On top of the Hololive Headquarters stood Kronii, her hair flowing through the wind. Her eyes scanned the city of Tokyo, looking for her target, that is the detective who has been having the pocket watch for too long. 

Kronii: "You have been defying the laws of Time detective, once I find you, I will take that watch back, even if it means I kill you. Though Civilization won't like it, but if it needs to be done, it shall be done..."

Her eyes then spot the detective she was looking for. However she seems to be with someone else, she has been told about the detective's antics but her partner is something else. As far as Kronii knows, he is a nobody, but is able to bring the Myths together, which is no small feat. But Kronii couldn't care less, she has a job and she will get it done.

Down outside the headquarters, Amelia stood in front, which made William stop in place.

William: "Why are we stopping?"

Amelia: "I could feel something... Though I cannot put my finger on it."

William could see she was sweating a little, but she cleared her throat.

Amelia: "So Will, you go do your task and I go do mine. That a fair deal?"

William raised an eyebrow.

William: "Why would that be a deal? Oh well, I will see you later Amelia."

William then walks off to where he needs to go. Amelia enters the building and takes the elevator to the floor she needed to be. Once the elevator door opens, she could see most of the members of the Japanese Branch doing their usual antics, which puts a smile on her face. After all, she was the one who found out the truth about these people first anyway. She head immediately to Yagoo's office.

Once she got there, the door opens and out walks A-chan.

A-chan: "Oh Watson."

Amelia: "Hey there A-chan."

A-chan: "Don't mind me, Yagoo wants to see you. I need to sort out some paperwork."

A-chan walks away, though Amelia sighs and walks into the office. Yagoo turns his seat around to look at her, with a smile on his face.

Yagoo: "It is great to see you here again Amelia."

Amelia: "I could say the same. I heard that there is an upcoming festival?"

Yagoo: "Ah yes. You see, the members of Hololive want to host this coming festival, though the problem would be that it could bring in disasters that we don't want."

Amelia: "So you want me to deal with this problem?"

Yagoo: "You are amongst one of the smartest people here. So I don't see how you could fail."

Amelia: "Well... I don't want to brag or anything.."

She did her signature gremlin laugh, which would make Yagoo stand from his seat and look out the window.

Yagoo: "How is that partner of yours doing? I heard from your reports about him."

Amelia: "Oh he is coping, but he did prove me wrong before. So I am doing better when keeping an eye on him."

Yagoo: "Though I am curious though, do you know anything about that demon he possesses?"

Amelia: "We don't know too much. All we know is that he is known as the Chained Demon. He was supposed to be locked for eternity for his treachery towards the Circles of Hell. But due to Will's parents, that isn't the case."

Yagoo: "Although it seems like as if the demon was a lower class. But yet when it takes hold, it becomes a higher class by damaging the human body to morph it into something greater. That is what I read from your reports of course."

He turned to look at Amelia.

Yagoo: "I still advise caution, not just for William, but for Ina as well. We know some fair knowledge about the Ancient Ones already due to the combined report from you and your partner. As long as you have Ina under your care, you are responsible. Are we clear?"

His smile was gentle and kind, but Amelia feels like this could be something else. But she neatens her cap.

Amelia: "Of course."

While their conversation continued, William was travelling through Tokyo. Two things keep going through his mind, well three actually. First being that Amelia was nervous about something, he normally never saw her like that, but it could have been the meeting she was attending. The second being the job he was assigned to do, he doesn't know much about it but he must tread with caution if this is going to be beyond his normal capabilities. But the third strangely terrifies him, he hoped that he wouldn't see Marine anywhere while he was busy. He knows that he has not contacted her for months so who knows what happens if you end up destroying or losing your phone, maybe it could be a punishment from the other party, but he just hopes it doesn't come down to that.

???: "Excuse me, are you perhaps the one I asked to meet?"

William turned around to meet the individual. He did remember the voice so it made things easier. He seemed to be in his thirties and judging by his attire, he seems rich. 

