Just yesterday, I wrote a comment in a group about how the books I wrote (primarily romance) do not necessarily reflect the books I love to read, challenging the belief that writers write what they want to read. I do love a good story, no matter the genre, and I love it even more when the writer puts me right into their world where I have no wish of wanting to get out of it, no matter how strange the surroundings may be.

It's been a while since I've read a riveting story set in a world I haven't been in in a long while, of knights, fel intentions, and the battle of light and dark. But reading In Light's Shadow by @bloodsword brought back all the reasons why I loved that genre, and now need to go back to it. This story had me feeling every drop of rain that landed on the hero's skin, drenched his clothes and threatened to leave a rusty mess of his armor. It had me championing both the hero (and his horse) and his enemy all the way to the end.

It had me wanting more.
