Eternalia

Councillor Emery looked around at the seated councilors. He had a grim look on his face. The words he was about to speak was something he'd hoped he'd never be talking about again.

"It seems we have... a situation." He didn't exactly know how to address the situation without worrying people. The council knew about many things they'd hid from the people. It was better to hide thing than cause a panic.

He looked around, trying to find a way to speak without causing a panic. Councillor Bronte, though, apparently couldn't keep his mouth shut.

"It seems the ancient gods of Greece are rising again. They are getting restless. Vespera has allied herself with them. Many have already changed sides. Hecate, Janus, Nemesis, Nike, and who knows how many more."

Gasps echoed across the room.

Councillor Bronte paused to let the information settle, and then continued. "What we did to them decades ago would be enough for them to take out revenge on all the lost cities. We fear with Vespera, and a few of our own on their side, they'll be unstoppable."

Councillor Clarette, though, asked the obvious question everyone was thinking. "How would Vespera have found out about the gods? We've kept this information secret for decades."

That's what Emery had been thinking too. "Yes. I thought about that. There is only one way they could have gotten this information. Fintan wouldn't have told them because he was captured when Vespera was set free. The only other possible explanation, we have a spy among us."

More gasping. Whispers rose. People started looking around the room at each other for possible suspects. Only thing was, who would be working for the Neverseen? And why? They'd all been working on the council for a long time, and had proven their loyalty towards the lost cities.

None seemed like a possible suspect. But someone had to be giving information to the Neverseen.

Was there possibly a Neverseen spy among them? And if so, who was the 13th person? And where were they hiding?

"There is another matter I'd like to discuss." Emery said, looking at Bronte like, I swear if you open your mouth one more time- "Fintan has gone missing. And no one knew his whereabouts except those on the council, and Sophie foster and Marcella Redek. Either those two gave the location to the Neverseen, or," he looked around at everyone or see their expressions. One slight change would indicate they knew something. "It is proof that one among us is an imposter."

Olympus

"Silence!" Zeus thundered. All the gods stopped talking and the whole room went quiet.

"There has been some rumors that the lost civilization of the elves still exist. It's not true." He stopped and looked around at everyone. His eyes stopped on Poseidon, to see how he would react. No expression.

He continued. "Decades ago the elves disappeared from this world, no one has heard from them since. Poseidon scoured the sea for any signs of Atlantis, none were found. (Yeah I know according to the myths Poseidon lives in Atlantis, but it's a different Atlantis here okay?) We searched long and hard for any signs, but they disappeared decades ago."

Zeus had been getting tired of the rumors. The minor god plotting to overthrow him? Yeah right. They'd tried that before and how had that gone? Everyone fears me, he told himself. No one would dare step out of line.

But Poseidon knew something. He knew that. There was something Poseidon wouldn't tell him, that was the main reason he'd called this meeting. To see if he would get a reaction out of the sea god.

Nothing though. Either Poseidon was a great actor or Zeus's suspicions were false.

But every time the rumors were even mentioned in front of him, he started acting weird. Zeus knew something was up.

Oh well. He'd just have to confront him later.

Yeah I know first chapter's a bit crappy it'll get better soon tho :)
