Prologue

"You do know, brother, that I am not just one of your subjects to wait on your hand?" A very annoyed Herobrine entered the dark room. He gave a swift glance at the others in the room and joined the duo next to the cauldron.

Steve sniffed and folded his arms, refusing to be in the presence of such a morally dark creature. Even if the creature was his brother.

"I thank you for your time, but a much more urgent matter is at hand rather than your PT," Notch said calmly, refusing to let impatience boil against his brother.

"Why did you summon me then?" Herobrine asked, knowing that it must've been in dire importance if Notch sent a messenger into the Aether. He almost rarely never sent one of his pet toy soldiers into the world of darkness.

"We have received a prophecy," Notch started gravely, "it concerns all of us, and most importantly, our children," that spiked Herobrine's interest. His two-year old daughter was something he would protect with his heart, mind and soul. Nothing ever would harm her.

Notch and Steve both had sons, sons they would protect as well. So it was very important if a prophecy was about their children.

"What did it say?" Herobrine's words were a hushed whisper.

"Full of riddles," Steve grumbled.

"The descendants of those who rule over thee,
One cast, one lost, one dead once fleed,
Shall decide the world's last fate,
And bend life's force in unworthy hate,"

"One cast, one lost, one dead once fleed," Herobrine muttered, a chill overcoming him.

"And bend life's force, who would have the power to do that?" Steve directed the question at Notch.

"It's is impossible to bring one back from the dead, unless if they were respawned, which cannot be artificially altered, whereas the prophecy says bend life's forces," Notch said thoughtfully, "even then, respawning, as you all know is an extremely rare event,"

Each of the three brothers sat deep in thought, each worrying about the prophecy that could determine the fate of the world.

"I don't think we should worry about this too much," Notch said, "you know what prophecies are like, they come to pass when you least expect it,"

The trio dismissed each worry building up inside of them. After all, wouldn't you be worried if your child could determine the fate of the world?
