FRENCH QUARTER

The next morning, Christy is out and about. She visits the Jackson Square, sitting on a bench, admiring the entertainment and paintings.

Christy takes a swig of her takeout coffee cup of caramel latte as she wanders around.

Her phone buzzes in her pants pocket. She takes out her phone and looks at it.

Rebekah

Christy answers her phone. "Hey, Rebekah."

"Hi, Christy. Have you seen Nik?" Rebekah asked.

"Nope." Christy replied. "He's not at home?"

"He's not. I've looked everywhere in the compound and Niklaus isn't here. And he's not with Elijah because Ana took him out on a breakfast date." Rebekah said.

"I'll look for him, Bekah and I'll call you right back." Christy said.

"Alright." Rebekah said.

Christy hangs up her phone and dials Klaus's phone. He rings and rings, and then, a voicemail.

"It's Klaus, leave a message." said Klaus's voicemail.

"Hey, Hon. It's me. Rebekah is looking for you. I don't know why, she's just looking for you and she's worried. Call me back when you get this message." Christy said.

Christy hangs up her phone and dials Rebekah's phone again.

"Christy? Were you able to reach Nik?" Rebekah asked on the phone.

"I left him a voicemail. I told him to call me. But I'll look for him." Christy said. "Did Freya do a locator spell to Klaus?"

"She did." Rebekah replied. "I'm with her now in the ballroom at the compound."

"Okay, um, I'll look for him." Christy said, and hangs up her phone.

And then, suddenly, Christy hears Marcalos's voice in her head as he telepathically speaks to her.

"Christiana. I have Klaus in my Underworld Palace. He's not hurt. But if you want him back, I suggest you come alone." Marcalos told her and ceases his telepathically.

MARCALOS'S UNDERWORLD PALACE

Later that day, Christy golden dust teleported in the throne room where Marcalos is sitting in his throne.

"Where is Klaus?" Christy asked Marcalos.

"Hello to you too, Christiana." Marcalos nonchalantly greeted her with a grin.

"Marcalos?" Christy said.

"Aren't you gonna bow before me? I am an Elder God you know?" Marcalos said to her nonchalantly.

Christy does a fake bow with a fake small smile and looks at him. "Where is my husband?"

"Bring him out." Marcalos said.

A door opens and two cloaked Underworld guards escorts an vervain and wolfsbane Klaus in their arms into the throne room and drops him on the floor.

"Since Klaus is an Original Hybrid and he's half werewolf and vampire, I had my guardsmen dosed him with both vervain and wolfsbane." Marcalos said, getting up and walks over to the drink table, pouring himself a Julep cup of wine.

A weakened Klaus looks up at his wife. "Christy?"

"Klaus?" Christy said and looks at Marcalos. "Why did you kidnap him?"

"Because I felt like it." Marcalos told her, taking another swig of his wine.

"Why are you doing this, Marcalos?" Christy asked. "I know Klaus has done a lot of things in his past, but he has been redeemed. You don't need to punish me for his sins."

"Klaus has lost you many times and he has almost lost you. But what if you don't come back at all, Christiana?" Marcalos said. "I'm sure that Klaus will crash and burn without you, and he will have to take care of your daughters by himself."

"Give Klaus to me right now." Christy said, magically summoned her bronze sword in her hand.

The two cloaked Underworld Guardsmen takes their swords.

Christy looks at them, readying for a sword fight.

But Klaus slowly gets up to his feet, not wanting Christy to fight for him. "Christy, stop."

Christy looks at Klaus and he looks at her.

Klaus looks at Marcalos with a scowl expression on his face. "I've seen enough of warrior sword fights. You can do your worst to me, you won't break me." He then, looks at Christy and his expression softens. "If fighting is what you do, that's your thrill."

Klaus and Christy exchange soften looks at each other.

"I don't want anyone fighting my battles or defending me." Klaus said to Christy with a soften expression on his face.

Christy looks at Klaus and he looks at her. Marcalos grins, upon seeing the bond between two Epic Love Soulmates.

Christy stands down, gently lowering her sword.

"My goodness, The Great Legendary Christiana, calmed by her beloved husband." Marcalos said. "How sweet."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and she golden dust teleported them away.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That late afternoon, Klaus and Christy golden dusted teleported in the courtyard.

"Nik." Rebekah said, walking up to her older brother.

Klaus and Rebekah shares a hug and exchange small smiles at each other.

"Are you alright?" Rebekah asked him.

"I'm fine, Rebekah. Marcalos kidnapped me and took me to his Underworld Palace, but I'm fine." Klaus reassured her.

"Thank you, Christy." Rebekah thanked her sister-in-law with a small smile.

"You're welcome, Bekah." Christy said.

Rebekah pecks a kiss on Klaus's left cheek and walks away.

