Hi guys! This is my first story, please tell me what you think of it
The first chapter is just her at home but it really starts off in chapter 2, thanks for reading!

"Annie get up!" my mum yells up the stairs. "Whyy??" I wine. "Because you have school!" she yells back at me. "I swear it's Saturday" I groan. "Just get up Annie" she replies sounding annoyed. Me and my mum argue a lot.

Anyway! my name is Anastasia Matthews, but everyone calls me Annie. I am quite tall and thin, I have bright long fiery red hair and bright green eyes. Some people say I should go into modeling but I have never in my life been interested in that kinda stuff.

I pull myself out of bed and slip my school dress on. It sucks, unlike a lot of schools in our area, we have a uniform. but at least we are allowed to style our hair however we want and wear makeup. I straighten my hair and apply a touch of makeup even though most people say I don't really need it, I still like having a little on.

I go down stairs and my brother is eating cereal, he is two years older then me and has short ginger-brown hair and a tall, muscular build . "Take your time" Ben says. "Where's mum?" I say completely ignoring his comment. "She went to work" he replies. I eat my cereal and grab my school bag and phone "so you taking me?" I say. "Nah, I figured I would just let you walk a couple of miles to school" he smirks, he is so annoying!

When we get to school I see my best friend, Brittany. She is tall and thin like me and has long brown hair and hazel eyes, she sees me and jogs over to me."OMG Annie! Did you hear about the UFO sighting!?" She squeals. "What...?" I say surprised, "well it was all over the news, they said someone saw bright flashing lights over the forest last night" she says wide eyed. "Haha ok Brittany" I say not believing any of it, then the bell rings.

-After School-

I have been waiting a while for Ben to come get me, he told be at lunch that he was going to go get some smoothies with his mates after school. school ended at 3:30 and it's now 4:30. I think I will ring him.

"Hello Ben?"
"Oh hey Annie"
"Are you gonna come get me?"
"Oh sorry I forget" he says sarcastically
"Jerk" I almost shout into the phone and hang up.

He better get here fast, I am sick of waiting. After about ten minutes I see his car driving up and I hop in.
"You took your time jerk" I say annoyed. "Oh I'm sorry little sis I actually have friends to hang with"
"oi! I do have friends" I shout annoyed and he rolls his eyes. The rest of car the car trip is silent. When we get home, I see my mum sitting at the table looking very unhappy. "Uh-oh" I say under my breath.
