Finally some peace after a long journey from seoul to busan. I took my suitcase out of the car and called harabeoji... S, I'm in front of his house to enjoy my vacation which has already started.

I'm a kpop idol in hybe and I debuted last year. I'm a member of the girl group, new jeans. So, due to my tight schedule and practice sessions, I couldn't really spend time with my grandparents.

So now I'm here to spend some time with them during my long vacation.

Basically, I luv my grandparents a lot and they r so in luv with themselves. But still they r the best grandparents. U know what? They have best love story ever. My grandpa was the most romantic guy ever,My grandma told me.

Even though they r old, they look beautiful.

My dad, Kim ji hyun is their one and only son.

I opened the gate and entered into the house. I waved bye to my dad and mom and closed the door. They have some important work so they will join us by dinner.... Probably.

I was searching for harabeoji in the garden area as he loves plants and peace like me.

Many say that I took after my grandpa more than my own dad and mom. That's y I look so pretty.

Then I bumped into yoojung halmoni... My grandpa's lovely sister.

Yoojung: minji ah... (She hugged her tightly) did u miss me? I missed u a lot... U have grown a lot but still u have lost a lot of wait. I'm gonna prepare a feast for u tonight. Wait and watch.

Minji: really.... I wud luv, that. I missed u alot, halmoni. I'm really hungry, so make it fast. Dad and mom will join us later.

Yoojung: ur dad is such a brat. We gonna have a family dinner after a long time and look, his work is more important than us.

Minji: dad really wanted to join us but it rlly was something important, halmoni. No worries, I'm here on his behalf. I'll take care.

Yoojung: u've grown a lot, kiddo. Look at my sweet doll being so mature and protecting her family.

I chuckled

Minji: btw, where's ur handsome brother? My harabeoji?

Yoojung: he'll be helping ur grandma in the kitchen... Probably doing romance and singing songs.

Minji: sounds romantic though. I'll go and disrupt their peace.

Yoojung: that's my girl...

I bowed and went inside the house and directly went into the kitchen to see my grandpa, kim Taehyung singing a very old song to my grandmother Kim jisoo... Waah, lovely couple.

I cleared my throat and both looked at me with such happy faces. Jisoo halmoni came running to me and hugged me followed by taehyung harabeoji.

Minji: how have u been, u both?

Jisoo: we missed u a lot... Especially ur smile.

She spanked on my butt and I hissed.

Tae: ah, I really feel that I'm becoming old bcuz of this punk... Look how tall she has grown. She's taller than u.

Jisoo: u can't pass a day without teasing me.

Tae: ofc, I can't...

Minji: ok ok... Stop with ur bickering, old couple. Now, I'm damn hungry... Gimme some snacks.

Tae: how about some bunggeopang?

Minji: I would luv that.

Jisoo: we don't have any... Do we?

Tae: no, we don't... I'll buy her some outside. The store nearby our home. The one we'll buy regularly.

Grandpa took his overcoat.

Jisoo: she just now came. Let her rest for a while.

Minji: no, halmoni... I will go. Its been a long time since I had those sweet bunggeopang with harabeoji in that shop.

Jisoo: r u sure?

I nodded.

Jisoo:yeobo, take care. Go safely.

Tae:ohkay...

I chuckled.

I kept my luggage in my room there and rushed behind grandpa. We headed out to the store and grandpa was telling me abt his past stories abt him being a spy, model, army officer, etc.

It was fun. That's y I come here, I luv hearing his stories a lot.

My favourite one is his train journey to daegu, it was when he met grandma face to face...

It was fascinating and gave me goosebumps.

Minji: harabeoji, after u married grandma did the North Korean spy issue solved? Didn't they bother u afterwards? I mean I remember that u told me two spies escaped after shooting grandma and ur friend. Did they come back?

Tae: ofc, they did...

We reached the shop.

Tae: 2 servings of bunggeopang.. Pls

The owner: ooh... U r here after a long time, Mr Kim. Is ur grand daughter Kim Minji coming back here?

That ahjumma nodded and noticed me.

The owner: ommo, minji ah... How r u?

Minji: I'm good. U?

The owner: I'm great. It's been a long time. It's been a year since u came here.

Minji:s... I'll be here for a while to enjoy my break.

The owner: I'll see u around. And here's my gift.

She gave me an extra serving of bungeoppang.

Minji: thanks a lot...

The owner: this freebie is for u to go out with my grandson. He's rlly handsome. I'll introduce him to u sometime.

I nodded shyly. Oh no, I'm super shy.

Tae: her agency doesn't allow dating.

The owner: I c.. Then won't she marry anyone?

Tae: she will... Y r u suddenly talking abt her marriage? She's still young.

Then halmoni called me.

I attended it.

Jisoo: minji ah, come fast... Ur dad came home.

Minji: on our way, halmoni.

I caught the call.

Minji: harabeoji, dad came. Leggo fast.

Tae: oh... Let's hurry. Let's see later, ms jung.

The owner waved us bye and we were on our way.

Minji: what did they do? How did they come back?

Tae: didn't I tell u this? This was my best adventure ever...

Minji: u never told me.

Tae: then today's story night... Come to my room before sleeping. It's quite a big one.

Minji:(with a body smile) oooh... Thanks. It's gonna be fun tonight. Yeah.

Tae: r u that interested?

Minji: ofc, I'm...
