I really don't want to go to Cassie Rose's trial, but if I have to, I guess I will. I just hope she goes to jail. It's been a week after the incodent, and her trial is today, right after school. I was walking with Lorel, when we bumped into Chase as he said, "I hope Lukas goes to jail." I pushed him into a wall. "Ouch! Geez!" Chase yelped. He left us.
"Why would anyone say that?" Lorel asked. "Who knows, it's Chase, you know." I replied. It's now after school. I normally take the bus, but Cassie Rose's trial is fifteen minutes after school. So I'm on car today. "Hey Ash, did I ever tell you where we were? I know you told me where you were." Mom said. "No you didn't." I replied. "Oh ok. We left, and we had a person walk up to us and say, 'OH MY GOODNESS IS THAT THE NEW ORDER?' We talked for a whole two minutes. We checked Maya's house, and also checked the woods." Anywhere else?" I asked. "Nope." We arrived at courthouse. I'm SO not ready for this.

The courtroom is filled now. I've been in the courtroom for a while now. Trial should be starting soon. That's when the door opened, and the Judge walked in, along with a few lawyers, and Cassie Rose. The judge had a green... Dress? on. Even though he's a guy. Maybe it's a robe? I'm not for sure. Mom whispered to me, "The judge is Otto. I didn't know that!" Oh!! So that's Otto! Anyhow, he slammed his hammer on the desk and yelled. "TRIAL HAS STARTED!! Lukas, Lorel, and Cassie Rose please come up to the front." The three walked up and sat with their lawyers. Otto continued, "Ok, probably as few as you know, Cassie Rose was the one who tried to kill Lukas a long time ago. This should be interesting. Let's start with Cassie Rose. Why did you kidnap Lukas?" "To get back at 'em." I rolled my eyes. Not a good reason at all, Cassie Rose. "Why did you want to?" Otto asked. "I hate him." She replied.

Otto just rolled his eyes and questioned, "Lukas, what happened?" "Well," Lukas began. "I was sleeping, and it was about 3:00 in the morning. I got scared awake, and I saw a black figure in front of me. Cassie Rose covered my face and didn't let go. I tried bitting her hand, but she had gloves on. I tried screaming for Lorel, but she was sound asleep." Yeah, sounds like Lorel. "How did you know he was missing, Lorel?" Lorel laughed, and I did too. She replied with, "I've been with dad since birth, and he has always snored, but I learned to sleep through it. I'm not for sure, but I think my mind didn't register snoring. So I woke up and checked on Dad." "Hey!" Lukas said. "Jesse and Ashlyn, please come up front."

We walked up front. "Ok, when did Lorel tell you, Ash, that Lukas was kidnapped?" Otto questioned me. "I got a text late at night. Lorel texted me that Lukas was kidnapped. So we left the camping ground we were on, and went straight there." I explained. "Two against one, Cassie. Let's see what your daughter says." Otto stated. Zara Grace walked up front and said, "I was there. Mom kidnapped Lukas." She said. "Now three." Otto counted. "Cassie, you now have to face 14 years of jail. Case closed." Everyone got up and started to leave. Cassie Rose was sent to jail taht evening. I sure hope that Zara Grace is ok with Carter.
