Winter's Pov:

While Brin was busy with her forgework, Winter had decided to Let Snowball out of the tent, for she was cooped up and growling about Starving and hunting. So when winter did let her out, she decided to get into a fight with the largest dog she had ever seen.
Minutes before:

"Brin! BRIN!" And Brin fell off the stump she was perched on. "What?" She said, spreading her wings and fluttering her fingers around her eye/eyes. "Cant you see I'm trying to work? Like I do everyday..." she muttered. You could see that Brin was working with the forge a lot. Her eyes had huge bags under them that were almost a bruised blue color, and her lips were dry and cracked. She had cut her hair shorter with some spare shards of iron, and now it was messy and choppy. Overall, you could say she wasn't the delicate girl Winter had fed ambrosia to. She was strong, and a little more plump, because she had been eating more as work got harder.
Brin saw Winter Studying her. "I know I'm beautiful, don't stare! Anyways yes?"
"Snows gone, and I heard barking. You don't think she's fighting with a dog, do you?"
"Course not, Wi-" "Awoooooooo!"
"Second thought- yes. Let's go!"
Brin jumped up, put the fire out with a bucket of snow, and ran in the direction of the howling. "AWOOOOO!"
It came louder, this time interrupted by frequent hisses of a loud cat. All the sudden, Winter tripped. And this time, she hit a cement pipe that gutted out of the mucky ground. And ya, that's really not what you expect from a hero, but this was frequently what happened, as Winter was clumsy. Her front tooth hit the cement, and she was pulled up by Brin.
"Wassup?"
"Fy Fooph!"
"Eh?"
Winter spit out blood and what was presumably part of her tooth.
"Mph Mooth!"
She smiled, showing a shortened front left tooth.
"Ohh. Well hold on, we still need to find your cat."
"Mmhhpp .." Winter muttered as she trudged off again towards the fighting. Finally, they reached the clearing.
A huge dog like the ones they had seen in battle before stood in the middle with a pup between its legs. Snowball paced around them, darting in and swatting at the pup. The large dog barked, growled, and snapped whenever she came too close. So finally, Winter got the courage to shout "Stop It!" Which of course came out like, "Phop Phc!" With her tooth broken. Snowball stopped and looked guilty, and the hellhound took this as her advantage to bite her tail. The battle then resumed as though Winter had said nothing.
How were they supposed to help if they didn't have control over the hellhound?
"Lucy!" A girl's voice shouted. "You don't attack little, puny cats."
"You calling our cat puny?" Brin retorted.
"Yup."
"Well then" The same voice said. "Care to call off your cat?" And she stepped out into the light. A pale, tall girl with black clothes and white blonde hair, with her hands on her hips. "Because she might get eaten.."
"MADDY!!" A boy shouted. "Did you find.."Coming into the clearing, he watched the fight of leopard versus hellhound. "Well, never mind then." He said, shocked still.
"Felix! A little help here?" Madeline said, rocking back and forth on her toes like a child. "I'm getting tired of arguing with ... did you guys say your names?"
Brin looked ready to punch her teeth in, and started huffing. "Why, I oughta.."
A high pitched whistle rung clearly from Maddiline and Felix's Clearning. Before anyone could utter another word, the leopard and hellhound took off bounding into the words past Maddy and Felix.
"I was gonna call dibs!" Brin yelled. "Youve gotta finish the fight!" Winter glared at her, then spit some blood on the ground. "Kidding." Brin smartly decided to say.
Both groups suddenly realised they had to go after the animals, and raced off in a flurry of kicking, fighting, and swearing.
