AKANSHA POV:

"Don't you listen to my warnings? ",Jacqueline sneered.

"And why should I listen to your useless warnings? "

"You..?! ",she glared angrily.

"Me---what? ",I asked her with a bright smile appearing on my lips.

"When are you going to come out of your imaginary world? "

"Parth is just using you for his entertainment. He will throw you out soon", Jacqueline smirked.

"Did you ask Parth whether he bunked the classes for me? Did you ask Parth whether he took me to his house? Did you ask whether he fucked me that day? ",Jacqueline asked with a smirk on her face.

For one moment, my heartbeat rate increased, hearing her words. What if? What if Parth lied to me? What if Pa---No!!

"For your kind notice, I am playing with Parth's feelings. It's not the other way around. I didn't get much attention from other students, so I just decided to make Parth fall for me to get popular status. And it was too simple and easy ",I said sarcastically.

Jacqueline looked dumbfounded which made me laugh loudly.

"You seriously thought that I was speaking the truth, didn't you? "

"You are such a dumb! Like this many rumors may come. That doesn't mean Parth is playing with me. You don't know the real Parth. Only I do! And his real friends know too. And to answer your question, Parth explained everything to me. And I have no reason to share his words with you. You were thrown out of the house when you tried to come close to him. Am I right? ",I asked her.

She didn't speak a word but glared at me.

"I love Parth and I believe him. I trust him. You can't even break an inch of my relationship with Parth. And don't keep on blabbering and spreading false rumors. I know that whatever I say won't change your sick-minded brain. But, I would like to make my point clear. Stay the fuck away from me and Parth ",I sneered.

"You will regret your words soon Akansha ",Jacqueline shouted when I walked away from her.

"Is that so? ",I asked her back. "But I don't think so ",I said with a big grin on my face and walked towards my next class.

"Where did you go Kansha? ",Parth asked as soon as I sat beside him.

"I was just stuck with my locker. And it was a little crowded to come here ",I said with a small smile playing on my lips. I need not make you worry about Jacqueline's warning! I know for sure that you will confront her. And it will cause a big problem. And you might even get suspended because of this issue. I guess I should let this thing slide away this time. If she speaks again, I will make her learn a different way; my favorite way; the way where she will end up with a black eye and few damages on her body. She is even in the bad list of hurting my best friend Kryz and Andy too. Everything has a limit. If she crosses it, she will definitely face the other side of me, the evil one.

"So, where is my hello kiss? ",Parth asked suddenly, making me come out from my thoughts.

"Parthu!! We are in public ",I said looking back at the students.

"So what? It's not a crime to kiss my girlfriend. Are there any rules like I should not kiss my girlfriend ? ",Parth asked innocently.

"Parthu ",I groaned. But then a thought came to my mind.

I then took his hands and kissed softly on the back of his hand. "Hello Parthu ",I said with a chuckle.

"Hey! This is not fair. I need a proper hello ki--",but he stopped when Mr. John entered the class.

"This is not over ",Parth whispered. I just stuck my tongue out at him childishly.

"I know that I haven't announced the project results. But since you all have done greatly, it's taking much more time to evaluate every project. So, I am telling you the sad news that I will be talking about the result next year ",Mr. John said.

Next year? I don't know whether I will be continuing here next year. But, for Parth, maybe I can finish my college here with my family's permission. I thought that Mr. John would announce the result today. That's the only reason why Parth and I decided not to bunk this class. But it seems the plan has backfired.

"I know that you have the prom in two days. But the exams start next week. So, don't spend too much time on the prom. Prepare well for your exams too ",Mr. John advised.

At that time, Parth took my hands in his and kept drawing circles randomly on my hand making me feel a little ticklish. I tried to remove my hand but held it firmly and continued drawing small circles on my hand.

How can Jacqueline accuse him of using me? Can't they see how true he is to me? Don't people say that one's eyes sparkle when they see their loved one? Did anyone notice how Parth looks at me? I don't know why the person who loves can't find anything. I have read many stories of how except the hero and heroine, everyone else knows that they are in love. The hero and heroine notices and helps in other's love. But when it comes to their own love, she or he is dumb. Is this considered normal? I have no idea.

The prom day,

"I am so nervous Kryz ",I said, biting my nails.

"What are you afraid of? ",Kryz asked me again.

"Will I look so desperate if I ask him to take the next step in the relationship with me tonight after the prom? "

"He will be on cloud-nine hearing it. And he must be very, very lucky to take your virginity. Don't overthink ",Kryz said openly, making my mouth agape.

"Um--- I don't know ",I said flushed.

"Am I looking beautiful? ",I asked her again, looking at my reflection in the mirror.

"Yes baby girl! You look so divine and beautiful. Parth will be mesmerized by your beauty ",she cheered me.