William: "I am indeed. May I know the name of the person who I am seeing now?"

???: "Right of course. But follow me first, I will tell you on the ride back to my place."

William was feeling suspicious about the situation, but if he was tasked on assisting this person, then he might as well get it done. William followed the man into his vehicle, though it was a limousine, he had a bad feeling about this all together.

Eventually they arrived to his mansion and they entered. Judging by the amount of people that are dressed in suits and even armed, he realized that this guy is a head of a Yakuza gang. They sat down on, crossing legs and some of his men brought in something to drink for the both of them. 

Takeshi: "I am Takeshi Sora, as you can see, I am the head of this Yakuza."

William: "Figured as much, but why did you need to be secretive in the first place?"

Takeshi: "Through these recent weeks, I am been getting reports of my men getting killed in the same way. A simple bullet to the head."

William raised an eyebrow to this, how could this be his problem? Couldn't it just be another Yakuza gang wanting to take over?

William: "How would it be my problem?"

Takeshi: "This isn't just any ordinary sniper we are dealing with. Every time it happens, we could never properly pinpoint where the shots came from, but even if we do, it was like there is no more trace left behind."

William: "Will admit, sounds weird, but what do you expect me to do about it? I am just a sidekick to a detective who was sent alone."

Takeshi: "Your fame is not to be underestimated Bismarck. I heard through some of the recent months that you have taken down supernatural threats."

William: "Those are just lower class dangers. Nothing serious, but since you are going to pay me and I have to do my job, I will see what I can do. The best advice I can give for you is to stay here until this mess is sorted."

Takeshi: "I will take that into consideration Bismarck."

William was then escorted out and once he left the premises, he thought about this carefully, how will he deal with this mysterious killer? Though it could be supernatural, he could never tell. But he decides to wait 'til night time to see if anything happens. 

[Time skip]

It is now night time and he is waiting in a nearby alley. He continues spinning his Desert Eagle in hand, trying to think of the possibility of him being wrong. But then he heard gunshots, which he immediately put away his pistol and checked what was going on. He could see that the guards are rushing towards where the gunshots were, but however he then noticed a hooded figure rush insides without being detected. The one thing that crossed his mind immediately, that this must be the killer. He rushed towards the entrance, kicking it down.

Though the inside was empty, no one was to be seen. He then heard gunshots upstairs so he rushed as quickly as he could. Once he got to the scene, he could see that two of the guards were killed, simple shots to the head. He could judge by the calibre alone that these are pistol rounds. So this isn't just a sniper, but a professional gun expert. He then heard screaming coming from one of the nearby rooms, so he rushed towards it immediately. Which lead him into a dojo.

He looked around, seeing no one, but he could hear subtle movements, like a predator stalking its prey. 

???: "I advise you not to move."

William turned around immediately and pointing his Desert Eagle at the figure. However the figure was holding Takeshi hostage. The figure sounded feminine and the noticeable details could be seen. Her pants had white stripes with it being tight and black. Her hood consists of a similar design. But the one thing that would be noticed by him was the eyes, being predator-like in nature. 

William: "Let him go."

???: "Why should I? He is one of the people who would manipulate others to do whatever he wants. Can't you see that?"

William: "I know you are correct. But he isn't the reason I am here. I am here for you. I heard that you can kill others with ease, simple shots to the head you could say."

???: "That what this guy told you?"

She pressed her pistol against his head.

Takeshi: "If you know what to do, do it now Bismarck!"

???: "Bismarck?"

She seemed confused, but William could tell that if he makes one error, his client dies and he fails his job. 

William: "Listen... I am William Bismarck. I am here just doing my job. If you let him go, we can have a simple chat."

Dark aura slowly starts forming around William and his eyes have a slight glow of orange. Though to the killer, it looks like the eyes of a fresh predator. She thinks about it and then she whacks Takeshi in the head with her pistol knocking him out. The moment she let go, William fired a shot, which she managed to dodge. Though it did graze her cheek. 

