I am laying on a hard surface."Do you think she's alive?"asks a male voice to my left.

"Wait I just saw her eyes twitch."says yet another male voice to my right this time. I open my eyes.

To my left is a dark haired boy, wearing some type of gear over his chest, a dagger in his hand. To my right I see another boy wearing the same type of gear, also holding a dagger.

I slowly sit up, careful on how i move, knowing I'm unarmed and basically held at knife point."OK Missy start talking."says the bot with dark hair.

"Minho she just woke, let her get her bearings first."says the other boy.

"Fine but if she suddenly brings out a knife and stabs us it's all on you."says the boy with dark hair. Minho I think.

I don't remember much of the night before. I was in the Dauntless compound headed for the pit. On my way I ran into some trouble. There were men in white body armor and helmets were flooding the pit. Guns in their hands. They started firing. But they weren't bullets, they were darts.

I spot Tobias trying to fight off three men on his own. I start for him when I see him go down. I had scream his name and rushed for him. But I was restrained by three men in white armor.

Then I saw Jeanine Matthews walk up, she's holding something, she smiles at me."Enjoy the arena."she says stabbing a dart into my neck, my vision started fading.

Then I see Eric walk up,"What's going on here?"says Eric.

Janine turns and stabs another dart into Eric's neck. The look on his face is utter shock."Sorry Eric but I don't need you anymore. You've been good but its time to get rid of you."says Jeanine.

Eric falls to his knees."You'll pay for this."says Eric. Then Eric falls to his side unconscious. Then I do the same and its blank from there.

"Miss?"says the other guy.

I slowly stand up."I'm Tris."I say.

"Well Tris are you armed?"asked Minho.

"Not that I know of."I say.

"Told you."says Thomas. Minho crosses his arms and rolls his eyes as he stands up."Whatever."says Minho.

I look around, were in a stone building that reminds me of my old faction, Abnegation."Where are we?"I ask."Are we in Abnegation?".

They look at me with confused looks."What's Abnegation?"asked Thomas.

"And no were in a shuck maze in something the other people here call a arena in this gray building square in the middle."says Minho.

"Arena? Maze? Abnegation? What's going on here?"asks Thomas.

Then someone runs in the door. He has brown hair and carries a crossbow slung over his shoulder, he's pretty tall."He's awake."says the guy."He's making a racket and trying to break out of you prison."

I look."What other guy? And who is he?"I ask.

"That's Gale and he's talking about a dude in black clothing. Calls himself Four. He tried to attack us, so Minho here knocked him out. He's in the slammer till he calms down."says Thomas.

I perk up. Tobias is here. He's here with me. I wonder who else? "Fours here?"I ask. They look at me.

"You know him?"asks Thomas.

I nod."He's my boyfriend."I say.

"Then come with us, you may be able to shut him up."says Gale. I follow them out of the building and take a look around. We had been in a Abnegation household. I followed them down a couple paths, then I heard the yelling.

"LET ME OUT!" It was Tobias, it was his voice.

I walked forward towards the slammer. I can see Tobias banging on the wooden bars. Gale had his crossbow aimed at Tobias."Stop trying to escape or I'll shoot."says Gale.

"Wait don't shoot."I say.

Then the banging stops and his face appears from behind the bars. His dark blue eyes search till they find me."Tris."he says.

I look at Thomas."You can let him out now."I say.

"How do we know that when we do he won't try to kill us again?"says Minho.

"Don't worry he won't, right Four?I say. He nods.

Minho sighs and opens the door to the slammer. Tobias walks out and heads for me. He steps in front of me."You attacked them?"I ask.

He smiles a little."They had daggers and a crossbow aimed at me."he says. I smile and take his hand."Are we in Abnegation?"

"No were in a maze."says Minho.

"Jeanine said enjoy the arena before I passed out."I say.

"I searched around and its a maze alright."says Minho.

"And what on earth is Abnegation?"asks Gale.

"Abnegation is our former faction."says Tobias.

"Factions what are those?"says Thomas.

"Factions stand for what group we belong to."says Tobias."How many are there?asks Gale."Five. Erudite, Candor, Amity, Abnegation, and Dauntless."says Tobias.

"Now what is this arena and maze?"I ask.

But before they could answer there was a yell from a girl. Then I spot her. She had nice brown hair in a tight braid going down her shoulders, she held a bow and arrow, wearing a pretty cool outfit with a pin of a bird on it.

"GALE!"she yells as she ran up to him. Gale hugged her.

"Hey Katniss."says Gale.

"Gale were in the arena. I've been around, the walls are forcefeilds."says Katniss.

"Excuse me but what's the arena?"asks Thomas.

"The arena for the Hunger Games."says Katniss. I start to ask something when a voice I know all to well boomed out from everywhere.

"Welcome Tributes to the first ever Dauntless Maze Games, where the twelve Tributes will fight against powerful foes, if they don't kill each other first. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!" I look at Tobias.

"That was Jeanine."I say, he nods. We look at the others just as a Cannon booms.
