Livy

Percy directed my mother to pull off the road beside some woods. Mum stopped the car and killed the engine, before they both turned to look at me, sat in the back seat. 

"Where're going to have to leave you here Grace," Percy sounded genuinely apologetic when he said this, almost as if he knew where our minds were about to jump.

"You really think that I'm going to let you take my daughter off into the woods with a random stranger?" Mum raised her eyebrows, "I'm not saying that I don't believe your story, but I am saying that I've seen lots of movies and that I'm not letting you take Livy to this Camp unless I'm sure that you're not bullshitting."

"Mortals can't enter the camp, said Percy, "I can get Chiron to come and explain everything to you if you want."

"Who's Chiron?" I asked.

"He's a centaur, he pretty much runs the camp," Percy explained, "how about this? Grace, you come to the camp border with us, I can call ahead and get Chiron to meet us there, and he'll explain everything, and I can get someone to show Olivia around camp."

Mum pursed her lips. I could see her considering Percy's offer, she didn't seem to find anything that could go wrong with it because she nodded, "okay, that sounds less serial-killer-like."

"Okay, if we're all happy, then can we get moving towards camp then?" Percy unbuckled his seatbelt and climbed out of the car, "monsters lurk outside the borders."

Mum and I hurried to climb out of the car, shutting the doors behind us, and starting after Percy, who had already begun to stride off into the woods. He stopped not too far into the woods, where the dappled sunlight that shone through the branches was creating an array of colours, almost like a rainbow.

"Oh Fleecy do me a solid and show me Annabeth Jackson at Camp Halfblood," Percy murmured as he flipped a strange gold coin towards the rainbow. It disappeared and in its place a shimmering screen appeared, the screen showed a woman with blonde hair, a tanned complexion and stormy grey eyes.

"Annabeth," Percy smiled.

"Percy?" The woman smiled back, "What's up?"

"I'm almost back to camp, can you get S.T and Chiron to meet us at the border?" Percy asked.

"Of course Seaweed Brain, I'll see you in a few." The woman smiled again, before waving her hand across the screen, which made it disappear.

Percy started off walking again, with Mum and I following closely behind him.

"What the hell was that?" I asked.

"That was my wife Annabeth," said Percy.

"I mean, what was that screen-thingy!"

"That was an Iris Message," Percy explained, "if demigods use phones it's like setting off a beacon to all the monsters for miles, so instead we use IMs to communicate, I guess it's a bit like a godly facetime."

"Huh," I went back to looking at my feet in an attempt to stop myself tripping and dramatically falling on my face, which wouldn't be a very good way to start off my time at this strange camp.

It didn't take long for us to emerge on the crest of a hill, where three people stood waiting for us. The first was the same woman who Percy had IMed earlier, she had pulled her curly blonde hair back into a ponytail, and had a smile on her face. The second was an older man who was in a wheelchair, he looked like a teacher with his tweed jacket with elbow pads and his beard. The final person was a girl, she was around my age, 13 or 14, and she had wavy brown-blonde hair and green eyes that were a very similar shade to Percy's, her facial features seemed to resemble Annabeth, which led me to believe that she may be their daughter, she was very pretty, strikingly so, the exact right balance of her parents.

Percy clapped the man on the back as if greeting an old friend, he kissed Annabeth's cheek and ruffled the girl's hair.

"Olvia, Grace, this is my wife Annabeth, My daughter Sally Thalia and Chiron. Guys this is Olivia and her mother Grace," Percy introduced everyone.

"I thought you said that Chiron was a centaur," I said, "aren't they supposed to have horse legs?"

Chiron chuckled as if he had heard this a thousand times, "this wheelchair is enchanted, it contains my horse legs and enables me to move among mortals." Chiron explained, "When introducing myself to people I find that my true form is somewhat intimidating."

"I think that you should flaunt it," Percy's daughter Sally Thalia spoke up.

"Yes, well," Chiron smiled, "we have much to discuss. ST why don't you show Olivia here around camp, whilst your parents and I talk to her mother."
