A few hours later, the carriage arrives at the town. Elaine looks out the window and smiles, excited to explore and have fun with the others.

" We're here! Vladimir. We're here!" Elaine cheers while looking at Vladimir, sleeping on Mey-Rin's lap.

Vladimir responded with a meow, snuggling against Mey-Rin.

Mey-Rin pets Vladimir and smiles.

" Let's go, eat," Mey-Rin looks at Elaine and Tanaka.

" Okay!" Elaine nodded.

Baldroy got out of the carriage, grabbed the horses' reins, and tied them on the stand, watching the horses eat hay and drink water provided by the town.

Finny jumped, opened the door, and helped Elaine, Mey-Rin, and Tanaka get out of the carriage.

Elaine looked at her surroundings in excitement. It has been a year since she last went to town with her Aunt Angelina and Butler, Grell.

" Young Lady Phantomhive," Mey-Rin calls out with Vladimir in her arms. " We are going to eat here," She points to a nearby restaurant.

Elaine turned and nodded. She walks towards Mey-Rin, grabs her left hand, and walks to the restaurant with her and the others.

Everyone stepped inside, looked at their surroundings, and saw the restaurant filled with people.

" Hello and welcome! How many to your party?" A host greets the group.

Elaine looks and counts. " Five people and a cat!" She looks at the host and smiles.

" Follow me, please," The host turns and escorts the group to a booth.

Elaine sat between Mey-Rin and Tanaka while Baldroy and Finny sat across from them.

" Here are the menus," The host gives the group five menus. " My friend, Andrew, will be your server," He points to a male waiter. " Have a lovely day!" He turns and walks away.

" Hello, Andrew here. What can I get for you?" Andrew asked while pulling out a pen and notebook.

" What do you want to drink?" Mey-Rin turns her gaze to Elaine.

" Orange juice for me and milk for Vladimir," Elaine responded.

Mey-Rin nodded.

Baldroy heard what Elaine wanted and nodded.

" One cup of coffee for me. Black is fine. Two orange juices for the kids," Baldroy points to Elaine and Finny. " An Earl Grey Tea for the lady," He motioned to Mey-Rin. " A Green Tea for the gentleman," He gestured to Tanaka. " And a bowl of milk for the cat," He looks at Vladimir.

" Got it," Andrew nodded and wrote the orders down. " I'll be back with your drinks," He turns and walks away.

Elaine kicks her little feet, waiting for their drinks to arrive. She glanced at Vladimir and smiled when she saw her cat sleeping peacefully on Mey-Rin's lap.

" Mey-Rin. Vladimir likes you," Elaine giggles.

Mey-Rin looked at Vladimir and smiled.

" Happy to know he likes me. Long ago, I used to have a cat like him. Sadly, he passed away," Mey-Rin murmured.

Elaine comforts Mey-Rin by hugging her arm, causing the older female to smile.

Vladimir wakes up, meowed, and licks Mey-Rin's gloved hand. His orange eyes briefly stared at everyone before closing and returning to sleep.

Andrew comes back with the drinks and sets it in front of them. He pulls out his pen and notebook and looks at everyone.

" What would you all like to eat?" Andrew asked.

" What do you want to eat, Elaine?" Baldroy looks at Elaine.

" I want strawberry pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. Oh! And some fruit on the side," Elaine beamed.

Baldroy looked at Andrew, who nodded and wrote Elaine's order on the notebook.

After Andrew got Elaine's order, the adults and Finny told him theirs. He turns and walks away so that the chefs can prepare their breakfast.

" Baldy," Elaine takes a sip of her orange juice.

" Hm?" Baldroy raised an eyebrow while sipping his coffee.

" What can you tell me about America?" Elaine asked, looking curious since she dreams of traveling the world when she grows up.

Baldroy's blue-green eyes blinked, seeing everyone looking at him.

" Well. America is a massive country," Baldroy rubbed his chin.

Elaine's deep blue eyes widened and sparkled.

" Bigger than England?" Elaine asked, looking at Baldroy in awe.

" Yup," Baldroy grinned, finding Elaine's excitement adorable.

" It's such a vast country. So many trees, mountains, fields, lakes, rivers, flowers," Baldroy nodded, feeling proud to be American.

" When I grow up, can you take me to America?" Elaine asked.

Baldroy's blue-green eyes widened, looking at Elaine with mixed emotions since he didn't expect the young female to ask him that question.

Baldroy's gaze softened.

" Sure. I'll take you there someday when you become a Lady," Baldroy reassured.

" I want to go there too, Baldroy! Take me there too!" Finny begged.

Baldroy annoyingly rolled his blue-green eyes.

" Alright. Alright. I'll take you there too. Stop begging," Baldroy muttered.

" Yay!" Finny cheers.

Elaine giggled.

Tanaka and Mey-Rin sipped their teas and smiled at the others.

Andrew returns with their meals and puts the plates in front of them. He excused himself and walked away to tend to the other customers.

