So depending on how much time I have to continue writing tonight.. the book may or may not get finished tonight. And then.. a surprise.

The three of them are currently running from the substance Purgatory creatures

"Hey, Cap" Ban calls out "What will you do first after we get back to the real world?"

"Ban! This isn't the time to be talking about that!" Meli shouts

"C'mon, what does it matter?" Ban questions

"I'll break the curse on Elizabeth and me, and then I'll drink enough Bernia Ale to fill me up to my eyes" Meli replies and Ayano laughs

"Princess?" Ban smirks looking at her

"Kill some fucken demons!" Ayano answers

"Hell yeah!" Ban laughs "I'd revive Elaine, of course. After that, I'd drink enough Aberdeen ale to bathe myself in! And i'll be damned if you two aren't joining"

"Yes!" Ayano cheers

The three laugh.

"We make the best of friends" Meliodas says

"Hell yeah we do!" Ban shouts

Ayano laughs "I'm so happy we're together"

"Same here!" the boys reply happily

The three sit around a fire eating, Ban and Ayano don't bother questing why Meliodas needs to eat even though he's an emotion but still part of Meliodas they guessed again so he should probably need to eat too.

"You may be the only human that will ever have been able to stay in Purgatory Ban" Meliodas says "For over a thousand years you've managed to survive as an immortal and still hang onto your sanity.."

"Perhaps it's because I was raised in such a total crap environment as a kid" Ban grins

"Mmm maybe" Ayano says and nudges him "but I fixed that didn't I"

"yep" Ban chuckles

"Your experience from enduring and adapting to Purgatory has caused an explosive transformation upon your body and soul. I'm sure once you get back to the other side, everyone will be shocked" Meliodas says

Ban laughs a little "I can't really feel anything much myself... But It'd be great if I'd powered up enough to be able to face the Ten Commandments toe-to-toe on their level!" Meliodas and Ayano hold in their laughs, "Y....You both just laughed at me, didn't you, you bastards?!"

"N...Not at all!" Meliodas lets out a laugh

Ayano begins to laugh as well

"ok ok you two bastards" Ban rolls his eyes playfully

"No but in all serious Ban" Ayano smiles "you really have gotten stronger"

"thanks you two.." Ban sighs "you know we've been wondering this place aimlessly, but I think their's only one real solution to get out"

"hm?" Meliodas looks over at him "and what's that?"

"...i think we need to fight the demon king" Ban tells them

Ayano starts choking and Meliodas pats her back "Easy Aya"

"y-you're serious?" Ayano questions

"mhm" Ban nods "so... I think we're being watched"

Ayano closes her eyes and she senses something "yeah.. I think you're right"

"Yeah" Meliodas agrees

He grabs the weapon he made then attacks the creature, but it escapes. Ban tries grabbing it but the skin on his fingers disappears.

The creature stands behind Meli, pointing something against his back, "You are strange-looking suspicious beings!! Earlier, you said something I simply could not let pass... That you all were 'going to go back to the other world'?" The creature says "You can't possibly mean that you are travelers from another world?"

"Well...Yeah, I guess you could say that" Meliodas answers calmly

"Are you... One of the Demon King's men?" Ban asks

"I don't think so" Ayano mutters to herself

"Demon King? Ah, that big ol' thing?... I know where he is" The creature replies "If you want me to guide you to him, I wouldn't mind.. But... You'll have to help me as well."

Meliodas attaches the bone weapon to his outfit and looks behind him "Help you? Who the heck are you, anyway?"

They look to the creature to see a Hawk lookalike, but it's hairy and has tusks.

"My name is Wild! A wandering warrior in search of my long-lost little brother!!" The creature answers

"HAWK?!" Ban and Meliodas shout

"That's not Hawk you idiots" Ayano sweat drops "he just said his name is Wild and he's looking for his brother"

Wild rushes to her "Have you seen him?! You must know him" 

"Your younger brother... You mean Hawk, right?" Ayano asks

"Hawk?" Wild looks confused "My younger brother's name is Mild... Though it's true, my brother disappeared around the time he was born... So it wouldn't be all too strange if he didn't remember his own name. You don't mean to say... That you know of a man that looks exactly like me?!"

"Did you just call yourself a man?" Meliodas questions as Ban holds in his laughter

"I'd say you look exactly like him except for a few minor differences" Ayano tells him

Wild started to tell them about his younger brother "My brother, Mild, was taken away immediately after he was born by the Demon King and sent somewhere far off outside of this world... That was over 8 million years ago"

"Hawk woke up in Britannia 16 years ago" Meliodas says looking at Ayano

"A minute in the other world is a year here in Purgatory, so the math adds up" Ayano tells them

"But I still do not know that reason why my brother was sent to the other world" Wild says

"I know the reason" Meliodas sighs "It was was for the Demon King of Purgatory to keep watch over me, his son and my fiancé.. That's definitely the reason why he chose Hawk"

"T...The Demon King's son?! J...Just who are you?!" Wild questions "That's right, I still haven't even asked your names"

"Meliodas"

"Ban"

"Ayano, Meliodas's fiancé... you see at first, the Demon King used animals of the real world to keep surveillance on me to ensure that I stayed vigilant to my duties" Ayano explains "and that Meliodas was serving out his punishment"

Meliodas shrugs "But they'd always either die to trivial accidents or from their short life span. That's probably when he turned his eye to creatures of Purgatory... And sure enough, Hawk is extraordinarily resilient and tough."

