"I don't know how you were able to reclaim your sanity... But it seems you've returned to your original form. And... The fact that you've come here means.. I see.. That strange being there has led you here... So, it seems you've realized the existence of this door"

Wild launches at the Demon King only the demon to grab him and squeeze him, crushing Wild within an instant kill.

"Wild!" Ayano shouts

"Damn it!" Meliodas shouts

The Demon King swings his giant blade at them and they jump away.

"How sad this truly is.. Ayano I thought you understood the plan perfectly"

"You can't take away Meliodas's emotions!" Ayano shouts "he's not my Meliodas without it"

"You're too kind hearted"

"You took Hawk away from his brother without a care in the world!" Ayano shouts "Wild was only trying to get him back and you took his life without a second thought!"

"We are demons Princess, we kill and take what's ours! You understand that! Just like how you repeated kill the goddess Elizabeth to take Meliodas back after 3 days of her returned memories!"

"W-what?" Meliodas looks at her "Ayano.. you cause her death.. every time"

"...yes" Ayano admits "the first time she reincarnated I was the one that pushed her off.. into the wooden log that pieced through her chest.. and every death that followed.. was my doing"

"As was your job!"

"A job I no longer want!" Ayano argues "I relentlessly killed my aunt over and over without question!"

Meliodas walks up and wraps his arms around her "it's ok, we're gonna put an end to this, you don't have to do it anymore"

"Yes you will, it is your duty!"

"No!" Ayano's eyes glow red

Meliodas and Ban suddenly feel all power and energy drain from their bodies, and they fall to the ground.

"W-what's happening?" Ban questions

"Ayano.. be careful" Meliodas holds himself up

Ayano spreads her wings and she flies up. Meliodas and Ban watches as she battles with the demon king. Ayano's sword, the Holy Sword LaLuna had grown to full size and was equally matched with the blade of the Demon kings.

"Cap'n we have to help" Ban tries to get up

"We are, by staying here" Meliodas tells him "she's using our power to help her fight, out of the three of us right now.. she stands a better chance"

"Loving my son as he was has become your weakness, just like him, you've grown attached to these pathetic life forms"

"Those pathetic life forms are the ones who have developed magical powers on their own" Ayano argues "right now they may be weak but with each generation they will get stronger.. take us for example"

"how- AHHH" 

LaLuna had peirced into the demon king's eye. Ayano pulls her sword out and he puts his hand over his eye.

"hmph, you're losing your touch old man, just sit back and let nature take it's course. Don't forget what happened 2000 years ago" Ayano smirks "I am the Demon Queen"

The Demon King swipes at her and she dodges. LaLuna glows white and she flies down at a great speed cutting off his arm in the process. The demon king shouts in pain and begins to regenerate his arm.

Ayano flies down and lands besides Meliodas and Ban. Their energy returns to them and they stand up panting.

"Let's go, we have to go now!" Ayano pulls on Ban's arm before turning to Meliodas "once we return to the realm you'll reenter your body"

"Great" Meliodas grins "let's go!"

Ban and Ayano collapse through a portal in the castle in Camelot, in front of Zeldris, Demon Meliodas, and Derieri. Meliodas collapses to the ground.

"Brother!" Zeldris freaks out "what's  wrong?!"

"oh god" Ban holds his head "that was.."

"Ayano, where have you been?!" Zeldris asks turning to her

"hehe" Ayano laughs as she stands up "putting an old man in his place.. again"

Meliodas's demonic powers deactivate and he slowly stands up.

"Meli!" Ayano runs over to him and takes his hand "are you ok?"

"I.." Meliodas looks at her and smiles "I'm perfectly fine"

Ayano's eyes tear up "you're back" she hugs him "you're finally back"

"Yeah" Meliodas kisses the top of her head "even though you were the one that helped with this whole plan" Meliodas laughs "in the end you saved me so that's all that matters"

Ban chuckles "yep that's the cap'n"

"I kicked the old man's ass for this shit!" Ayano shouts

Meliodas and Ban laughs.

"Hold on, you fought with dad again?" Zeldris asks

"Again?" Meliodas looks confused

"Well she's already the Demon Queen" Zeldris looks at Meliodas "she got her permanent spot by defeating father in a fight 2000 years ago, didn't you know?"

"...Ayano" Meliodas slowly turns and looks at her

"hehehe" Ayano laughs

"why didn't you tell me this?" Meliodas flicks her forehead "bad Aya"

"owie" Ayano whines

"Well 2000 years ago she didn't have all those seals on her yet right?" Ban asks

"That's right" Meliodas answers "I didn't put the seals on her till before the sins formed, Merlin sealed away her goddess half so I had to restrain her demon half"

'sister we require your assistance, I am sending you coordinates, please come'

"Meli" Ayano holds his arm "Gowther needs us, the situation is bad"

"Alright any promises made we're still gonna keep" Meliodas turns to Zeldris "I may be back to normal, but I'm still going to become Demon King, any objections?"

Zeldris and Derieri shrug, Meliodas and the two activate their demon powers and take off.

"Where are they going?!" Ayano shouts "I'm the one who knows where we're going"

"yeah.. on the other hand I hate to break it to you, but i can't fly" Ban says

"Oh I got it" Ayano spreads her wings out

"Don't tell me you're going to carry me" Ban sighs

"Nope" Ayano points to the sky

Ban looks up to see a dragon "the fuck?!"

"That's my familiar" Ayano tells him

"You've had a dragon this entire time?!" Ban shouts

"yeah, I used him in battle against Glozinia and Drole at the fighting festival remember?" Ayano reminds him

"Yeah but we've never really talked about that!" Ban looks at her "you've could've used that thing so many times to save our asses but didn't!"

"It's not like my dragon's immortal you know" Ayano turns to it as it lands "Hello Echo" she pets him "do me a favor and help out kay?"

The dragon nuzzles against her.

"Alright Ban get on" Ayano tells him

"...I get to ride a dragon" Ban walks towards him "hell yeah!"

The group arrives at what looks like an alter for the goddess clan.

"I am Meliodas!" A voice shouts and they all turn to see Estarossa with his darkness like Meliodas's

"H-He's insane!"

Ayano turns to see King "King!"

Meliodas charges at Estarossa as Ayano lands in front of King with her dragon and Ban.

"Ayano, Ban" King looks between the two "so is the captain back to normal?"

"Yep" Ban points at Ayano "listen here, she saved me again in purgatory, I almost got stuck there until she snapped me back to my senses"

"..So you're a sin again?" King questions

"King you idiot, I've always been a Sin" Ayano smiles "and I always will be"