Mey-Rin grabs the bowl of milk and puts it on the floor so that Vladimir can drink.

Vladimir wakes up from his slumber, gets off Mey-Rin, stands beside the bowl, and stares curiously at the milk. He leans down and begins to drink the milk, meowing in bliss.

Everyone grabs their forks and starts to eat their breakfast. The group converses while they eat, enjoying each other's company.

Thirty minutes later, everyone finished eating their breakfast. Andrew returns to their table, and Tanaka pulls out the black bag, takes out the right amount of money, and gives it to the younger male.

" Thank you for coming here, and have a lovely day!" Andrew waves goodbye, watching the group leave the restaurant.

" Where are we going next?" Finny asked, stepping out of the restaurant.

Elaine opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she saw Vladimir jump out of her grasp and run away.

" Vladimir!" Elaine shouts and runs after Vladimir.

" Young Lady Phantomhive!" Finny shouts, seeing Elaine run.

Mey-Rin shakes her head and sighs.

" I am going to skin that cat when we get home," Baldroy mutters bitterly.

" Elaine and Sebastian will hurt you if you ever think about hurting that cat," Mey-Rin glanced at Baldroy.

" Figure of speech," Baldroy sarcastically responded.

" We must go since Young Lady Phantomhive is out of sight," Tanaka remarked, walking away from the group.

" Wait for us!" Baldroy shouts and begins to follow Tanaka, with Mey-Rin and Finny following him.

Elaine runs through the crowd, apologizing to people when she bumps into them. Her deep blue eyes stared intently at Vladimir since she didn't want to lose sight of him.

" Vladimir! Come back!" Elaine shouts. Her deep blue eyes blinked when she saw Vladimir turn to the right and run into an alleyway.

Elaine turns to the right and follows Vladimir into the alleyway. She looked forward and saw dogs and cats looking at them curiously.

Vladimir runs out of the alleyway and heads towards a shop called Undertaker. The cat goes on his two feet, scratches the door with his two front paws, and mysteriously opens the door.

" Vladimir!" Elaine shouts, running out of the alleyway. She looked forward and saw Vladimir entering the mysterious store.

Elaine's deep blue eyes blinked, watching the door close. She looked at her surroundings, seeing no one. She slowly approaches the mysterious store. She stops walking, lifts her head to stare at the sign, and reads it.

" Un-der-ta-ker," Elaine sounds it out.

Tanaka and the others reached the alleyway and saw Elaine on the other side.

" Young Lady Phantomhive!" The group shouts. However, Elaine couldn't hear them since they were far away.

Elaine continues to walk toward the mysterious store. She grabs the door handle and opens the door. She poked her head inside, and her deep blue eyes blinked.

" Hello?" Elaine calls out, hearing no response. She steps inside the mysterious store, and the door closes behind her, causing her to get surrounded by darkness.

Elaine looked at her surroundings, feeling scared since the mysterious store had many caskets and other stuff for the dead.

" Vladimir. Where are you?" Elaine softly calls out.

" Kukukuku. And where did you come from?" A masculine voice grabs Elaine's attention.

Elaine immediately runs towards a nearby shelf. She stands behind it and slowly leans to the left, seeing a tall man with long silver hair, wearing all black, holding Vladimir in his arms.

Vladimir looks at the man and meows at him. His nose twitches, smelling Elaine. He jumps from the man's grasp and runs towards the young female.

The silver-haired man tilts his head when he sees Vladimir run. He turned and saw the cat run towards a little girl with long wavy strawberry-blonde hair and deep blue eyes that looked eerily familiar to him.

" Vladimir!" Elaine grabs Vladimir and holds the cat close to her.

" Vladimir?" The silver-haired man raises an eyebrow and approaches Elaine.

Elaine lifted her head, and her deep blue eyes blinked when she saw vivid green eyes stare at her curiously.

" And who are you?" The silver-haired man asked Elaine.

Elaine hugs Vladimir tightly and looks at the silver-haired male warily.

" My name-My name is Elaine Phantomhive," Elaine introduced herself.

The silver-haired man's vivid green eyes blinked, staring at Elaine with mixed emotions when he heard her name.

" E-laine Phan-tom-hive?" The silver-haired man called out.

Elaine nodded.

" Who are you?" Elaine asked.

The silver-haired man looked at his surroundings, seeing no one. He looks back at Elaine.

" Aiden," The silver-haired man speaks.

" My name is Aiden," The silver-haired man introduced himself.

Elaine's deep blue eyes intently stared at Aiden's vivid green eyes.

" Like Fire?" Elaine asked, looking at Aiden curiously.

" Yes. Like Fire," Aiden smiled.

" You have a pretty name," Elaine smiled.

" You as well, Little Light," Aiden nodded.

Elaine opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she heard the door open. She, Aiden, and Vladimir turned to see Tanaka, Baldroy, Mey-Rin, and Finny standing outside the mysterious store and staring at them.