"It's no wonder he was even able to easily Handle Hendrickson's attacks," Ban grins

"And Hawk's a little cutie" Ayano smiles "their's no way I'd ever toss him out"

"Sir Meliodas, Lady Ayano, Sir Ban!" Wild jumps onto his feet, there's a sparkle in his eyes, "Please... Tell me more about Mild... I mean, Hawk!! Surely, he's grown up to be a fine, strong man!"

After a short story telling Wild seemed energetic.

"Now then, let's get going! To the Demon King! And to my precious little brother!" Wild announces and they begin to travel "But, I never thought that the door to the world where my little brother is would be at the feet of the demon king?"

Ayano shrugs "well it's apparently our best guess"

"How long has the Demon King been here?" Ban asks

"He's been around looooong before I was born" Wild answers "In my search for my brother's whereabouts, I've challenged the Demon King countless times, and have always gotten crushed! Out of our 12,118 battles, I've lost 12,118 times!"

"That's some dedication" Ban says

"The words 'give up' are not in the dictionary of I, Wild! And now I have been able to see the hope that I may meet my brother again... I now know it was not all for nothing!" Wild tells us.

"I'm sure master would crap his pants if he saw you~" Ban teases

"If he wore pants" Ayano comments

Wild starts to sing a very questionable song about his little brother.

"You're a good big brother, Wild" Meliodas says sadly

"Meli.." Ayano holds his hand

"Ohhh! Do you have a little brother as well, Sir Meliodas?" Wild asks.

"When Wild was talking about Master... That was the first time I've ever seen you make that face... Your little brother... If I recall, was Zeldris?" Ban questions

"mhm" Ayano nods "Zeli is Meli's little brother"

"Now that you mention it, I've never properly told you about it," Meliodas says and Ban tries to tell him not to if he doesn't want to "That's not it. It's just... Neither an interesting story nor a story worth hearing" Meliodas starts "I have two little brothers... Zeldris and Estarossa."

"Esta.. what?!" Ban questions, "You mean that goated guy that killed you once?!"

"Yeah, he's the middle brother," Meliodas explains.

"H-Hang on a second! He doesn't look like your brother in the least! His face is nothing like yours!" Ban says "Anyway, sorry for interrupting your story.. Please continue."

 "I was once hailed as the Commanders of the Ten Commandments and called the candidate for the next Demon King... and to be honest, it's not like I completely hated it... No matter how foolish I thought that war with the goddess clan was, as the leader of the Demon Clan" Meliodas explains "I spent day and night in battle and Zeldris, idolized that version of me. You could almost call him honest and sincere to a fault. 

He learned how to fight from me and continued to bring down his sword for the sake of the Demon Clan. To be honest, I was never able to comprehend why he was so desperate and worked so hard. It was around that time that I met Ayano.. 

And my entire world was turned around, I was still cold and still considered the titles but I finally felt the feeling of wanting to protect someone precious to me. I finally understood my little brother because he had already had one... Someone precious to him whom he wanted to protect..

Amongst most of the Demon Clan who battled the Goddess Clan and other races without much of any reason... Zeldris sought to fight as a cruel, coldhearted executioner in order to protect his beloved" Meliodas continues "Meanwhile, I swore to put an end to the fruitless, meaningless war together with Elizabeth and betrayed the Demon Clan. 

When Ayano found out it was chaos in our room, unlike me she despised the goddess clan for turning their back on her. Then, without knowing it would be the impetus that caused the Holy War... The unexpected betrayal of the commander the Ten Commandments caused a serious strain.

The vampire sect that disapproved of being subservient to the Demon King aimed to rebel but their rebellion failed and as a lesson to the vampire sect, he ordered his executioner Zeldris, to kill his beloved.. by his own hand"

"I can't even begin to imagine just how much he suffered at that moment.. I could never imagine killing Ayano, I don't know what i'd do without her" Meliodas's grip on Ayano's hand tightened "When he needed me there the most, I wasn't by his side, and I couldn't do anything for him," He turns to Ban and Wild "And my brother's most precious thing was taken away, pretty pointless story, isn't it?"

"It's not pointless at all," Ban says

Ayano hugs Meliodas's arm.

"Well from that day on Zeldris has hated me, and he sought after to take Ayano from me" Meliodas rubs the back of his neck "as revenge I guess, thankfully my little goddess only loves me"

"So then... What about your other brother?" Wild asks

"I'll save that story for another time..." Meliodas grins

"Something about Estarossa isn't right" Ayano says "I've never really liked him"

Meliodas freezes and holds his head "What is this? Something's wrong... My memories of Estarossa are..." Meliodas starts, "W...Why... Why can't I?"

Ayano holds her head "I-I can't either"

"Have you both noticed as well?" A dark voice speaks "Like me, you are unable to remember anything"

"There's no mistaking it.. It's him!" Wild shouts

"You truly are just so effeminate... So girly it makes me sick! As I thought, my son has no need of your existence.. emotions" " The voice spoke

They all look up to see a giant man appear looking down at them.

"...the demon king"
