Gowther and Meliodas sat at a table talking while Ban and Ayano continued to drink while King drank a bit moderately.

"Look here Ayano's getting drunk~" Ban teases

"No way" Ayano replies, her face already red from the amount of alcohol

"I can see it" Ban says, he's way more drunk then her

"Am not!" Ayano shouts before chugging another cup

Ban laughs before turning to Meliodas and Gowther who were in there own conversation "Gowther, come over here!" he grabs him "Everyone listen to this! Apparently Gowther here could tell it King by his body odor!" Ban laughs

"That and his framework and tone" Gowther adds calmly

"that's my brother for you" Ayano laughs

The others gather around King and smell him. Ayano just sits at her table laughing at Kings flustered appearance while Meliodas is still deep in thought.

"N-No fair ganging up only on me!" King shouts

"Did I do something wrong?" Gowther asks

"Hell yeah you did!" King shouts "Do something about this awkward situation!"

"...understood" Gowther uses magic on Diane and Ban "Diane, you lie about your 30 foot height, saying it is 29 feet" Diane blushes in embarrassment as Gowther continues "on the subject of your weight-"

Diane punches Gowther "Mean! Mean! Stupid Gowther!" she continues to punch him over and over "I can't believe you' announce a young girl's secret's to the world!"

"I honestly don't think there's much difference between 30 and 29" Meliodas comments

"There is to a girl" Elizabeth says

"There there Di" Ayano comforts Diane when she finally stops hitting Gowther

"As for you Ban" Gowther stands up "twelve years ago, we became completely inebriated while on duty to battle the vampire gang in Edinburgh"

"I remember that" Ayano says

"Right, that time I got so drunk I didn't take part" Ban confirms "I already said I was sorry for that"

"After that, you used Physical Hunt to rob strength from King and Diane, then had a good laugh to yourself as you watched them struggling to fight" Gowther explains and Ban spits out his drink, Gowther takes off his glasses "and after you did one hundred thousand push ups with that stolen strength, you completely crashed out"

"Hmmmm, I was wondering why I couldn't muster up any strength even though I was feeling fine" Diane says suspiciously

"So that explains it" King's chastiefol turns into a bunch of daggers

"that was twelve years ago" Ban defends "don't get your panties in a twist"

Diane grabs him and squeezes him to death in her hand before Ban breaks free.

"Now we're the ones having it hard!" Ban shouts

"understood" Gowther once again uses his magic on King

"W-wait!" King shouts "Stop, Gowther!"

"I regret giving him that power" Ayano mumbles to herself before standing up and patting Gowther's shoulder "Come on brother, can't you see he wants to keep his shameful secrets?"

"Yeah!" King shouts before turning to her "I-I don't have anything shameful!"

"hehe" Meliodas laughs "now, now don't get so upset"

"I will too get upset!" King shouts

"Gowther" Meliodas turns to him "don't go reading people's minds like that, and if you're gonna, read the room"

"Read.." Gowther looks confused "the room?"

"It means to take notice of the mood of everyone" Ayano explains

"Sir Meliodas" Elizabeth walks over

"what's up Elizabeth" Meliodas smiles and turns to her, they begin talking

"Ah.. I see" Gowther looks at his glasses before looking at Ayano "sister, they're broken"

"let me see" Ayano says taking the glasses from him

As Ayano messes with his glasses, Gowther turns and stares at Elizabeth and Meliodas.

"So your highness likes the captain?" Gowther questions and everyone turns to look at him "compared to when interacting with myself and the other members.. your tone is higher and your heart rate quickens" Elizabeth blushes "these are symptoms common of someone in love"

"waaaah!" King shouts "y-y.. you idiot!"

"That was seriously a bad move" Ban says glancing at Ayano

"Read the room!" King shouts "Read it!"

"Hm?" Gowther questions, he turns to Ayano and uses his magic

"Gowther!" Ayano shouts at him

"The Captain and Ayano are still fighting" Gowther says calmly "but they have not annulled their engagement"

"Huh!" the others shout

"AH!" Ayano yells "Gowther how could you tell them that!"

