Zainab:
The main person we were waiting for had not even shown up, so there were about 15 of us sitting there waiting for the meeting to begin and close the deal.

I assumed that Zahid would at least be in his bossy mood because he had been avoiding me and not even speaking to me all this time, but all I got was a cold shoulder. Okay, then I will do the same; let us see who wins.

Since Zahid assigned me all of the preparation and presentation work, I considered saying a few prayers before I began, even though I had a weird feeling that it was the same Hamza who had caused me such deep pain.

While I was praying and feeling all nervousness since it's my first time presenting if something goes wrong he will blame me..

We heard a greeting and all eyes snapped towards door while I immediately looked down not letting anyone see my reaction or not wanting him to see me..

"Assalamualeikum,"I heard the voice which I never forgot greet everyone in the room while I stood near my chair holding my pen tightly and shutting my eyes..

"Waleikumsalam,"we all replied and soon the meeting and presentations started.

Once done with everything explaining every detail we discussed and I waited for someone to say something there was total silence but then one of them clapped followed by rest and they all congratulated me I ahd worn my niqab and smiled widely my eyes shone with tears of happiness I did it yes!!the girl who was never confident and strong is now infront of 15 people just completed her presentation which went successful..
I know I need to thank someone known as grumpy Zahid but it's all my hard work he has been avoiding me.

Everyone congratulated me including Zainul who joined us later but the one person whom I was waiting for to come and atleast apologise or talk to me never bothered.

We three were left alone total silence none of us speaking they were best friends I did it all for Zahid so that he gets this deal which was most important to him despite knowing it was Hamza the opponent.

"Well done Miss Zainab Hassan,"he said while putting his hand forward but I just replied in short oww he knew my name he recognised me..stay strong Zainab and confident you are no longer the weak girl he thinks you to be.

"Thanks," I replied wishing for this moment to end as fast as possible.

"By the way since we have met after long my parents wanted to invite your family at ours for dinner tonight,"he invited Zahid and he agreed.

"Oh yeah I forgot Zainab please come with him,"he requested and I just stood there surprised what did he want?why was he being so calm after all he had done to me and my family?

"She will come don't worry,"Zahid told him on my behalf and soon I heard footsteps fading.

"I need to leave from here,"I thought and while I was about to leave I saw someone at door blocking my way completely.

"We need to talk,"he said just three words to me in all these weeks so now he remembers me...wow.

"Talk?about what?"I asked him while not even once glancing towards him I looked down all this while.

"About some stuff?"he said in short

"What was that about?"he asked me while still not moving an inch..ahhh

Let's play dumb Zainab..let's see what he will do.

"About what?"I asked him and stared at him he had that blank look again and he was staring at me intently which made me look down immediately.

"You have been ignoring my messages and do you know Hamza from before?"he questioned me I knew it he sensed something  and he has been quiet since long.

"Someone will come I need to go,"I tried to explain him so he will move but he stood there only infact now he was leaning on the door with folded hands.

"I don't care if anyone comes,"he said roughly as if he really din't care.

"You won't go till you answer me how do you know Hamza?"

"I saw how you moved back abit when you heard his voice and you you shut your eyes when he approached and how you din't shake his hand damnit what's all this?"he asked feeling frustrated and concerned?

"Why do you care?why do you observe or ask?"I asked him back...he was too confusing and  my feelings the more I try to hide he appears.

"You want to know why?why I ask all these and do what I do?"he asked coming closer while I moved back.

"Because I care alot about you damnit I care so much,"he confessed in low voice and my eyes widened.
