"If the ocean can calm itself, so can you. We are both salt water mixed with air"

23|LEGEND BECOMES REALITY

Gasping as she's on the ground Isolde looks up at Hunter, and her eyes cannot believe what they are seeing. Hunter is not a human being, yet she already knew this. But, that does not mean that she was prepared to know what he is. His tall figure standing in front of her brings fright crashing down on her, with the shivers running down her spine. Gulping she crawls a bit backwards to get away from him and his gaze which the girl has found to be uncomfortable and it holds this power which she does not know but knows she doesn't tend to like. Especially when his eyes are only staring down at her with fury deep inside them

The way that his eyes gaze at her does make her feel as if she is being punished for something, it does match the look that her father would give her whenever she would do something which he did not like. Though, Isolde was always getting herself into trouble and was used to it. However, the look which Hunter gives her and frightening features which he carries does make her afraid. Not that she is about to admit that to anyone, not even herself. Isolde's face hardens to hide the fear she has for this monster like creature which is right in front of her.

Hunter's body is large and tall as he has the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man. A creature that has only existed in stories which none tell anymore to their children for none believe it. That a Minotaur could be alive and real, and right in front of Isolde. While she does not know herself what he is nor would she discover what he is. All she feel sis the fear as she watches into his eyes, which are so dark and frightening that it makes it hard not to shake with fear.

His face is one of the one that a bull would have and yet his eyes resemble something else. Not human though for they have this yellow in them. His irises are not yellow but they are in this deep green which carries yellow in them. His features do not look like they are human at all. Despite him having the body of a man, and his attire is human like. Never has Isolde seen such a thing in her life. If she were not as frightened, she would have been laughing.

The smirk that he gives her as well as his body does make her believe that perhaps he is the Demon that is about to bring her down below. Though, something tells her that wherever he would take her. It would me much worse than the Underworld. Though, what place is that bad that it is even worse than Hell? She doesn't know the answers and would rather not be around to figure it out. Still, Isolde's body is human and it is slowly giving up as she barely has any strength left in her body at all.

Hearing a chuckle behind her, Isolde's head turns to the side to see Dimitri. This time she smirks as she turns to face Hunter. "You should consider getting yourself a new guard. This one does a lousy work at guarding" She speaks to him as in the corners of her eyes she keeps an eye out for Dimitri who stands there with a shocked expression. Hunter lets out a laugh, as if her words had amused him and they did. "Yes, one might say that he does. After all he let a single Princess slip out of his hands" He says.

Even Isolde can see the slight anger in his voice when he speaks. The fact that she was able to escape where Dimitri had not found her would get anyone frustrated. Though, Isolde has been known to anger and frustrate people in the past, so why should she stop now? "Yes. He did. I suppose if you had done it, everything would have been done much quicker" She speaks. Isolde still is sitting on the ground as her body is having a hard time even functioning at the moment. It has been hours since she had eaten anything and longer since she fully rested.

Somehow when she is not in the water, she feels her body weaker than before. As if the water and the ocean had given her strength and assisted her in ways that she will never understand. "That is where you and I agree. Such a surprising thing. Still, I suppose now, I do not need to explain to you what will take place next?" He asks, though even Isolde could tell that it was not a question that she nor anyone were meant to answer for the answer was clear to even her.

Dimitri comes behind her and roughly wraps his hands around her body and pulls her up. The force sends these spikes of pain running through her body but she bites hard down on her own tongue to stop herself from letting out a wince. Once her body is standing he wraps the chain around the wrists where they reopen the flesh wounds that the chain had already created before. Her hardens the chains before he gives her a smirk. Throwing the key to Hunter who looks down at Isolde with the same look of pure fury and frustration as Dimitri begins once again to pull her while he walks.

Isolde's body has not walked even for ten steps before her body gives out and she falls down to the ground in pure exhaustion. This amuses the two that hold her captive. Hunter has not moved from the spot which he has been in this entire time as he lets out a laugh. "I still will never understand that foolish King for his choice for a human bride. The weakness can be seen on her face. You, little girl, will never succeed as a Queen" He tells her but that only makes Isolde told her pale green eyes.

