Narrated Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha): The prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said,"Do good deeds properly,sincerely and moderately,and receive good news because one's good deeds will not make him enter paradise." They asked, "Even you,O messenger of Allah?" He said, "Even I,unless and until Allah protects or covers me with pardon and He mercy." (Sahih Al- Bukhari, vol. 8, Hadith No.474).

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (Radi Allahu anhu): Allah's messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, Nuh will be called on the Day of Reckoning and he will say, 'Labbaik and Sa'daik,(I respond to your call and am obedient to your orders) O my Lord! Allah will say, 'Did you convey our message of Islamic monotheism?' Nuh will say, 'Yes'. His nation will then be asked, 'Did he convey our message of Islamic monotheism to you?' They will say, No Warner came to us.' Then Allah will say to Nuh, 'Who will bear witness in your favour?' He will say, 'Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and his followers.' So they i.e the Muslims will testify that he conveyed the message-and the messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) will be a witness over you,and that is what is meant by the Statement of Allah Azza Wa jallah: We made you true Muslims-real believers of Islamic monotheism, true followers of prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and his sunnah a just and the best nation that you be witnesses over mankind and the messenger will be a witness over you." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, vol.6,Hadith no.14)

Narrated 'Abdullah (Radi Allahu anhu): The prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Who among you considers the wealth of his heirs dearer to him than his own wealth?" They replied, "O Allah's messenger! There is none among us but loves his own wealth more." The prophet said,"So his wealth is whatever he spends in Allah's cause,during his life on good deeds while the wealth of His heirs is whatever he leaves after his death."
