The 6 Laws of mAI}nE$s

To be Mad!

Law one                                                                                                                                                                              To be sane you must do some crazy things, therefore, to be Insane you have to do some sane things.

Law two

Madness symptoms include:

Feeling sad or down, Confused thinking or reduced ability to concentrate, Excessive fears or worries, or extreme feelings of guilt, Extreme mood changes of highs and lows, Withdrawal from friends and activities, Significant tiredness and low energy or problems sleeping.

But to be mad you are believing in the unbelievable. You are imagining the unimaginable. Madness is not when your sad, Madness is not when your confused or not concentrated on something, Madness is not when your mood goes from high to low to high all day, Madness is not when your not involved in activities and go away from your friends and Madness is not when you have a significant lack of sleep, low energy or trouble sleeping. To be "MAD" is to be and to feel free from all limitations of life. To finally be YOU.

Law three

Insanity is by definition when you are in a state of being seriously mentally ill; madness. But to be insanity is to be not ill but free. To be Sanity is by definition is for you to be in the ability to think and behave in a normal and rational manner; sound mental health. But there is no "Normal" way of behaving, our so-called normal selves are nothing but shadows or our outer shells of who we truly are. Like in the first law, to have sanity is to be "Normal" but if there is no normal there is no Sanity and no sanity means you are either a little different and unique as we all should be or you are not. To be Insanity was to always be mad, but what if to be insanity is just when we show who we really are, with all our faults, flaws and all. We are all unique, us showing that we are unique is the true meaning of "Normal" and if that means we are different, mad, crazy or just stand out from the crowd, what does it matter to let your true madness shine and that is the madness which is the true and beautiful you. After all, we all are insanity, for no true sanity exists.

Law four

A saying goes like this 'You might just lose your mind trying to understand me' this is told by a mad man, the Hatter for example. The Mad Hatter is already Insane and if he says this to a sane person that 'They might just lose their mind trying to understand him', it means the sane could become the insane just by understanding the mad. The reverse of that is the Hatter trying to understand a boring sane person. The sane person says to the Mad Hatter, 'You might just go sane trying to understand me". This means the Hatter could go sane by understanding the 'Normal'.

Law five

There are two quotes which are true in my opinion. One 'We are all born mad some remain so' and the second one 'We are all born crazy but some of us remain that way'. These quotes are from the year 1955 and are both by Samuel Beckett. These are similar because they are from the same year, the same person and are very similar in meaning and their context. These I think are true because when you are born you drive your parents crazy or mad and only a mad person can make someone else mad. So that means we were all born mad or crazy. If you stay crazy/mad then you are like the Mad hatter if not you chose to go against who you were born as.

Law six

To continue law five I have another quote which follows on from the last two. This quote is by Charles Bukowski and it goes like this 'Some people never truly go crazy, What truly horrible lives they must live.' Craziness or madness is not a bad thing. All the great scientist and explorers were thought to be crazy even Mad for what they believed, like being able to make flying vehicles, or that the world is made of microscopic things you can't see or that the sun is in the middle of the solar system, not the earth. But they were right no matter how crazy they and their theories were. They were Right.

Hello thank you for reading I don't really like doing author notes I find most people skip them but here I am so.... I thought I would just tell you a little about this chapter. This chapter and the next few are based on Alice in Wonderland and are a part of a short book I wrote last year for a Tech club at my school.

Bye and may all your adventures be
