MALIN'S P.O.V.

(Flashback continued>)

The anger I tried to suppress earlier suddenly raged a war in my chest, my breathing becoming harsh and sticky from the molten lava that consumed my lungs.

How dare she! Jax exclaimed, which only added fuel to the fire; that was already burning strong inside.

I yelled out in response allowing Jax to take full control, it was satisfying seeing her turn around bewildered that I had heard her. I marched forward taking long strides, Jax continued to growl, he relished in the moment.

I reached her in a split second, noticing the fear that consumed her eyes as it grew wider by each passing second. Deep within her blue iris, sat the reflection of the orange hues which burned deep within me.

My eyes completely dilated, I growled before extending my arm out, my skin grazed her cheeks as I made contact. My knuckles rejoiced in excitement, prompting the continuation of assault, till I felt her pulse fade away between my fingertips.

Jax smirked but still wanted more, clearly the wolfsbane did not suppress my wolf, after all a Beta wolf was far stronger than an ordinary wolf.

I narrowed my eyes, as she fell to the ground oh this was going to be fun.

Jax, immediately struck out a powerful kick to her stomach, she automatically hunched backwards from the impact. It was effortless, hurting a pathetic Rogue especially one who defied a Beta.

Suddenly I felt the wolfsbane wash all over my body, I stumbled back as the rush of bane coursed through my veins taking with it my senses.

I shook my head trying to compose myself; I was not done with this bitch though; I was going to make sure she knew not to mess with me again.

But before I could turn around again, a growl filled the air, I whipped my head back to meet the source; my mouth dropped to the floor at the sight in front of me.

Her wolf in control now, her prominent dark blue eyes looked identical to that of the black moon, reminding me of a particular Alpha I wanted to forget.

She stepped forward so quickly that I was only left with the sensation of her punch. I stumbled back further trying to control my footing before I tripped. Her raspy and deep voice boomed over the crowd of wolves, I had not cared to notice.

They were staring at me their eyes looking me up and down.... in disgust? They should be looking up to you, them scums! Jax roared.

"What the fuck are you idiots looking at?", I yelled no longer able to stand their penetrating gazes.

"Not a wise move Beta Malin, now leave before you are forced off the premises", a voice boomed over my shoulder. I could not see the face of the speaker, as rage covered my eyes leaving me completely blindfolded and oblivious.

The blindfold forcing my senses to go wild, as I tried to recover my vision. My chest heaved up and down as I took long haggard breaths, I fisted my palms trying to circulate this current fit which consumed me.

I could not help it when the fits of laughter boasted through me, "I—I... oh god" did he seriously think I would give up my prey that easily?

"Careful now Beta"...

"THIS BITCH WILL KNOW HER PLACE, HOW DARE SHE REFUSE A BETA!", my tongue spitting out, as it tasted the power that coursed through my veins.

The tip of my tongue stinging, as I bit down onto it trying to taste the blood that pumped of pure power.

It was like pure ecstasy I was consumed with rage, power and excitement which coursed through me and I didn't want it to stop.

No matter the cost.

I shifted my body staring directly at the target. He was still blurred, as the s h e e r blindfold coated my eyes. But I did my best to lift my head and show this idiot some dominance.

"HOW DARE YOU LOOK ME IN THE EYE! ARE YOU CHALLANGING AN APLHA!".

The words echoed through my brain, trying to make sense of what was said. He was an Alpha oh shit!

I'm out, you can have control Jax yelled across the link, great now my wolf abandoned me.

Slowly the sheer blindfold lifted, I blinked a few times before I saw a man who looked about six foot tall hunched in front of me. His hot breath trickling down the surface of my skin. His chest caved out so quick I thought it was going to explode.

Shit it's Drake! he was the second most lethal Alpha, after Alpha Vincenzo, just my luck I thought I had to piss off an Alpha whose clearly going to have my head.

I gulped, as I glanced to the girl I had targeted, her face impassive clearly not wanting to give me the time of day. Her eyes focused on the Alpha in front of me, probably awaiting the punishment I'll be receiving.

Suddenly large muscular arms gripped my neck, lifting me off my feet. My legs wiggled trying to get out of the choke hold, but my effort was proven to be completely futile.

"SUBTMIT NOW OR SO HELP ME I WOULD, BREAK EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY TILL YOU BEG ME TO STOP", he yelled into my ear.

I gulped at the sudden intrusion in my ear, his voice echoed through my left to the right ear bouncing away in waves, as though to taunt me further.

