" Why would someone do that to a poor dragonet" Dandelion ask in a whisper as we all make our way outside. Clay, Tsunami, and Sunny told everyone to leave so Raindrop, Arctic, Dandelion, SnakeFinder and Sapphire all left to go hunting outside. Ember and Vulture vanished when the panic started. Why were those Skywings acting so strange? Raindrop thinks to herself with a furrowed brow, speckles of pale green, red, and grey blue all scattered all over her scales. SnakeFinder comes beside her. He brushes his wing with and twines his tail with hers

" Hey, it will be okay, I promise." He whispers in his caring voice.

Raindrop looks into his golden eyes, a few specks of pink show on her ears but she turns them to silver before anyone can see.

" I know, I just wish I knew who did it" she mumbles and sits under a tree, feeling the cool grass on her scales, she sighs and picks at the grass.

" I know Rain." He whispers and grabs her talon, " but we will find out." He whispers with a small reassuring smile.

Raindrop smiles at him, she doesn't know what she would do without him. " thank you Greenie" she winks

" Hey guys." Arctic says as her and Sapphire walk over to Raindrop and SnakeFinder. Arctic's silver and light purple scales shimmer like freshly fallen snow.

"Hey Arctic, Hey Sapphire." Raindrop replies, suddenly, a cluster of sky blue scales come barreling to them.

"Whoa, Current what's the rush?" Sapphire as stepping back keeping her flaming scales away from the winded Seawing.

" d-did you hear what h-happened i-in the p-prey center?" The sky blue Seawing ask, his gills flaring as he breathes heavy trying to catch his breath.

" Yes we did Current" Arctic says with a sigh. Raindrop looks around at her friends then back at Current face, she sees his scales on his face are stained with tears.

"Current? What was her name?" she ask him.Current sighs and flashes a few of his scales on his face and tail, looking away.

" Her name was Seahorse, she was my best friend back when we lived in the ocean." He whispers and curls his muscular tail around his talons.

Just about that time Dandelion, comes swooping in landing with two chickens in her talons, she lightly brushes Currents wing as she walks and sits beside him. He smiles at her with a sweet nervous smile and flickers his light up scales on his snout. Raindrop smiles a small smile, oh Current if only you could tell her how you truly felt. She thinks to herself. She looks at Dandelion and raises a brow at her and Current, she just rolls her eyes.

"BOOONNGG! BOOONNGG! BOOONNGG!!"
"Time for art" SnakeFinder says standing shaking out his wings and helps Raindrop up.
"We'll see you guys later, stay safe guys." Raindrop tells them all and spreads her star covered wings and flies with SnakeFinder to the art cave. She just couldn't shake that something eerie was going on in Jade Mountain, something dark was forming in the shadows. She shakes her head and walks into the art cave with SnakeFinder.

 A small Nightwing, a pale sea foam green Seawing, and a light pale yellow Sandwing were in there with them. She sat down and grabbed a blank scroll and a charcoal stick. She sighs and begins sketching a dragon. Right now she was at peace, she had her best friend right beside her, she had her art, she smiled a small smile.

"BOOONNGGG! BOOONNGG! BOOONNGG"

" Class is over Rain." Snakefinder says nudging her, pulling her out of her day dreaming. " Wanna go and get some fruit?" he ask stretching his dark green wings, his muscle flex under his scales.

" I'll meet up with you in a few minutes, I'm going to clean up some." She says with a smile.

"Okay, I'll see you there" He says and touches his wing with hers and leaves silently

Raindrop smiles watching him leave. The young Nightwing is still here. Why is this little nightwing still here, all well. She thinks to herself.

" d-do you have any more paint brushes" a quiet male voice says behind her. She quickly turns around and stands face to face with the young Nightwing

 "Oh, sorry, how rude, the names Starcatcher friend" he says smiling a kind smile holding his talon out.

"Raindrop." She says nodding her head and shakes his talon

His eyes get wide, "you're the princess to the throne of the Rain Forest!" he quickly crosses his talon and spreads his wings bowing, " I'm sorry your highness"

"Oh no please stand, please, I'm not that here, I'm just Raindrop" She says quickly helping him up. "Please, I don't want to be treated any different than I already am." She says quietly.

Starcatcher quickly stands, "sorry Raindrop" he says with a small embarrassed smile.

"Its fine Starcatcher" She says with a smile, " and here you go" she say handing him two paint brushes.

"Thank you Raindrop." He says and slightly bows his head taking the paint brushes and walks back to where he was earlier cleaning. 

Raindrop smile and begins to moves a set of paint. Something shinny catches her eye, she looks back and sees a very thin wire. What in three moons? She ask herself and pulls the wire until she hears something click. And like a lightning flash, a combustion of fire engulfs Starcatcher and the art cave. She is thrown back from the blast hitting a stone wall. A searing burning pain hits Raindrops right side of her face, wing and tail. Her vision begins to spot and fade. A blurry vision of dark green scales come running into the cave, SnakeFinder she thinks weakly to herself as everything goes black. Over the roaring flames the last thing she hears is Snakefinder screaming, " Raindrop!! PLEASE STAY WITH ME!!"....

Then...........Darkness..... and silents.......
