It has been 2 months since Branch had gotten his stitches. Once he had hit the one month mark, the doctor had assumed that he would not make it, but Poppy did not give up. She begged Doc to keep taking care of Branch and the doctor could not say no to his queen. So he kept going.

Once Branch had been unconscious for a month and a half, he started to experience severe seizures in his sleep. It happened every few days or so and Doc had tried to convince Poppy the Branch wasn't going to make it. But Poppy still ordered him to not give up hope. So he kept going.

After 2 months, there was no sign of Branch waking up so Doc called Queen Poppy to tell her the bad news. Once Poppy gotten over, Doc told her what he thought was going to happen, well rather what wasn't going to happen. Poppy has tried so many to times to convince Doc that Branch was going to make it. And she succeeded. But this time, Poppy seemed to have lost hope.

And she gave in.

Until she heard a gasp.

Branch shot up from his unconscious state and took a deep breath before going into a coughing fit. "Branch! You're awake! Oh my goodness, I was so worried!" Poppy said with happiness and excitement as she went over to Branch with a glass of water. She gently but firmly hugged her husband. After a while. Poppy released the hug and turned around to the doctor with a smirk on her face.

He sighed nodded. "I'm sorry for doubting you, Queen Poppy." Doc apologised while bowing. "I will never dare do it again." Poppy smiled.

"Apology accepted."
