Once the tour was over it was pretty late so it was time for dinner. Percy and Annabeth led us to the mess hall and led us to our tables. Katelyn, Nicole, Vylad, Travis, and Kawaii~Chan all had to sit at a different table according to which God or goddess claimed them. Since Garroth, Laurence, Zane and I weren't claimed we had to sit at the Hermes table where everyone who either was a child of Hermes or wasn't claimed sat. Percy and Annabeth went to their respective tables and sat down. I noticed that some only had one person at each table like the one were Percy sat and another one with someone who looked exactly like Garroth, but had a scar on his lip.

Our counselors Travis and Connor told us how the cups work. All we had to do was tell them what we wanted to drink and it would appear, nonalcoholic obviously. "Strawberry lemonade.", I whispered to mine and sure enough the recognizable pink liquid appeared into my cup. Then these nymphs came around and gave us plates with food. I was about to start eating when everyone had to stand up. They had us raise our cups and say something. "To the gods!", we all shouted and everyone sat down again. I noticed people table by table heading up to a fire thing and putting a portion of their food in it. It was our turn to go up and our counselors told us to put in the best part. I put in the best slice of roast beef and the two freshest strawberries and prayed that my dad would send me a signal whoever he is.

Once dinner ended our counselors led us to the Hermes cabin and told us to find a spot somewhere. It was kind of crowded in there, but with everyone in there it would be easy to keep warm. I found a spot in the corner and dozed off to sleep.

That night I dreamt of three men in togas fighting each other. Once had a black toga, one had a green toga, and another had a blue toga. They all seemed to be fighting about something and I tried to stop them from fighting but I was too slow and I woke up. Time for my first day at camp and maybe my dad will claim me.