I am very much excited. What will be Parth's expression when I ask him tonight? I am eagerly waiting for his expression. Speaking of Parth, I didn't see him yesterday. He didn't come to Crescent Academy yesterday. When I called him, he didn't answer the call. So, I left him a voice message and a normal message. He replied to me in the evening when I was thinking of going to his house.

'I am with my father. I am busy now ' ,Parth's reply came.

Oh! It seems he is spending his time with his father. That's great news since I haven't even heard a simple conversation between them.

'Ok. Enjoy Parthu', I replied to him.

But there was no response message from him. I guess he was busy at that time.

Even if he is in a bad mood, I can calm him down. Also, he will be shocked hearing what I am going to say tonight!

I looked at my reflection for one last time in the mirror. Personally, I loved this maroon, long tulle prom dress. It has a deep v neck with a natural waistline and a side slit making it look classy and gorgeous. It's simple yet a beautiful one.

When I asked Parth to twin me wearing a maroon color dress, he felt that it was childish to do so, spoiling my romantic mood. I guess he will be wearing his usual classic black.

I still remember that I wished that my days in college would be peaceful and calm with no dramas. But, as of now, I just wish to face all my struggles and happiness with Parth beside me, supporting me with his love.

"Let's go. We are getting late ",Kryz shouted from the hall, interrupting my train of thoughts.

"Coming Kryz ",I said, wearing my four-height heels. How do girls manage to wear these high heels? This is torture! I hope I don't fall down in front of everyone, embarrassing myself.

Wow! It's mind-blowing. The building they have selected for the prom is really huge and beautiful. The place looks so classy with lights hanging from the ceiling and the whole building is decorated in lights in a grand manner. The music blasted loudly even when we were a little distance from the building.

But the only thing that makes me feel a little scared is these rain clouds on the sky as if it's about to rain any moment! I don't want my prom day to be spoiled because of this rain. It's giving me negative vibes in my heart as if something bad is going to happen. I hope it doesn't rain tonight!

Once entered, the place was fully crowded with people. The dance floor was full too. I noticed two empty stools on the bar. So, I dragged Krystle with me and we both sat down on the chair gulping down the vodka given by the waiter.

"Andy and Parth have arrived ",Kryz shouted near my ears as the music was blasting around.

Andy must have messaged Kryz. At that time, Kryz signaled behind me. So, I turned in that direction, making me shocked.

Parth has worn a maroon blazer with a white shirt and blue pencil-fit jeans. Oh gosh! Didn't Parth say that it was childish to wear the same color? But here, he has worn it for me! He is so sweet!

By then, Andy walked toward Kryz and kissed her. I looked at Parth who was standing beside me. He looked weird today. Why?

"Parthu ",I shouted above the music but Parth answered that he couldn't hear me. So, I took his hands and moved a little far, where the sound was less.

"Are you okay? How did the meeting with your dad go? ",I asked him, causing his face to shrink.

"Was that that bad? ",I asked, gauging his expressions.

"I want to say something to you. "

"Is that so? "

I nodded my head with a smile on my face.

"Even I have something to say. You tell yours first. "

"I ----I decided to take our relationship t--------to the next level ",I whispered shyly.

But since I got no response, I looked up to see him staring at me blankly.

Did I say something stupid? "Parthu ",I called him, which made him come out from his thoughts.

I placed a soft kiss on his lips and then moved a little back. "Are you okay?", I asked him, a little worried.

"Yeah, I am ",Parth answered.

"You said that you wanted to say something. What's that? "

"Um.. there is time for it ",Parth whispered.

"Okay ",I said. I don't know why but I feel some awkward air around me and Parth right now. I shall ask him about it tonight after the prom.

"Shall we dance? ",I asked, extending my hand.

"Why not? ",Parth said and kept his hands on mine and soon we started dancing on the dance floor. His hands were resting on my waist and I kept my hands on his shoulder as the song was a slow dance with a romantic mood. The songs changed from rap to pop to romance to rock to melody. At one point of time, I felt Parth leaning towards me causing me to close my eyes. When Parth's lips were about to touch mine, the music stopped suddenly.

Ugh! Why did the music stop so suddenly? It changed my mood from romance to irritation. Parth would have kissed me just a few seconds before! But that all went to vain.

"Hello guys! Sorry for the disturbance ",Jacqueline came into view from a distance.

So, the reason why music stopped is Jacqueline. How does she always manage to destroy my mood?

"Hey Kanz ",Chloe called from a distance.

"Hey Chloe! You look beautiful ",I complimented her.

"Thanks Kanz. You look gorgeous. "

Harry walked and came towards us. "Hey Handsome! ",I called as I saw Harry.

He just laughed and hugged me. "Hey Beautiful! ",Harry said. "But I don't think I am allowed to say it ",Harry said looking at Parth, making me laugh a little.

"Actually, I and Harry came to bid our farewell for now ",Chloe said.

"It's just that we have planned our own celebration too ",Harry said.