"Aww." Christy said.

"Rebekah?" Klaus said.

Rebekah stopped walking and looks at Klaus.

"About what I said to you when we were looking for Marcalos, I apologize." Klaus apologized.

"It's alright, Nik. I understand why you said those things, but I'm over it." Rebekah said.

Klaus and Rebekah exchange small smiles at each other.

"And Christy, aren't you supposed to be departing back to Mount Orasani tonight?" Rebekah reminded her.

"Oh, shit. I forgot." Christy said. "Thanks for reminding me."

Klaus, Rebekah and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

That evening, in the upstairs room, in Klaus's and Christy's bedroom, Christy gets her stuff and puts it in her backpack.

"You have everything?" Klaus asked, taking a swig of his small drinking glass of bourbon laced blood.

"Yeah, I do." Christy told him.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Why did you stop me from sword fighting those two Underworld Guardsmen?" Christy asked.

Klaus gently sits down on the arm of the sofa. "Chris? I don't need a knight in shiny bronze armor to protect me. And I don't need you or anyone fighting my battles for me, nor defending me. I can defend myself perfectly."

"I know you can, Hon. But you think just because you're the Original Hybrid, that you're invincible. But it doesn't hurt to asks for help sometimes." Christy said.

"You remind me of Elijah." Klaus said. "You already know that he has made sacrifices for our family. He's the Noble one, and here you are, the selfless humble modesty person and your hands remain clean. Elijah spent his life making sacrifices for me and our family. I don't want another person, you, making sacrifices for me."

"Klaus?" Christy said.

"I'm serious." Klaus said. "I don't want you sacrificing yourself for me. Or fighting my battles."

"I get it. I do." Christy said and slowly walks up to him and sits down next to him on the arm of the sofa. "It's just an instinct I have."

"I know." Klaus said to her. "It's why I love you."

"I love you too." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they share a kiss.

Later that night, Klaus and Christy gently walks down the stairs and into the courtyard where the others are.

"You're headed back to Mount Orasani?" Ana asked.

"I am." Christy replied.

Ana and Christy shares a hug.

"Mom?" Luna said.

Christy shares a hug with Luna and then, Trinity.

"You take care of yourselves." Christy said to her daughters.

"We will." Trinity said.

"By the way . . ." Christy trailed off, taking something out of her backpack, in which that something is an octagon shaped teleporter device. ". . . This teleporter device opens a portal to Mount Orasani. All you have to do is press the button. The portal closes automatically."

"Okay." Ana said, gently takes it in her hand. "I'll put it in my drawer if anyone asks for it."

"Thanks, Ana." Christy said, refastened her backpack.

"You ready to go?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah, I'm ready to go." Christy replied.

"See you when you get back, Mom." Luna said.

"You guys too." Christy said.

And Klaus and Christy walks away.

ON THE ROAD

In Klaus's SUV, he's driving and Christy is sitting in the passenger's seat, wearing their seatbelts.

But Klaus stops his SUV on the sidewalk.

"Klaus? What's going on?" Christy asked him.

"What Marcalos said, you're paying the price for my sins, everything ever done in Mystic Falls, to my siblings, every evil thing that I've done, you're being punished for it." Klaus said and looks at her. "You don't deserve that."

Christy looks at her husband. "I know. And I also know that you heard what Marcalos said, about me not coming back at all."

"I don't want to think about that." Klaus said to her.

"Okay." Christy said.

"I love you, Christy." Klaus said to her.

"I love you too." Christy said to him.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. He gently holds her hand in his hand.

And he drives away, heading to the hangar.

HANGAR

Klaus and Christy had arrived. Her Skiff-ship ramp automatically opens itself.

"I'll see you when you return." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they embrace in a hug. He pecks a kiss on her right cheek.

Klaus and Christy gently pulls away from the hug and exchange soft looks at each other and they kiss, passionately.

"T'estimo." ("I love you.") Christy spoke in the ancient Orasanian language.

"Jo també t'estimo." ("I love you too.") Klaus spoke in the ancient Orasanian language.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and walks away from him and walks up the ramp, which automatically closes behind her.

Klaus small smiles to himself and walks back to his SUV. He drives away as Christy's Skiff-ship automatically levitates itself in the air and flies away, flying out of the hangar.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Arriving back at home, Klaus peeks inside Luna's bedroom and sees both Luna and Trinity asleep on her bed with a blanket covering them both.

After checking on his daughters, Klaus walks away and slowly walks inside his bedroom.

He looks at a picture frame of himself and Christy small smiles at Elijah's and Ana's wedding.

Klaus small smiles to himself.

Christy's Skiff-ship automatically flies through the air. In the cockpit, she activates a portal and her skiff ship flies through it, leaving New Orleans.
