Whatever I had planned for my college life to be, was certainly not similar to the life I was living today. Though I would choose this life. Even after all those struggles and time to time deaths, I had made some friends that were better than any friend I had in my entire eighteen years.

Kio and I had become really close in the past two months. We used to have basketball together which was great. He was my roomie so we have had a couple of late nights. Even though we never really talked about all this, but I know that we will by each other's side all the time.

Ryder is a fun person to be with. Though he doesn't really tell us anything about his past (I personally don't even know where he is from) and tells us he is not into bikes and stuff (I highly doubt that) but he makes my classes more eventful. We sit on the back bench because that's where the nerds sit, right? Whenever our professor asks him a question, he comes up with the funniest answer and sends the whole class bursting into laughter, sometimes even the professors.

Sophia A.K.A the person who makes my job less boring. Every day out of four hours of shift, she is there with me for two hours. Recently, we have started to play this game, every time we get an order, we each have do a truth or a dare. At first, I regretted that I agreed because one day into the game, she already knew about my feelings for Vanessa and made me do some horrible dares but later on, I started having a lot of fun. One of her dares was that she had to ask a nerd for his number. She was fine with it until she went there. He told her that he didn't have a phone but she could take his mother's number. I couldn't stop laughing the entire time.

Reagan and I are not that close but I must say that girl has got an iron back bone. She wouldn't stepdown until she has made her point. She and Vanessa are almost always together. She is probably the only person that could save Ryder from getting arrested. And where does she get all the leather jackets from. She has every color and item of leather.

Vanessa, we never talk, like just the two of us. Things are very awkward between us, mainly because she knows how I feel about her, as I am not very good at hiding it nor are the others.

She is the kind of girl who knows exactly what is going to come next and has the proper response for it ready. I don't know if she feels the same way about me. I try my best to hide it, but I do get a little jealous whenever she talks about Christian. But the awkwardness and jealousy doesn't stop the way I feel for her, just makes me like her even more. I have never ever felt this way about someone else, sure I have dated a few girls but that was all fun. I may sound like a young teen girl who goes up and down at the name Justin Bieber, but I can't stop liking Vanessa.

I did invite her to go with me and stay at my home thinking it would be a nice gesture and not that I wanted her to decline but I didn't think it all over. We were obviously not that close, and I wanted her to like me, so, one mistake and it going to get so awkward between us like ten times more awkward.

And all this was just two days away. I had a lot of things to do like put petrol in my jeep, pack my suitcase, mentally prepare myself for Dallas and buy some formals cause all I owned was sweat shirts, t-shirts and basketball jerseys. In all this chaos, I didn't realize that I was going there for an internship, so I should at least know the company's name.

But before all this, I had to do my shift at the café.

The first customer itself is Nicoletta.

"Hi Brandon! Heard you too were going to Dallas."

"What do you mean by 'too'?" I asked whining and she just gave me a look which meant I knew what it was.

"Why but?" I said making her drink.

"Oh, I didn't want to go but my daddy said it would be nice for me explore small cities and that he had a friend over there, who could rent a huge mansion for me."

"And I thought it was not going to be THAT bad."

"Why are you crying? Vanessa is going to be there as well. But I think you should forget her, there are rumors that there is something going on between her and Christian."

"How do you have the gossip of everywhere? And thanks for always saving me from the 'bad people'." I said emphasizing on every word because I knew she had just now made that rumor.

Even though what Nicoletta had said was not true, I couldn't stop thinking about it.
