-A couple months Later-

Laurie's P.O.V

I was so nervous. I wasn't ready for this... Well I mean I was, but... I mean I was so scared.

I paced around. Today was supposed to be the happiest day of my life..

I played with the fabric off my dress. So smooth and silky. It was a poofy white dress as the white faded into a greyish purple.

I continued pacing around before I felt someone grab me.

"Girl, stop pacing..! You got nothing to worry about..!" Iv said as she slightly shook my shoulders.

"Iv... It's just hard alright.. I'm so nervous...! What if I mispronounce his name.. or trip as I walk..!" 

I felt Iv envelope me in a hug. "Nothing could mess today up L.." She said softly.

I took a deep breath before tugging on the ends of my hair.

"Laurie...! You'll mess up your hair...!" Alyse cried out before running towards me taking of my crown and pulling my hair out of my braided bun.

"Well now it's messed up.." I said in a deadpan voice.

It seemed that made everyone erupt in a sea of giggles.

I saw in the mirror Alyse swiftly redoing my hair in a tight braided bun leaving a few strands out and placing my crown on my head.

I sighed deeply. Looking at my hand and it slightly shaking.

"Oh my god, Iva help me calm her down..!" Violet cried out tightly holding my shaking hand.

"Laurie don't worry, I'm sure Joel will show up!" Iv teased a bit before poking my cheek.

I pushed her away. "Shut up Iv, just you all need to get out there the wedding will start soon-" I said standing up and pushing them out the door as I tried to collect my thoughts.

Joel's P.O.V

I stood nervously at the alter, Fiddling with the end of my suit wanting to nervously pace around.

"Boo!" 

I flinched a bit as I almost fell forward but saw Iv standing there with a bright smile and dark red dress.

"H...-Hey Iv.." I said focusing my gaze on the doors.

"So... How you holding up..?" She asked.

"Me...? Oh good, great actually doing fine.."

"Your a liar.." Iv said before rolling her eyes. I started to shake my head but she simply put her hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry Joel... I'm 89% sure she won't just bail and run to the forest-"

I quickly swatted Iv away. "Gee, thanks for making me feel better!" I hissed softly before laughing.

She punched my arm before walking back over to sit with Noah.

Even if her comfort wasn't ideal, it was still nice to have it. I took a deep breath and tried to comfort myself.

Laurie's P.O.V

I stood in front of the door fixing my veil once more as if I could try to seem as put together.

"Ahem.." I heard a voice greet from beside.

I saw Matt standing there with a small smile and his arms open. I slowly ran forward and launched myself in his arms. He gently hugged be back before pulling away and fixing my veil and the skirt of my dress.

"Shall we..?" He asked offering his hand to me.

"We shall.." I said gently taking his arm as I heard the music start. The doors flung open to reveal everyone who was waiting to see me walk.

I gulped softly as I walked forward staring looking at everyone with a tiny smile.

"Thank you..." I said softly to Matt.

"For what...?" He asked

"For standing in... you know sense my dad would never walk me down the isle... thank you for standing in... It means a lot.." I said tightening my grip around his arm.

"No problem... It's the kind of thing friends do.." He said softly, before we reached the alter.

I smiled nervously at Joel and he smiled back the same nervousness reflected on his face.

Matt gently took off my veil and kissed my cheek gently before giving my hand to Joel and walking to the side with all the other guards.

"Hello my dear.." He whispered softly with a smile.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Don't start.." I said with a small chuckle. He gently reached down to kiss my check before the priest started.

Something very simple. First the vows to Joel, then Joel's vows to the kingdom and finally the crowns..

After a long ceremony, it was time. Joel turned to me with a warm smile as he held my hands tightly.

"I, .. Jonelise Carlos... take you Laurie Fawn Lunetta.. to be my lawfully wedded wife.. I take you with all your faults and all your strengths.. Before these people I pledge to share my life openly with you..." He paused for a second as he looked around the great hall before continuing again with a bigger smile.

"I promise to show up every day and try.. I promise to honor and to care for you.. to cherish and encourage your own fulfillment.. as an individual through all the changes in our lives.. I choose you as the person whom I will spend my life with.." 

I was so close to tears at that point. I slowly swallowed back my tears as I Joel slowly slid a ring on my finger.

I cleared my throat standing up a bit taller this time.

"I... Laurie Fawn Lunetta.. promise to give you the best of myself to you Joelise Carlos. I promise to trust and respect you as your own person and to realize that your interests, desires and needs are no less important than my own.." I said as I saw tears glistening in his eyes.

"I promise to to share with you my time and attention.. and to bring joy, strength and love to our relationship.. For forever.." I said softly as I slowly slipped the ring onto his finger.

Slowly he leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine. I felt small tears slipping down my face before we pulled away. I realized that it was his turn so I slowly backed away while he turned to the priest. 

Shortly after he said his vows he bowed his head down where the priest placed a crown on his head before I head to bow my head down to get my crown.

I turned to Joel and smiled as he took my hand placing a gentle kiss on it.

And for just this moment...

everything was perfect..

But those moments end..

-One Year Later-

3rd Person P.O.V

Laurie smiled as she stared at his face. His dark brown eyes. His curly dark brown hair that had a small blue streak in it.. He smiled up at her his eyes showing pure joy as she held him tightly in her hands..

The first born..

Laurie glanced at the young girl in Joel's hands. Pale skin, light brown eyes, Lighter curly brown hair with small streaks of red.

Liam and Antoinette..

Their children... Their hope... Their Joy...

"I promise... I'll protect you with my life..." She mumbled softly to Liam as he giggled softly.

...

...

...

She sat at the edge of her bed. Her dark red hair covering her face as she stared at the ground. Her hands tightly gripping the bed. As she grew more insane each day that she was held here.

The kingdom had caused this..

'They.. Caused this..' She thought. Her anger slowly spilling over. 

She formed a dark purple orb in her hand as she stared at the bright faces of Liam Lunetta Carlos and Antoinette Lunetta Carlos.

She grinned as she chuckled softly, slowly making the orb burst into flames.

"... Just you wait... my dears... Soon... there will be no one left for your family to mourn.." She said with a grin before standing up looking at her collection of knifes..

"Because why get rid of one... when you can get rid of them both...~"

Hello everyone! Laurie here..! I hope you enjoyed Book 2 as much as I did..! Honestly this book was so fun to write and I honestly hope you loved it as much as I do-

Of course I'm making a 3rd book which I'm sure you can guess what it's about.. But for right now I'm going to have to ask you to wait for me to publish another chapter where I will reveal the focus of the book and let you guys vote on the ships that will be present in that chapter!!

I'm super excited for the 3rd book and cannot wait for you to read it, and if all is correct it will be published on Friday or Thursday!!