"Aww sweet! That's cool! A private celebration! Enjoy ",I exclaimed happily.

"See you then , Parth ",Harry said.

"Sure man ",Parth said, shaking his hands.

Soon they both walked off. Where is Andy and Kryz? They are nowhere around! They are enjoying their time. But, here Parth is weird today! When he was about to kiss me, it too was stopped by that bitch's words. Ugh!

She is sharing some pics of college days. "Here comes the most important one of all! ",Jacqueline shouted with an evil glint in her eyes when she noticed me.

What is she up to? But the next second, my whole froze seeing the video of me and Parth being close with each other.

This looks like the day when I confessed my feelings with Parth. But---- but how did she take a video of us? It's highly impossible! This cunning bitch! She dared to sneak cameras in Parth's house and make a video out of it! She has crossed all the limits today!

"You Bitch!!! ",I shouted and walked towards her and slapped her, right on her face. I then threw the projector which was screening the video.

"I didn't think that you would go so low to tarnish one's reputation. You are the cheapest, manipulative, disgusting venom I have ever seen in my life ",I said with a disgusting look on my face.

My anger is trying to come out but I try my best to control it but there is nothing that can stop it.

I grabbed her hair hard and pulled her, making the crowd gasp in shock. "How dare you do such a cheap thing? "

I expected Jacqueline to shout and throw ugly words towards me, but she instead laughed loudly like a maniac.

"Do you really think that this video was recorded by me? "

What is she speaking about?

"What? Can't you speak now? ",she asked with a smug smirk on her face.

"What bullshit are you trying to spin? "

"Oh poor Akansha! You are so naive ",she said with a fake pity tone.

"Didn't I warn you a lot of times to save yourself? "

Save Myself?

"Parth was with you just to complete his dare. He started to speak with you just to sleep with you. It was all an act! But you being the dumb, idiotic girl you are, believed him blindly despite my warnings. And the video you saw was proof of Parth sleeping with you. He himself recorded it and gave it to me on that day when I went to his house bunking the classes. You were just a toy to him! You were a time pass to him! You were just a mere task to him! "

No! NOO!! This can't be true. Parth won't ever do that to me! He won't even dream of that! He can't even hurt me a tiny bit! I love him! He loves me too! She is just trying to manipulate me with her cunning words! I won't believe her. She is lying to me!

"Noooooo!!! ",I shouted crazily. "You lying bitch! ",I shouted at her. "If you say those words, do you really think that I will believe you? It's all bullshit! You cunning, manipulative psycho! ",I shouted madly at her.

"Parth! Just tell her the truth. She is really sick in her head to not believe me ",Jacqueline said looking behind me.

Parth?!!! I turned to see Parth standing there with a blank look on his face.

"Parthu ",I called him. "Just say to her that she is lying. I know you, Parth. It must be all her manipulative games. But I swear to you that I didn't believe her words even for a second ",I said, holding his arms.

But Parth turned cold and distant. And then the next moment, he removed my hands from his and pushed me a little.

"Parthu ",I called him a little shocked.

"Stop your drama Akansha. You look like a fool now. "

Am I hearing things right? I think my ear has some dysfunctional problems.

"I started to speak with you as Jacqueline gave me a dare to complete. 'Parth should sleep with Akansha' was the dare ",Parth quoted, making my breath stop.

"I am a man who doesn't back off from challenges. So, I accepted it even though I had no interest in it. The next day, I started speaking with you. You were so plain and boring. I even had to act like I was changing myself. It was just difficult work to do. But I am glad I completed it. You were quite entertaining too. Now, I need not act anymore as you know it now ",Parth said with no emotion on his voice and face.

Tears flowed from my eyes continuously. Is Parth pranking me to check my love for him?

Or is that because of that business he had to finish with Jacqueline? Is making Jacuqeline blackmailing him to say these things?

"Parthu ",I cried.

I held his hands and wept. "Parthu--- I know that you are lying to me. Why are you lying? I think Jacqueline is blackmailing you to say these words. But don't worry Parthu! I won't believe it. I know that you love me like I love you ",I sobbed.

"Love? ",Parth asked in a disgusting way. "I don't do those fucking shits! And even if I love someone, it will be from my status; not from a low status of yours who is doing part-time jobs to make her ends meet. Did you think that I would stoop so low to choose you? ",Parth asked.

His each and every word felt like piercing my heart. Did Parth really start speaking with me to complete the dare? Did Parth act all the time from the start? Was all those fake? Were all the memories I cherished were fake? Did Parth fool me?

I think I am in a very bad dream! If I get up, everything will go the way it was. I know Parth loves me. I felt it with my very own heart. I felt the connection between us. My heart and mind is not betrayed by Parth?

I pinched myself and blinked my eyes repeatedly. I then opened my eyes and looked at the surroundings and was dumbfounded.
