' Come one, where are they?....' Raindrop paces around in the simi-dark cave. ' they should be here by now...' She thinks with a furrowed brow.
She was about to give up until she heard talons making their way down.
Arctic- Night was the first to walk in, followed by Darkscales and Snakefinder.
" About time." She says as she sits down, curling her long tail around herself.
" The whole school is on high alert right now. We barely made it here without being caught."  Arctic says as she sits down in front of her. Darkscales sits down beside the Icewing hybrid.
"She's right, Tsunami and Clay have barely gotten any sleep since the death of Seahorse."
 Snakefinder sits beside Rain with a sigh," I've heard the Nightwings talking in the prey center earlier, they are planning on trying to kill after your trial."
Rain scoffs," please, like they could."
Snakefinder just rolls his eyes.
" Rain, what are you going to do? They are going to put you in trial tomorrow. " Arctic starts to say until she looks at Rain," you're thinking about something, you have an idea of who it is, don't you?"
Rain sighs," yes, I do."
Darkscales ears perk," who?"
" honestly,  I think it's one of those Skywing brothers.  There's just something off about them. They both have skyfire so it's hard for me to know exactly what." She says flicking her tail.
" Really? Them? Honestly, I think it's Sharptalon. I mean, that dragon has always been out to get you Rain. It has to be him." Darkscales says as his tail curls around his back talon.
Snakefinder shifts his wings," I think Rain is right, there is something off about those Skywings, I mean they both have skyfire, doesnt that seem just a little bit off?"
" okay, we can't make any promises of who it is, right now we need to figure out how to help Rain." Arctic says cutting Darkscales off.
Snakefinder flicks his tail looking at Rain, " you have a plan, right? "
"....well, kind of, and you're not going to like it." She says looking at her talons.
The large green dragon rolls his eyes with a snort," of coarse I'm not, since when do I ever like your plans?"
" hush. " she says tapping her tail against his then turns back to Arctic and Darkscales.
" I do have a plan. But it's tricky." She says earning another eye rolls from Snakefinder.
" I'm going to get the skyfire away from the two Skywing brothers. " she says
Snakefinder  scrunches his snout at her," are you mad? They wouldn't get ten feet close to you right now. I'll do it."
" No, last time you tried to take something you ended up with your snout in a hornets nest and you tail in quicksand, and who had to save you? Me. Therefore, I am doing it and that's final." She says as she taps one claw on the stone.
Arctic smirks," there's no talking about this Snakey. She tapped her claw. That's that."
Snakefinder grumbles with a pout as he turns away.
Darkscales chimes in," okay, if you are going after the Skywing brothers then I can spy on Sharptalon, I'm sure to find some kind of information from that big snout."
Arctic nods," I'll help him as well as listen around to some others. There are strangely secretive dragons here, like those Sandwing twins, Oryx and Starling."
" oh at the Icewing in my Winglet, umm, Lynx I believe is her name." Darkscales says with a warm smile.
Rain nods her head," alright, now that we know what to do, we need rest. Thanks you two. " she says as she nods her head in appreciation to them.
" you're welcome Rain." Dark scales says as he stands.
" we'll see you in the morning." Arctic adds with a smile as she then walks out of the cave with Darkscales, the two of them whisper back and forth as their talon steps grow quiet.
The air in the cave began to thicken with awkwardness as the two hybrids sat so close to each other.
Raindrop was looking down at her talons as she rubs then together while Snakefinder taps his claws on the stone.
".... Can I ask you something Greenie?" Rain finally says breaking the silence.
Snakefinder relaxes slightly and looks down at her with a kind smile," of coarse."

" Do you think you could help me tomorrow with the Skywing brothers?" She says quietly flattening her ears.
Snakefinders ears perk at this as he lowers himself with a smirk," what was that? Is the great Raindrop, daughter of a Nightwing assassin, asking me for help? What odds!" He says jokingly.
She scrunches her snout and playfully pushes him back with her good talon," oh stuff your snout, will you or not?" She says looking up at him.
Snakefinder holds his head up with a smirk as he still looks down at her, ".... hmmm, well, I'll just have to think about it." He says and he nudges her back gently.
She sighs with small smile," thanks Greenie."
He cuts her a look," how many times must i tell you not to call me that?"
She chuckles," I'll always call you that."
He laughs lightly with a shake of his head," I know, and there's no stopping you."
She smiles then looks down at her claws with a sigh," Snakefinder, what am I going to do? I- I can't go home nor do I want to. Most dragons don't like hybrids anyway so I would be rejected were ever I went. So, now, all this has happened  and everyone probably thinks I'm evil now..."
Snakefinder smiles a small kind handsome smile and gently puts a wing around her," wha- - pff, who could think you're evil? I mean you're sweet, and kind, and beautiful,  and you smell like honey and peach- -" he says trailing off
"......What?..." Rain asks glancing up at him from her claws.
He stiffenes up quickly looking up at the ceiling," I- I... I ummm.. I mean...err...umm..... soooo howthingsbeen?!?.... " he asks quickly as his voice cracks.
Rain smirks at him as she twines their tails together," you're a mess." She says as she nuzzles under his chin with her snout.
He sighs relaxing again,"Hey, you made me this way."
She chuckles again then looks back up at him once more," can I ask you another favor?"
He nods his head with a smile," mhmmm.."
".... Can you help me take the bandages off my face?.." she asks quietly.
Snakefinders ears twitch, thinking for a moment,"...... Alright." He says as he gently begins to remove the pale yellow cloth.
Rain flinches every once in a while through the process but finally the bandages were off.
Snakefinders ears droop once they come off,"... it's still bad Rain..." He says quietly.
" How bad?..." she asks as she lifts a talon up to feel, only to get stopped  by Snakefinder taking her talon in his.
" blisters are on and around your eye and face,  along with some of your scales slightly melted......" He says in a sad voice.
Rains ears droop, a knot form in her throat as she looks away from him,"... so... I look like an evil monster now...... " she says and folds her wings in,".... great..." She mutters as a tear flows down her cheek.
She then fills a talon under her chin turning her head back to Snakefinder, making her look up at him. Her dark green eyes meet him bright gold ones," don't ever say that again." He says in a deep quiet voice," you are beautiful, inside and out....."
There was a spark between them, something the two have never felt as strong as it was now. Snakefinder was the first to lean in as Rain follows. They became so close, Rain could feel his hot fire breath on her snout.
Then, pain struck like nothing she as ever felt, she yelps clutching her horns as she staggers back with a hiss.
" Rain! What is it? I'm sorry! Was it my breath?!" Snakefinder stammers out only to realise it wasn't once he saw white speckle on Rains scales.
" Rain?! Raindrop? " he asks helping her stand up.
The dark purple hybrid growls again, shaking her head. Her vision was spotting until a voice calls out as images come to her mind:

When dragons begin to die,
A bonded group will rise.
Scales of many colors and shapes,
Will decide Pyrriahs  fate.

Find the one as dark as cold stone
The glue with scales of green
 Befriend the two with mind seeing
Wings of Sea will show you the light
Burning scales will be the fight
Scales of treasure will be the one known.

Dragons of all tribe unite for lives,
Fighting for the ones who have died.
Teeth, claws and powers bond together,
For the fate of Pyrriah forever

Raindrop weakly looks up at a blurry image of her friend, his mouth was moving but the ringing in her ears was to loud.
She collapses into darkness.....
