Meeting The Cullen's

**Hello all! Thank you for sticking with me! Hope you enjoy! :)

"Meet your family? R-right now?" I stutter out, not really expecting him to suggest that.

"I know it's sudden, but Carlisle and Alice will know why you're getting flashes of the future. They can help." I suddenly feel a calming wave roll over me, and seeing the truth in Jasper's eyes I know it'll be fine.

"Okay." I nod before realization kicks me in the gut. "I need to go home and change then!" Jasper chuckles, grabbing my frantic hand, and I pause slightly when the calming sensation returns.

"Sophia. You look great. You don't need to change for my family." I smile at his sweet words, hoping to hide the redness of my cheeks, at his compliment.

Jasper leads me back across the parking lot, to a lone motorcycle and he turns to me, his infamous crooked smile present.

"Have you ever rode a motorcycle?" It's beautiful, and I admire from our spot, catching the name Ducati, and my eyes widen.

"My father, being chief of police, doesn't think they're safe. So no, I can't say I have." I feel myself light up in excitement, making Jasper seem less nervous as he pulls out a helmet, getting on the bike.

"Well, there's a first time for everything darlin'." He smirks widely at my expense, his accent becoming heavier.

"No helmet for you?" I ask still holding the hunk of plastic in my hands, realizing just how close we're going to be during this ride.

"I don't need one, my head's like steel." He says with a smirk, tapping his head, making me laugh as I strap the hunky thing on and climb on behind him.

"So you're hard headed then? Good to know." A smile evident in my voice causing Jasper to laugh out loud, and I can't help but love the sound of it.

"Only when I need to be." He looks at me over his shoulder, the smirk evident. "I'd hold on tight if I were you."

I quickly wrap my arms around his waist, the muscles under his sweater not going past my notice, and a gasp escapes my lips as the bike roars to life.

The forest quickly flashes by in blurs of brown and green, and I marvel in it before I have to tuck my face into Jasper's back, the speed making me slightly motion-sick. Being this close I can feel his chest rumble with laughter and causing me to smack his chest before smiling myself.

Getting to his house was faster than I expected and my nerves suddenly return as I peek around Jasper's broad shoulder, looking at the beautiful house. Jasper offers me a hand as we get off the bike, and I'm once again encapsulated in a feeling of calm, thankful for whatever is causing it.

"Don't worry. Everything will be alright." He smiles, and I can tell he's fighting something internally as we make our way into the house.

"They're here!" I hear a tinkling voice from inside the house making me laugh as Jasper just shakes his head.

"That would be Alice. She's just a bit excited to meet you." He opens the door for me, following behind me.

Walking through the kitchen and dining room, the two of us are met by five other people, who I recognizes from the pictures in Carlisle's office, all lounging comfortably greeting them with sweet smiles from almost all of them.

"Hello Sophia." Carlisle smiles sweetly, his arm wrapped around a beautiful, dark haired woman. "This is my wife, Esme."

I'm caught off guard when the woman breaks away from his embrace to wrap me gently in a hug which surprises me.

"It's so wonderful to finally meet you! We've heard so much about you."

"You have?" I ask shocked, before looking at Jasper with a slight smirk.

"You've been talking about me then?" I laugh slightly at his expense, as his burly brother joins in.

"Yes, and well, it's been a lot of Alice too... She's been fas...excited to meet you."

I catch his slip, but before I can question it, a thin brunette dances up to them, embracing me in a surprisingly tight hug. This must be Alice, only because I somehow recognizes the fairie-like woman, remembering her name from my most recent vision thing.

"Sophia! It's so wonderful to finally meet you!" Alice pulls back, a wide smile on her thin face.

"You as well. It's wonderful to meet you all." I say with a shy smile, noticing how Jasper drifts back to my side.

It doesn't escape my notice when his family share a shocked look, and I remember it must surprise them how comfortable he is around me, and the smell of my blood. I cringe slightly at the thought, what a weird sentence... And before I'm able to banish it, I wonder if I smell the same to the rest of them... I quickly crinkle me nose, ignoring the thoughts.

"And that's Emmett and Rosalie, and you know of Edward." I nod to Jasper, smiling at the last two that he introduced.

"I suspect he's off somewhere divulging our secrets to Bella." Rosalie grits out and I'm slightly taken aback by the venom in her voice towards my sister, although I don't blame her.

"Rose. Now is not the time." Esme chastises, but Rosalie simply rolls her eyes before sending me an apologetic look.

"It's alright. If I'm being honest, my sister and I don't often see eye to eye." I add with a shrug and a forgiving look to Rosalie.

"Would you like to sit?" Esme asks, leading me into the warm living room after Carlisle awkwardly clears his throat.

"Don't worry, we aren't going to bombard you with a million questions—" Emmett chuckles deeply as they all follow.

"And you must understand it's quite important..." Esme tenderly pats the hand she's currently holding, and I smile.

"I know. If that's what you're all worried about." I admit calmly. No doubt they were wondering if I knew of what they were.

"She actually brought it up this morning." Jasper adds from behind me, and I can feel the tension leave the room.

"Well, that makes things easier." Emmett grins and Rosalie smacks him lightly, the sound reverberating throughout the room.

"Now, I know there's something else that brought you here today." Alice says after rolling her eyes at her adoptive family, sitting beside me.

"Something happened this morning... I'm not exactly sure how to describe it without sounding completely crazy—" I rake a nervous hand through my hair, just knowing I'll sound like a lunatic describing what happened.

"It was the equivalent to our gifts. We were wondering if you could, shed some insight about what might be going on?" Jasper finished for me, probably noticing that I was getting nervous again, clearly not wanting his family to think I'm crazy.

Before Carlisle can even get a word in, the front door opens again, the Cullen's briefly look between each other and I'm suddenly engulfed by nerves, that aren't my own, before two people come around the corner.

"Bella?"