Submit now you have no choice, he is an Alpha after all, we did the wrong thing. Jax finally spoke up his advice was not welcoming, as the thought of submitting filled my cheeks with a light shade of crimson.

I was clearly embarrassed now, but I had no choice "o-oookay im sorryyy Alpha D-Drake", I blurted my drunk state now catching up with me again, as I slurred the words out.

I bent my head down in submission.

Finally, I was released I crashed onto the wooden floorboards with a loud thud.

 I was immediately lifted by two people, I looked up now as curiosity got the better of me, two warriors began to drag me out of the bar, "W-wwwhat is going onn?. I slurred out again, I felt panic begin to surge in the pit of my stomach.

Where are they taking me? Where they going to kill me in the woods?

Alpha Drake turned to face me staring me down through his hooded eyes, I looked away reminding myself I needed to submit.

"You're going to get punished, by yours truly, Alpha Vincenzo".

Oh no no no! not him, I was now praying for Alpha Drake to take me instead. But before I knew it, I was shoved into a black Hummer, the two warriors stared me down daring me to run away.

"Shit", I mumbled there was no way out.

Releasing a shaky breath, I sat back and accepted my fate.

             *END OF FLASHBACK*

I looked up slowly, as the last words left my mouth, Alpha Vincenzo burned away in anger. He slid his fingers through his hair gripping it fiercely. He was going to go bold by this rate. My father besides him shook his head at me, clearly also disgusted with my behaviour.

Alpha Drake stared intently at my brother waiting for his response, they both made eye contact clearly communicating through a mind link. Suddenly the silence was broken, this is it my punishment is now being handed to me.

"You will head to Alpha Drakes pack and apologise in front of his pack for your disrespect", he walked forward growling at me.

He paused for a moment, letting his earlier words settle in he must be done right? No oth—

"I hereby revoke you from the title of Beta".

No no no no no!

I felt a shift within my body, like the snap of an invisible band, the power I once held withdrawn with the flick of a switch. I hunched forward; my chest heavy with the loss, I gasped in pain as my wolf howled in agony, he to felt the control slipping through his paws.

That title was my birth right, as the eldest son the Alpha title went right to him, and I was left powerless.

After several years of trying to prove my worth, I was finally able to claim the title as Beta. However, I would never be a match to Alpha Vincenzo the damn Goddess chose him, not me or my father.

It had to be my fucken brother 'The Blessed Alpha', I internally rolled my eyes.

I looked to my father who stood behind the wooden desk, his face plastered with his usual indifferent mask.

"I did you favour! She's a godamn ROGUE!", I growled out he had no right to take away what was mine.

The Alpha tsked, "that is the only reason, why you are not sanctioned to the pack cells, pup!", Alpha Vincenzo raised his brows daring me to speak.

Realising I had no leg to stand on, I looked around helplessly my eyes wide as ever facing all the Alpha's who stood before.

I felt like a mere pawn as they stood tall like kings, leaving me to suffocate in their lingering presence.

 My palms became sweaty, I could feel the tiny drops of perspiration that coated my bare skin, the power in the room becoming all too much to handle.

Whether you accept it or not you will be punished, my brother's voice growled in the depths of my mind, making me edge closer towards insanity by the minute.

Think Malin there must be a way out! Think ahhhh....

Alpha Vincenzo took one calculated step back, smirking he clenched his fists at his sides like he was utterly satisfied about something.

He narrowed his eyes, holding me captive under his devilish irises, I could not look away as though I were hypnotised.

"I hereby subject you towards Omega duties until I deem you fit to hold out another position", my brother declared his eyes never once leaving mine.

Shit they were banished, he can't make us... no he can't. Jax frantically paced around feeling the brunt of the impact.

"Son maybe y--" ,the Alpha whipped his head towards my father so quick I thought his neck would snap. 

"Remember your place", he growled out.  Father huffed out in response re-directing his gaze at me, well at least he tried right. 

"It was banished", I whispered lowly reminding myself of the non-existent Omega rank. The Alpha returned to his earlier position, hovering over me with a malicious smirk.

The pack no longer had Omega's, as Alpha Vincenzo could not tolerate anyone weak in his pack of power.

He banished the rank years ago, and instead employed both younger and older wolves to fulfill the positions as part time workers.

I was going to be the first ever OMEGA in over twelve years... a pervious beta holding the weakest title amongst all pack members.

 I was burning, my heart clenching each time I replayed the disgusting words in my head Omega Omega Omega Omega.

Smiling he crouched down to reach my eyes, his eyes holding me captive once again.

I tried to shrug off the power but how could I when it was suffocating  every fibre within my body.

"Not anymore, OMEGA".
