The Cliff Hanger

On a cliff, standing hand in hand,

The two who are still in The Livings Land,

While below them on the cliff is hung,

A friend whose time in this world is done.

A friend whos hung above a raging sea,

Hung above rocks, as dead as can be,

Left there swinging in the wind and breeze,

From a necklace of rope, for all to see.

Their friends above clueless to the hung ones act,

Completely clueless of there now broken pact,

For one is dead while two still breathe,

One is hanging while two move to leave.

The cliff face as night starts to approach,

Leaving the Hanging to ride in Deaths Coach,

Left to leave this world with Death a stranger,

For they were the only True Cliff Hanger.

Authors Note

Again I am sorry if that triggered anyone or offended anyone with the quote or what I wrote. This is one of the poems among other stories I managed to find with lots of semi-complete or complete chapters I just have to type up. There was another shorter semi-complete chapter when I first published this but it has disappeared so I have to find the handwritten original copy to type it up again. I will try to get that done soon and post it as a separate chapter it should be under the name of "The Programmed".
