Well, this story is coming to an end now. I really enjoyed writing this but don't threat, there will be a new story called "The Freelancers". There will be a new poll coming out soon for what could be Lillie's last name. But without further ado, let's get started.

3 years later

It has been 3 years since Ash took down Calem for good. During the trial however, Serena was questioned about her affiliations with him. She claimed that she did work as a thief under his wing but after being taken to custody, she has revaluated her intentions now. Upon giving Calem his prison sentence, Ash and Serena started dating and eventually, they became a couple. But they started a bit late due to Ash being in hospital at the time of Calem's trial. Also, because of how long he was in the hallway, the microwaves damaged his nerves so he was stuck on a wheelchair for a year. But that didn't stop him from his job and spending time with Serena.

"Gosh, I never thought walking would be this troubling" Ash exclaimed, getting up from his couch.

"Well, because of your recklessness, you have to face the consequences" Andrew said sipping his tea.

"I'm sure you'll feel better Ash" Serena stated giving him a quick peck on the cheek.

"Yeah, I hope so too" Ash replied, "This disability makes my job a little harder"

Just then, the phone started ringing and Andrew went to pick it up. After talking to Commissioner Malcolm, he was told that Calem had escaped prison. Ash and Serena were a bit shocked about it but Andrew didn't seemed fazed by it. He then grabbed a small machine and started looking at it. It appeared that Andrew built a motion tracking beacon and attached it to Calem. He scanned through where he could be and got very surprising results. Andrew then picked up a baseball bat and went out to the backyard.

"Where is Andrew going?" Serena asked.

"I have no idea" Ash answered.

After that, they heard a loud noise followed by a person groaning and getting knocked out. Andrew came back in dragging an unconscious Calem on the floor. Ash and Serena were confused by this until Andrew explained to them that on the tracking device, Calem coincidentally hid in one of the bushes in their backyard. The two of them couldn't stop laughing at that and Malcolm came to take Calem away yet again.

5 years later

After a year, Calem is still failing at escaping that he just gave up. That gave peace to Ash and Serena so they were able to hang out more often and peacefully. Serena now works as Ash's secretary now that President Lance has allowed him to work in Kalos. Now, they got to spend even more time. But it will all change with Ash's plan, he asked Andrew, Genji and Tracer to help him out on this one.

"A date?" Serena questioned.

"Yeah, I'd like to spend some alone time with you" Ash exclaimed.

"You seem a bit desperate for me to come" Serena pointed out.

"That's because this is important" Ash explained, "I'd really appreciate it if you do come"

Serena thought about it and decided that it would be nice spend time with her boyfriend again. Ash told her to dress nicely and meet her at the park in Lumiose Square. Upon arriving home, she changed out of her uniform and into a more casual attire and went out to Lumiose Square. She scoured around the park until she spotted Ash with his iconic raven hair giving him away from the distance. Upon walking closer towards him, she finds a neatly placed picnic blanket with many delicious food and drinks placed on it. This took Serena by surprise and was shocked at what she saw.

"Like what you see?" Ash asked.

"Ash, why is this so neat?" Serena replied.

"Well, I decided that this day is going to be special" Ash answered.

Afterwards, the two sat down and spent the rest of the afternoon eating and chatting with each other. Serena kept thinking why Ash decided to make it special until she realised that today was the exact same day the two became a couple. She started smiling about all the great memories she had being with Ash. Confessing her love to him, him waking up at the hospital, having their first kiss, all of the memories involving him were great. Well, minus the memory of him capturing and interrogating her. As it became night time, Ash used his CODEC to signal Andrew and stood up.

"Serena, can you please stand up" Ash requested.

Serena did as she was told and Ash started facing the night sky. She turned to the same direction and saw fireworks exploding in the sky. In the corner of her eye, she could see Tracer, Genji and Andrew firing the fireworks into the sky from a distance. Ash must've got them to do that for him she thought, this was a wonderful night. Serena turned to face Ash in which he did the same.

"Ash, this was beautiful, I will never stop remembering this" Serena exclaimed.

"Well, there is another thing you will definitely remember" Ash stated.

"What is it?" Serena asked.

"Well, we've been dating for 8 years and I have been thinking about this" Ash answered.

"Thinking about what?" Serena questioned.

"I thought about how important you are to me and now that I've brought you into the right direction, it's time I do this" Ash explained. He got down on one knee and pulled out a velvet box containing a ring. "Serena Yvonne, will you marry me?"

Serena was shocked by this, she couldn't be more happy. "YES" Serena screamed as she pulled him into a tight hug. Ash placed the ring on her finger and the two couldn't be happier. Andrew, Genji and Tracer were in the distance applauding the two.

10 years later

"Mommy, dad's come home now" A young boy cried.

Serena heard this and went to where her son was. She looked out the window and saw Ash's car being parked outside. Both he and Andrew came out and she was happy to see her husband home. When he walked into the house, the young boy ran up to him and hugged his leg.

"Hi there son" Ash greeted his 6 year old son.

After Ash and Serena got married, they started planning on when they will have children. Once it was the middle of their second year of marriage, Serena was found positive on the pregnancy test. So for 9 months, Serena had to carry their unborn child until he was born. They named him Cedric and he always looked up to Ash, wanting to become a detective just like him.

"So daddy, what did you get for my birthday?" Cedric asked.

"Well, Uncle Andrew had to help me with this but I'm sure you'll love it" Ash answered.

Andrew then pulled out a briefcase which Cedric happily took. He opened it to find miniature spy equipment and a small detective uniform. He was so happy that he ran into his room so he can try them out.

"Oh you, giving him all the things you use at work" Serena exclaimed.

"Well, he wants to be like me when he's older" Ash stated, "So why not give him a head start"

"Also, there was another thing that Cedric also asked for" Serena said seductively.

"Um, what would that be?" Ash asked with a quirked eyebrow. Serena then proceeded to put her mouth near his ear.

"He also asked for a sibling" She whispered.

This surprised Ash a bit and Andrew heard what she said. Because of that, Andrew walked off whistling, acting like he didn't hear a thing. Ash on the other hand was surprised at what his wife wanted but he obliged. So the two went up to their bedroom to go do their business.

"Uncle Andrew" Cedric called out.

"Yes Cedric?" Andrew replied.

"What are mom and dad doing in their room?" Cedric asked.

"Well, you'll eventually know when your older" Andrew explained, "But to give you a brief description, they are doing mummy and daddy things"

"Oh ok" Cedric said going back to playing with his present.

'Someday, he'll know what his parents are doing' Andrew thought as he went back to his work.
