My baby sis is startled and looks up terrified before she realizes its me. She stands up worried, and I realize I'm still crying. I look down defeated and slowly hold my arms out. She understands as she walks closer to hug me. She lets me break down in her arms. How was she the bigger person through all this? Was it because she could hold it in while I let my vulnerabillity show? Was it bad for a man to cry? Did it make me weak?

"Does it make me weak, to cry?" I ask, to myself. I'm startled when someone answers and I have to remember that I'm in an embrace at the moment. She shakes her head, lightly grazing her chin against my shoulder. I didn't care because it was nice.

"You're not weak, Kale." she says, sadly. I hate breaking her heart, but it was too much. I'll have to find a different bar. I don't think I can officially delete him from my contacts just yet. I still have to get over the excitement I had for finally being close to someone. I sigh, heavily. I pull back for her sake.

"Thanks, baby sis." I say, giving her a quick smile. I slide my fingers over my pocket knife, but it's not there. I huff, impatiently. Where did I leave it this time? Then I remember that I gave it to Sierra, my real sis. I pray that she is considerate enough not to toss it.

"Kale, what is it? You still look upset?" she asks as fresh tears break away from my eyes. I flex my arms to stop the tears short. I gotta stop crying it was only so manly up to a point.

"My pocket knife, I lost it." I lie. She doesn't notice my secret this time as she pulls her pink one out. She holds it out to me.

"Looks like you need it more than I do." she says my exact words that I had told Sierra. I shake my head.

"I can't take that from you." I say, covering her fingers over the switchblade. She nods.

"Alright, but you go drink a beer, drink one for me too." she orders.

"Alright, baby sis." I say, chuckling deeply.