"I am no one's bride and even if I was, it would certainly not be to that man nor any man at all. And just so you know, every being has its own strengths and weaknesses. You carry a couple. I doubt you will be able to hide them for long because once I find out what they are, I shall use them all against you" She speaks. Her anger growing with each word that she speaks and she is clearly not backing down. Despite her body once again on the ground and pain shooting up her entire system.

The Princess watches as the anger in the creature only grows which makes her let out a smirk. Her words had been the truth and she hopes that he could hear that she was speaking the purest truth. Not only about the fact that she will not marry anyone but also the fact that she will fight back against him and use the things that make him weak against him. Despite him being something else and her just a human, she knows that she is not about to back down any time soon.

The fear might be living inside her body along with pain that only tries its hardest to strike her down and take her away into the darkness. Yet Isolde will not let that happen to herself, even knowing that she has no control over whether the darkness takes her away. For some time now there have been black dots dancing across her vision. More and more the more that times passes. Making it clear to even her that she will not be able to stay awake for much longer now.

Hunter moves to her where he stands in front of her. Her head nearly goes all the way back when she looks up at him from the ground. "It is correct that all beings have a weakness. Yours are just too many to count. I could break every bone in your body and leave you to bleed out. Where he would find your rotting body in some days" He says with a chuckle. "It does amaze me at how many ways there are for bringing death to humans. Your species is far too weak" He tells her.

He doesn't frighten her, even if that it is his goal. All the girl does is give him a blank look, hiding how she is finding herself falling into the darkness. Though, she would not allow it to win. The dark haired Princess will fight with all that she has inside her body in order to stay awake. Even if her body is so close to it, and the pain is traveling everywhere inside her. It runs through her blood like never before and is just another obstacle that is in her way, which she will have to fight.

Her chances of fighting all that is trying to strike at her are low, even the girl knows this but she has never been one that sees reason as it is, and rather believes in her own reason. With her body the way that it is, chained and pained she doubts that she will be able to do much but that will never stop her from trying, and to fight. "At least my species has been alive for thousands of years. I doubt there is even another one of you" She speaks to him with anger running smoothly in her voice.

Watching as Hunter's eyes darken, if they even can darken at all. He doesn't speak but even Isolde and she can imagine Dimitri knows that he's trying to hold back on his anger which only makes her smirk. She doesn't know why he would hold back to do whatever he wishes with her, but at least she is not complaining about hum hurting her (which does not count the chains around her wrists). "I believe it is rather clear which is the weak species here. After all, if you die yours would be extinct" The Princess says, highly enjoying this moment.

Her pale green eyes stare at him from the ground, with her anger which is rising she finds that her energy is restoring or perhaps that is just the adrenaline that has begun to run through her veins. For whatever reason she finds that her confidence is as strong as ever as she speaks her mind. Something that would be inappropriate for a girl of her standing, for women in general. Though, Isolde has never liked those rules and has rebelled against them in every way that she knows. "Hold your tongue!" He speaks to her, his voice so dark that it sends chills down her spine.

"Or what?" She asks him with a smirk on her face. He might hurt her but he will never break her. Not truly, her spirit and her wild like nature will forever survive. He clenches his fists, perhaps ready to strike at her but she can only smirk as she looks up at him. "Loss for words? Such a shame. I truly believed that you stood for meant more to you than your own fear, but it would appear that you are just a coward" Isolde taunts at him. Dimitri walks over to her and steps in front of her.

Almost as if he's shielding her from his own father, the action does confuse Isolde but she is not about to complain. But, she is about to use this for her advantage though. "Need someone else to fight your battles. You are even more a coward than I thought" She speaks as she uses a tree to help her stand up. Letting out a chuckle as she stares at him from behind Dimitri who looks at her and gives her a glare. "I would stay silent if I were you" He tells her but that only makes her smirk even wider than it was.

Making the situation worse is not working in her favor but right at the moment, she doesn't really care much about it. He has stolen her away and taken her into the forest for a reason that she doesn't even know yet, and is not willing to find out. He deserves to be tortured as much as she is and when it comes to Isolde, she always wants those who have hurt her to suffer even greater than she has suffered and she will make sure that they do suffer and she will be there to watch it happen.