"I thought everyone was well aware" Gowther says as he puts his now fixed glasses back on "you and the captain have been engaged for many years now, I assumed everyone already knew"

"Well I guess their's no hiding it now" Meliodas smiles and puts his arm around Ayano's shoulders "it's true"

"Who gave you permission to touch me?!" Ayano shouts pulling away from him

"Come on honey just forgive me already" Meliodas pouts

"Y-you.." Ayano's face turns red "Captain you idiot!" she runs up the stairs

"Lady Ayano" Elizabeth calls out concerned

Meliodas sighs "I guess she still won't forgive me"

"Wait a minute" Ban walks over to him "you and her, weren't just dating!?"

"You were engaged!" King shouts "why didn't you tell us?!"

"didn't think it was important" Meliodas says calmly

"Sir Meliodas, was your fight really that bad?" Elizabeth asks worriedly

"I guess so" Meliodas replies "I don't really remember"

"Seriously?!" Hawk shouts "I can't believe you!"

"Look it was many years ago" Meliodas turns serious "besides, if it's her, I'll wait as long as I have to until she forgives me"

Elizabeth smiles "I'm sure you two will make up"

"I hope so" Meliodas smiles "until then she's just going to be a bit cranky, but that's my girl" he laughs

Ban stares at Meliodas, well aware that his smile was fake. Ban knew deep inside it was killing Meliodas that Ayano wouldn't forgive him. Ban's been with the two for a long time and seeing them fight for this long was a strange. That fight was much worse then what they heard, it had to be, but what was really said?

The next day the tavern was once again on the move, Diane was walking outside next to Hawk's mom, talking to her. Ban, King, and Gowther sit at the bar while Meliodas stand behind the counter.

"Hey Cap'n.. where are we headed to this time?" Ban asks

"Could it be you've got a lead as to the next member?" King questions

"nope" Meliodas turns to them looking serious "We're gonna sneak into Liones.. and get back my sword"

The three sins and Elizabeth looks surprised.

"Your sword..? You mean the one stolen from you with the dragon hilt?" Ban questions

Ayano walks down the stairs "hm?"

"We can't just leave it in their hands. We may only have 6 members gathered, but with the six of us, the mission should be totally possible!" Meliodas slams his fists on the counter "who's with me?!" 

"Too much bother" Ban leans back "I'll pass"

"It's your own fault it got taken away from you captain" King lays his head on the counter

"It is your responsibility" Gowther agrees

Meliodas pouts and pits his head underneath Ayano's skirt, hugging her legs "comfort me"

"Meliodas!" Ayano blushes, she then sighs and rubs his head "there there"

Elizabeth smiles and Hawk shakes his head. Meliodas retakes his place behind the counter and Ayano sits on top of the counter.

"The sword stolen from Meliodas, or rather it's dragon hilt, is a fragment of a ritual instrument called the Coffin of Eternal Darkness" Ayano explains

"You called me Meliodas instead of captain" Meliodas says happily

"yeah yeah" Ayano flicks his forehead before turning back to the other sins "It's an old legend"

"Long ago" Gowther starts "the goddess race, giant clan, fairy folk, and mankind joined forced to create this relief that sealed away the demon race"

"Then.. the Holy Knights really are planning on bringing the Demon Race back?" Elizabeth questions

Diane is listening through the window "If they have your sword, do you think they've already revived the Demon Race?"

"It's a pretty strong seal. I'm sure there will be some kind of sign" Meliodas replies

"Demons would probably be showing up left and right if so" Ayano adds

"The sign!" Hawk shouts shaking "The sign! It's here! I ate too much"

"You just gotta take a dump!" Ban shouts

Ayano laughs

"Hawk, are you alright?" Elizabeth asks concerned

"I have to go release this seal" Hawk starts to walk away "that reminds me.. ugh.. why do they want your sword.. and Elizabeth too?"

"Who knows" Ayano jumps down from the counter and walks over to Elizabeth "whatever the reason, we just gotta keep her safe, no big deal right Lizzy?"

"mhm" Elizabeth smiles

"but I don't.. ugh.. get it" Hawk mutters "what use.. ow.. would she be.. to them?"

"That's simple, she's the final key to lifting the seal"

Everyone quickly looked to see a Holy Knight mage behind Elizabeth.

"Elizabeth!" Meliodas shouts

"damn it" Ayano mumbles

"Get away from her!" Meliodas shouts

Ayano quickly grabs onto Elizabeth as the Mage teleported away.
