Branch slowly rose to his feet. He stumbled a bit so he leaned onto a wall. "..uughh.." He groaned. Branch put a hand on his forehead. He had an insane headache. "I'll kill him... You hear that? I'll kill you!" He said, knowing the demon could hear him. He looked around the room as he heard low laughter. He couldn't see anything and that's what made him go crazy. 

"Oh, I don't think so.." And there he was. The dark shadowy figure that has been haunting him for years was in front of him once more. To Branch, it had seemed that the spirit had grown twice in size. He stared up at the monster in fear, but tried not to show it. But it was hard, considering how weak he was. 

"You see..." The monster continued, "If you want to kill me, you'll have to kill yourself..." Branch gasped. "No..." He looked at the ground in confusion. He didn't know what to do. 

"It doesn't really matter what you do..." Demon said capturing Branch's attention. Branch looked up towards the shadow with lost hope in his eyes. "You kill me yourself...oooor you don't do anything and I keep draining you of your energy...you die either way..." He spoke as he surrounded Branch. "Can't do anything but say your goodbyes." 

With Poppy

Poppy skipped around the kingdom while waving at all the trolls. She visited the preschool and read stories to the trollings, she helped the builders, she even made a scrapbook with her friends. After all the activities, she decided to go back and check on Branch. 

She walked up to the front door and heard voices, so she stopped to listen "-what you do...You kill me yourself or you don't do anything and I keep draining you of your energy...you die either way..." Poppy gasped at the statement she heard. Who was talking to Branch? And what were they talking about? She continued to listen, "Can't do anything but say your goodbyes." 

That's it, Poppy tried to open the door but it was locked. "Branch?! Branch, let me in!" She kept trying to open the door but it wouldn't budge. "Come on, Branch!" Poppy yelled frantically. 

Back inside the House

"Poppy! Stay outside!" Branch yelled, only wanting to protect her. He faced the demon who had an evil smirk placed on his face. "I think I'm gonna go have some fun." He said with venom dripping off every word. But before he could do anything, Poppy bashed the door down with one of the chairs on the outside deck. She ran inside and saw the two looking at her. 

She looked at Branch who seemed fine but a little bit...grey. Then she looked over to the other...guy? "Hello Poppy..." The Demon spoke groggily. He slowly got closer to Poppy as she backed away. Meanwhile, Branch looked around the room trying to find something that could help. He looked over to the table and found a knife. He grabbed it and faced the shadow who was getting way to close to Poppy, his Poppy.

"I'm going to kill you..." He said with a low raspy voice. Demon slowly turned back to Branch while saying/laughing, "No you won't! The only way you could do that is to-" He was cut off by the feeling of being stabbed in the stomach. 

The last thing that could be heard was the screaming of Poppy's voice.

"BRANCH!"