"But, you are not me. I do not see the rules of society to crush you until you are chained to the ground only because you are the one that gives birth to children" She speaks, allowing her anger to rise. But, not necessarily anger at the two of them but the whole world which she has deemed unfair and if God were to see how the world has turned out, he would be disappointed in humanity. Dimitri doesn't speak but he does turn to look at his father who is ready to tear the two of them apart.

If looks could kill they would both be lying dead on the ground right now. "Of course, neither of you know the true torture of the world. You have not known what it is to be a woman, especially one of Royal birth" She speaks as she glares at the two of them with so much anger that she might just attack first instead of Hunter. There is no stopping the girl when her anger takes over. "Men are just cowards. Especially the two of you. Can't even kidnap someone the right away" She speaks and that seems to be the last step that she has taken.

Hunter's anger seems to have overtaken him and with one quick movement, he sends his own sun flying to the side where he lands on the ground with a groan. Before, Dimitri could even stop his father, Hunter has taken a hold of Isolde. Both of his hands are able to grip around her waist and lift her into the air. Isolde gasps when she feels her body being lifted and the air being taken from her lungs as he has begun to squeeze her waist.

At first just lightly. Taunting her as she has taunted him before. Isolde's coughing and gasps for air become more violent. Her hands and feet are punching and kicking him as hard as she can. Despite the pain that the chains rip at her wrists, it doesn't seem relevant at the moment and the pain is overshadowed by the pain of lack of air. Her lungs are burning with agony which she will never be able to describe. She can feel as the wound that was healing on her stomach is opening as blood has begun to ooze out of her stomach and down his hands.

Her wound where Dimitri has shot her with an arrow had not yet completely healed. Even if she was able to walk and move around normally, there was always this slight discomfort which Isolde had found fairly easy to ignore, but now the pain is worse than getting shot with the arrow itself. The way that he presses against the wound makes her let out a scream in pure agony. The tears are flowing down her face and landing on the ground, the three of the unaware how her tears will help a certain King find them, find her.

The said King glares dagger into his brother's body. Wondering to himself why he's wasting time playing these games with his brother when he should be out there looking for her. His brother can do what he wants but Poseidon has to find Isolde. Something inside him screams that she's in danger and since he already knows who had taken her, he knows just in what danger she is in. And with that mouth of hers which she is unable to keep closed, she will get herself killed faster than humanly possible which does say a lot.

He rolls his eyes as he turns to face Ahmeya. "Stay with him, get information out of him, in any way possible" He orders her and she does not hesitate to nod her head. Despite their fall out and Ahmeya not fond of the King at the moment, she would do anything to get Isolde back. The girl is her friend and she would not wish for her to be in danger like she is in. Poseidon goes out of the room while Terra gives Ahmeya a smirk, his infamous one which she knows only means trouble.

The ocean nymph only glares at him. "What do you know, speak now!" She orders him, fully aware of the powerful being in front of her. Terra only chuckles but his smirk remains. "She's alive. In pain but alive. I doubt that she will die even if she gets killed by them. My brother has likely put some protection on her body... without her knowledge. Which does remind me... I shall stay here and watch her reaction. I am in dire need to watch my brother's humiliation" He speaks, calming as ever. As if there is not a life at stake.

Though the King of nature has always found himself calm, in any situation that he finds himself in. Ahmeya gives him a confused look, but then again she would also take Isolde's side in any fight that the two of them land in. For it is clear that Isolde will win either way. Not only because Poseidon will be gentle with her but also because Isolde will never give up when she believes in something and she does not back down. That girl is truly something else. Ahmeya doesn't know what she can say for she knows he's right.

Poseidon had put some protection on Isolde but none of them know if it will work out of the ocean and if he cannot feel the water in her body, it is doubtful that the protection will even work. Which is why Poseidon is desperate to find her. As he is going through the hallways, he lets out a loud gasp when his lungs feel as though they are being ripped out from his body and yet hey stay in place. It takes him some seconds to realize that the agonizing pain that has begun to flow through him is her pain. Isolde's pain.
