It has been six years since Ben Solo succumbed to his fate and betrayed the Jedi Order after being seduced by the Dark Side. With the aid of his immense power, the First Order has cast a shadow over the galaxy, reminiscent of the Empire.

But when a trade deal goes astray and the First Order abducts the queen and a handful of her maidens to use as a bartering chip to force their terms, Lyra finds herself a prisoner on their lead ship.  Knowing she must hide her force sensitivity to protect her life as well as her queen's, the last thing she expects is to be reunited with an old friend... one she thought had died six years ago, taking her heart with him.

Sensing conflict in him, Lyra's hope flares upon learning that the feared Kylo Ren isn't too far gone just yet.
