Chapter Five
The Bennett Witch wasn't lying.
The minute I stepped out into the sunlight, I felt a pull. Almost as if I were a fish tied to the string of a rod. It just kept pulling and pulling until I reached the surface.
The surface was a little café around a corner. Clearly she doesn't trust me just yet. Why else would she choose a public place to speak of private matters
The bell chimed as I walked in. Bonnie was seated in the middle of the café.
" Why on earth did you bring me here?" I say as I sat on a chair in front of her.
" We needed to talk somewhere Silas wouldn't come looking for me."
" You're hiding, why?"
" He wants me to bring the vale down, but I need more time."
" Why does he need you? Why does he need me? What is a Death Cure? Silas had said it was running through my veins."
" The Death Cure isn't quite like the cure for vampirism. It is very similar, but not the same. The Death Cure can raise dead supernatural beings from death. I need your blood to drop the vale, and other personal matters. But that doesn't matter right now. Your blood is needed in the ritual."
Just then Bonnie's phone rang.
Thank God! I needed a moment to my thoughts. I feel like my brain is on over load. I'm also confused. Why would my mother want me to have this thing? Why did she do this to me? What does my future have in store for me?
I was cut off from my thoughts when I heard the voice of a demon.
" Lying, scheming, and a secret rendezvous with moi. Not very Bonnie Benetty. Especially since little Elena needs her favorite witch." I turn my head and spotted that the bitch was seated next to me.
" What is she doing here?" I ask the witch in front of me.
" This has nothing to do with them. This is between you and me." She said to Katherine, and completely brushed off my question.
" Alright well, luckily for you I have got some spare time on my hands." Katherine says as she leans back on the chair behind her.
" If she stays, then I am leaving!"
" Then leave!" Katherine commands in an irritating manner.
" I need you too, Bellamy." Bonnie says.
" Relax, I'll be in the Salvatore humble abode."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was currently standing in front of the house of my destination, deciding if I should knock or walk in. I decided with the latter, and opened the door. I was met with three people. My beautiful sister, a girl that goes by the name of Caroline, and a cute bartender I had seen in Mystic Grill.
He was very easy on the eyes.
I bet you all are wondering what in the hell I am going on about, right? Well, many many years ago, I had discovered that I was attracted to men. It was part of the reason why I was never interested in Tatiana. I had kept it a secret for so long, afraid that if word got out, I would be hanged or burned at the steak. To this day nobody knows of my sexuality. Although I have heard that people no longer care wether or not people like the same sex, but I still fear what could become of me if anyone knew.
" We need to study. I am going to go home and get my flash cards, and some energy bars. This is gonna be good." The blonde said and turned around. She stopped for a bit baffled by my presence. But never the less, she continued on her way. She was very ambitious. I admire that.
" What are you doing here, Bellamy?"
" I came to visit my wonderful sister, of course." I replied. Rebekah clearly wanted some privacy with the boy. Too bad I was not going to allow her the satisfaction of getting the guy. Of course I am only joking, my sister deserves a good man, but I would like to ruffle his feathers a bit.
" Wait. He is your brother?" The boy asked.
" Twins actually." I replied vaguely.
" Twins?"
" Twins."
He then turned to Rebekah. " Twins?"
" Twins." she nodded her head.
"It is so very understandable, as to why you are flabbergasted. We do not look anything alike. For,my mother gave birth to a pair of fraternal twins." I added.
" Now I understand."
I decided to cut to the chase. Rebekah might get suspicious, but it is easier to tell her in this way, rather than saying it out loud for the world to hear.
" So Matt, right?"
" Right."
" You single?"
