Continuing the flashback.....

"Are you crazy?" Was the first thing Bobby, the best friend of Robert said when he saw Robert with Shalu in his hand. "What are you doing at this night time Robert? Shalini might get cold." He said. "I-i need you to help me." Robert stutter while crying still. A man crying? Very rare but he didn't feel embarrassed that time. He felt his heart broken. So broken mess. He can't think straight right now. "What happened Robert? Tell me." Bobby said with full sympathy which Robert wouldn't could have liked if he was thinking straight. He don't care about anything right now. He need release. Release from all of this. Lilly, whom is Bobby's wife, came into the view. "Shalini dear, some inside." She said trying to distract the small child. She run into Lilly's arms. "Now come in." Bobby said to Robert who nodded weakly.

"No no you're lying. Please tell me it's April fool prank." Bobby said. Robert said everything to Bobby and now, Bobby is taking his time to recovery from the shocked news. "I'm serious and it's not April. It's September." Robert mumble. Those sassy remark of his is no more alive. It's dead. He's dead. His heart is dead. "And you asked me help. What would that be?" Bobby asked. "I want you take care of my daughter. I want you to have her. Please." Robert begged literally on his knees. A gasp was heard from the stairs. They both turn around to see Lilly. "I mean. I would I love to have Shalini. She's literally so polite for her age. She's my sweetheart but what if she ask for you?" Lilly asked. "Tell her that her father left her." He smiled weakly, getting up. "It's a dick more Robert. Are you leaving your 5 years old daughter just like that for your wife whom cheated on you?" Bobby said in a hope to convince Robert but seems like nothing is success. Robert just shook his head. "I can't be a good husband, how can I be a good father? I can't give her everything she want but you can do that. No one can take care of my Shalu like you guys do." He said weakly looking into Bobby's eyes. All Bobby could see was a broken man with broken piece of heart begging him to take his daughter. "Since we don't have a child, we will take Shalini as our daughter. Even if gonna have a child in the future, Shalin- Shalu will be our first child." Lilly said promising Robert. He smiled weakly and look at Bobby who just nodded weakly. "Where's she?" Robert asked. "Sleeping" Lilly replied. "I love you my child." He whisper walking out of the door, not looking back leaving a sleeping child who don't have a single idea that she will not meet her father.

(Dadadalala the end of the flashback. We're still at Third Person POV)

"What..." Ash trailed off not knowing what to say. "Yeah and Ethan born after a while and Lilly died." Shalu said. "Why?" Michael asked. "Cancer is a bitch." Shalu said and the boys made a "I understand" face. "He's now 5 years old." Shalu said. I always go at night to see him. He's one hell of cute sleeper." She said making Ashton giggle. "You're so cute." He giggle while pinching Shalu cheek. The other  watching with a smirk. "Did you just pinched my cheek?" Shalu asked smirking. "I uh I'm sorry." Ash said trying to apologize. "No no it's okay." She smile. "Wait, how's Bobby then?" Luke asked which made me smile. "Bobby is very responsible dad. He now own a cafe and you know? Inside the cafe, there's a painting of us. Our family. Me, Ethan, Lilly and Bobby." She smiled. "You call them by name?" Micahel asked. "No sometimes yeah but not all the time. When I feel like it, I call them by their name." She answered. "WE HAVE REACHED OUR DESTINY!" The tour bus driver yelled from the front. "Yell again and I will rip your heart out." Shalu said walking out with her suitcase while others laughing behind her leaving a horrified looking bus driver behind.
