"So where are we going?"
Bitro shows my his arm. There on his wrist was a bracelet with a charm on it. 

"Its a bracelet so what?"

He looks at me and laughs, "Its not any bracelet it will take us to Mond, its where us Pali and Zula call home. It contains the power of the Eternal Gate which is the barrier between my world and yours"
Another world, now that sounds cool.

He grabs the charm and yanks it off throwing it to the floor. Suddenly a bright green light appears creating a giant portal about twice the size of both me and light shines brightly from the charm.

"Wow" I stare in amazement at the giant green portal as it swirls on itself. Bitro smiles and grabs my hand and yanks me into the portal. 

The world we entered wasn't so different from our own, other than the facts it was way greener and cleaner. Among the trees lay a gate that was even bigger than the portal. Bitro leans down and picks up the charm creating the portal, attaching it back to his bracelet.
Then he walks ahead of me towards the gate, putting his hand onto it. I hear a creak before the gate descends into the ground showing another world. There was every animal imaginable, a leopard, squirrels, rhinos, and even a duck billed platypus. There was even a multitude of humans or rather, animals transformed into humans. Shops and stores littered the green town and everything seemed to be alive.
A gorgeous deer stood out from the crowd, the same from before, and began to talk.
"Thank you for coming Voilet, we are glad you came"
The Pali all rushed around, distracted but stared when they could. The buck seems to smile and turns into a human himself. He had dark brown hair with golden eyes. He was honestly very good looking, if he was only a couple years younger that is.
"Hope this makes it easier to talk. My name is Actaeon and I am in charge leading all the Warriors. Since Bitro came back with you that must mean your willing to help us. If you will follow me I'll show you where you will be staying" 
Actaeon starts walking, pleased with my reaction to the town as I stare in awe at it.
"We try you know. This village is where most Pali stay since the Warriors of the Pali are residents here. No one is really safe from the Zula so people generally gather here."
I stop and turn turn to him, "Who's the Zula?"

He stops himself and turns around to talk to me. "Well they are the enemy of the Pali. I believe you remember Lavellan. He and his people hate our kind and wish to destroy us at all costs. They are the Zula"

I stare at him puzzled, "But why do they hate Pali?"

"The Pali are not perfect ourselves. We committed a great sin and resulted in the loss of their powers. The Zula are still furious. now they only seek vengeance for their ancestors."

"But Lavellen had powers and you said he was a Zula. That shouldn't be possible then right?"

Actaeon pauses before speaking again, "Well, he's like you"

I feel the wind brush past me quickly as I collapse to the bed. Finally I can relax. Its been a while since I've slept in a bed, let alone have my own place to stay. I lay down and get settled before thinking about today. 

So he's like me huh. That evil killer and his weird transformations. Can I do that? Maybe I spit deadly poison that can kill anything it touches just like he did. Nah I could never its not really my style anyways. I can kill anything I touch without any special powers. I chuckle to myself.

I sit there laying in bed for a while before deciding I couldn't sleep. I pick myself and walk over to the mirror in the same room. My hair is all weird. The ends are still white, even more white actually. Maybe its the "powers". The faster the hair changes, the better. Then I wont have the ginger hair of my mother.

I've gone crazy haven't I? 

Talking about color changing hair like its normal. I sigh and look closer to the mirror. My freckles seem different too, lighter. And my eyes, they almost seem to be-

BOOM

The door barges open and Bitro comes in sheepishly, transformed as a human again.

"That was loud sorry. I am just not used to this human form. I didn't mean to mean to wake you honest"

I turn to him and his face is covered with guilt. I laugh, "No its fine I can't sleep anyways. Why you here?"

He fidgets with his bracelet, "Uh well I came to tell you training starts tomorrow. I was gonna leave a note for when you woke up but it seems like it didn't matter anyways"

I smile and wave him over. He shuffles over and bows his head, obviously embarrassed. I lift my hand and smack him right on the head.

"Ow! what was that for?!"

"Stop blaming yourself for everything and feeling bad. Your strong and dependable so don't think otherwise"

You looks up at me rubbing his head, "Tell yourself that"

After he realized what he said he immediately covers is mouth. I glare at him and sigh, "Its fine don't make a big deal of it. I understand that everything is not always my fault. But I can't help but blame myself for my parents death"

He looks at me concerned. He takes my hand comfortingly, "It wasn't and you know that"

I tilt my head, "Yeah I guess"

Yeah right even if I can't fully remember what happened that night, I know for sure I had some part in it.
