"My Name Is..."
When I came to, I was lying in a recovery room, with bright lights shining in my eyes. I squinted and focused my eyes, noticing that I was indoors, that I was feeling sore all over and knowing that I had defiantly died that day. So why was I alive? I was confused. I tried to get up but my body just wouldn't respond. I looked down on myself and, from that moment, I knew I wasn't who I was before. I...I had changed...I had the same body that everyone else had. I had a person's body. I almost couldn't believe it. I wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing but at least I'm well, alive I guess? I didn't know what to do, so I waited until someone noticed that I was awake. Someone did. And that someone was going to be an reliable ally, an annoying idiot too. A scarlet haired boy was looking over me, staring right into my face. I looked back with an *areyousureyoushoulddothat* expression. Something like this:(T△T)<⋯). He seemed hotheaded, his age looked around 15~18. He shouted something to the nurse in charge and she hurried over. The nurse(whose name tag says:Lisa) grabbed a needle and inserted it some sort of thingy implanted in my arm, injecting whatever was inside. Suddenly, I felt a lot better after that. My vision cleared even more, and I noticed that, by the skylight, it was nighttime. Last time I checked, it was nighttime too. How many minutes, hours or even days have passed? As if the red haired boy had read my mind, he said, "It's been a day since I found you lying in a scary pool of blood. You were passed out." I wanted to ask him more, but my body was immobilised. "Let's take him to a room, shall we?" said Lisa(the nurse). The boy nodded silently. While the three of us walked(in my case, pushed), the boy was asking a lot of random questions, some as simple as,"What time is it?" or questions as trivial as "What does pressing that red button do?". Just a bunch of random questions. I was wheeled into an elevator, bigger than your normal, everyday ones, with doors on opposite sides. I was fully conscious when we finally reached our destination. In fact, I felt good enough to walk. When I was wheeled in, I sat up, slightly shocking Lisa. She got over it rather quickly. I glanced at them quickly, then checked my surroundings. I didn't like enclosed spaces. I also didn't like hospitals. The thought of escaping floated into my mind. I thought carefully. "You know... I don't think that would be a good idea." It was the scarlet haired boy who spoke. I looked at him with silent curiosity. He seemed ok. But... I couldn't trust too many people. Last time I did, I barely got away with my life. Now is not the time to think about that though. The red haired boy smiled at me. "My name is Blaze," He said."What's yours?". I looked at him cautiously. I thought hard about a riddle that I could say. I sighed and tested my mouth. I felt that my tongue was smoother. The words came to me. I didn't even question it. I spoke, for the first time in this condition, I looked at him sideways."My name is Kuro."