???: "You are faster than I thought."

William didn't respond, but then a fire fight ensued. Each of them firing shots against each other. Dodging each shot, hiding behind cover and trying to obtain tactical advantages. However it seemed as if she was better at doing so, though each shot that hit William was healed overtime. She will admit that she was surprised that there was someone who could be close to her level of skill. Though she knows that she is the apex predator here. 

With her accuracy, she put William on the backfoot, aiming for the kneecaps and then while he was distracted by the pain, going in for the knee to the face, knocking him down to the ground. She then pins him to the ground, ensuring that he cannot move. 

???: "Had enough?"

William scowls and then headbutts her off of him, but it also removed her hood which when he got back up, he could have sworn that he recognized. 

William: "Who are you?"

Botan: "Botan."

William: "Wait.... You are Botan? One of the members of the Japanese Branch?"

It then clicks for her that she recognized him now, that one guy that Marine used to talk about before he went silent. Though she did try to keep in contact with him, it was silent from her end as well.

Botan: "Sorry about that."

She then puts her pistol away. William gets the idea and puts his away as well. 

William: "It is no issue."

Takeshi: "No!"

They both turn to see Takeshi get back up, but very slowly.

Takeshi: "What are you doing Bismarck!?"

William: "Simple. I cannot kill a member of the company I work with."

Takeshi: "You bastard!"

Takeshi tries to pull out his pistol to shoot William but Botan was quicker and shot his hand, forcing him to drop his gun and fall to the ground. 

Botan: "The same goes for me? Permission to kill him now?"

William: "You killing the client will be bad for me but if you can figure out a way to repay me, then sure. Go for it."

Botan nodded and walked up to Takeshi. His fear started kicking in and he was slowly trying to crawl away. But she shot both of his kneecaps and then flipped him to his back.

Takeshi: "Wait! I can pay you a large sum! Most of our inheritance money! Please just let me-"

She then shot him directly in the forehead. Killing him instantly. She sighed and holsters her pistol. She then walked up to William.

William: "I am fine. I can regenerate.."

Botan: "I can see that. Why were you silent?"

William: "What?"

William blinked for a few times, trying to comprehend what she means.

Botan: "You ghosted."

William then clicks on what she means.

William: "S-Sorry about that.. I guess I could say that I either lost my phone or it got destroyed... Plus my job is quite busy and I never got the time to get a new one..."

He nervously chuckles. But then they hear footsteps approaching and they get the idea of escaping as soon as possible.

Botan: "Follow me."

William nods and tries to follow closely behind. They manage to escape the premises and William was panting, knowing that his adrenaline rush is no longer there. Botan could see this.

Botan: "Now to answer to your response."

She then punched him in the gut and he goes to the ground, coughing a bit of saliva. That was really painful to him.

William: "W-What was that f-for?"

Botan: "For ghosting us and of course, not giving time to others."

William stood back up, but Botan assisted him in doing so since she didn't properly hold back her punch. When he looked at her, she smiled for a second but once he was properly balanced, she let him go.

Botan: "Now I am heading back since I did what I wanted to do tonight. Meet with me tomorrow and we can discuss that payment."

William gets the idea and nods. She then walks off, though William has been thinking, is this how Botan is? Well at least he got to know another member, but he has a long way to go. But before he could walk, he felt an overwhelming presence. He started sweating and he tried to look where it is coming from. He then realized it was heading towards Amelia's direction, since he has improved on sensing others, he came to this conclusion. So he started sprinting to Amelia as quick as he could. Whatever this presence is, it is not a good one at all.

Amelia arrives to a park, which she believed that she would meet back with William. Though to her, the air got chilly, she couldn't explain it, but it was the same feeling before she walked into the Hololive Headquarters. 

???: "So I finally found you, Amelia Watson."

She immediately turned around to see Kronii, with her overwhelming presence which scares Amelia in place. She doesn't know how to respond to this except with....

Amelia: "The... Warden of Time..."
