Finding the Oracle and facing new tests

Two shall live and two shall die.

By the time the daughter of water and wise

Faces her legacies and opens her eyes.

As the thirteenth year approaches

And the secret Oracle awakens.

This was it. The last day of camp that Zoe would attend.

If she died, that is. If she lived, she would hopefully continue for many more years, live happily ever after, the end.

"Best of luck, demigods," Chiron said. "Argus will drive you to Olympus, ask for the six hundredth floor. After that, you're on your own." Argus was the camp's security guard. He had eyes all over his body, and Zoe had heard a rumor that when he opened his mouth, there was one on his tongue. However, he never spoke.

He drove them to the Empire State Building. "This is the entrance to Olympus," Sophia whispered to Zoe before she could say something. "And before you ask, no, I do not know why." They pushed people to get inside of the building, and they stumbled inside to find no one except a receptionist in the lobby. She chewed gum and looked up from a book, bored.

"Can I help you?" she asked. Zoe could feel her eyes boring into their bright orange T-shirts and terrified faces.

"Um...we're looking for Olympus," Pan said nervously. She rolled her eyes.

"Aren't we all, kids. That's all we want. Hate to break it to you, but there's no Olympus." Sophia raised her hand timidly. "Could we please go to the six hundredth floor?" The receptionist straightened and handed Sophia a green keycard. "Insert this into the slot in the elevator. Have a nice day." She turned back to her book, obviously done with them.

"Well, that was easy," Tu said. They walked into the elevator. Under the 102 floor button there was a small slot. Sophia slid the card into it and they felt the elevator shudder.

"Um, guys, is this supposed to happen?" Zoe asked, nervous. Were they going to fall to their deaths?

"I don't know," Pan said, "I think-" Before he could finish, he yelped as the elevator shot upwards. The four demigods were pressed against the wall as they were whisked into the sky, until there was a ding and the elevator opened. They looked out into the glittering, huge city.

"So this is Olympus," Zoe breathed.
