Melanie's POV

You think that I went straight to the castle. No. I had another adventure thingy.

I said my goodbye to Neoma and I said I will make a new place for her in the kingdom. I was wearing my hood and I was far away from Neoma's place when something, more like someone was running to me. I looked at my right side and I saw Moom running towards me. I was so happy that she was alive. As she arrived I hugged her. Maybe I didn't really know her I still loved her.
I got on her and we started to go to the kingdom. It wasn't raining this time but the sun didn't shine either, maybe it knew what is gonna happen today. We were going through a dark forest but it wasn't scary for me but something caught my eye. It was a cave, well it looked like it and I saw a figure that looked like Dark. I stopped Moon and got off her. Leaves were covering it so I had to made my way into this cave. When I entered it, it was dark like really dark. I could barely see anything. Then a little star thingy started shining somewhere near me. I walked towards it, yeah I know people do this, so cliché I know. I touched it and a person flew out. It was my Mom. I didn't know why or what happened. She was like a ghost because you could see through her body.

"Mother...?" I said.

"Melanie... I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" She screamed and I started running. After I stopped I looked back and saw nothing then I turned back.

"YOU!" Mom was in front of me and I fell on the ground. "You killed my husband. You killed me. Jennifer gave you your punishment that you've deserved. But you escaped. Somehow."

"You were torturing me. You were the worst Mom and you are!" I yelled at her.

"Me? I gave you food, I gave you a bedroom, I gave you clothes, I made you go to school." Mom said.

"I couldn't eat with you, that bedroom was near the roof, I had a few clothes and a lot of kid bullied me and not forget the part when you abused me through my whole life!" I yelled.

"At least Jen respected us. I gave her everything she wanted but you took it away." She said.

"What the fuck do you mean I took it away? Was it my fault that you got pregnant with a demon child?" I said.

"This isn't the way you talk to you Mother." My Dad appeared and more memories came back.

"Oh, you shut the fuck up. You molested me and tried to fuck me but gladly I ended it quickly." I said.

"Language." Mom said.

"I don't give a fuck." I said then I felt a hard slap on my face which made me fall. It touched it and it hurt.

"That's what you deserve." Jen appeared too. "Maybe more."

She put her arm out and open her hand and she wanted to show me something 'magical' on her palm. She showed me Bella as she was running towards me. It was raining and she was running from something. She was running as fast as she could but it wasn't enough.

"Say goodbye." And Jen made Bella fall on the cold and muddy ground. Then I saw that wolves were after her and as she fell they attacked her. I couldn't looked at it.

"How could you?!" I yelled and I was ready to slap her but I felt a kick in my belly. The familiar feeling of torture came back.

"I told you, you don't a choice. You were born to be a demon, it's your destiny to be abused and alone." Jen said.

"I'm not alone!" I stood up. "I've Dark, Anti-Jack and Wishu on my side."

"This girl is really funny, isn't she?" I heard Dark's voice which just made me happy but I shouldn't believed it.

"Dark!" I said as I went to him and hugged him. Then he pushed me away.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You." He said. It felt like my heart is gonna fell. I think I didn't breathe in that second. It just shocked me. Did I do anything wrong?

"W...What?" I said, smiling like nothing is wrong, just like a fake smile with a little laughter. I didn't wanna believe it.

"You didn't come for us. After you escaped from your cell you just went on your way, not caring about us." Dark said. I felt the tears.

"Dark, I-I'm sorry. I wanted to save after I fought with Jen." I said.

"Yeah definitely. How do you know you will win that fight?" Dark asked.

"I've trained for it for weeks, just for you. Because I love you and I always will." I said.

"And what about us?" I heard Anti-Jack.

"You only care about Dark, just because he is your boyfriend." Then Wishu followed him.

"Guys, no. You misunderstood everything. I love all of you guys." I said.

"Liar." Dark said.

"I'm not a liar." I defended myself.

"Yes, you are." Jen said.

"You're a liar." Dark said.
"You're selfish." Wishu said.
"You only care about yourself." Anti-Jack said.
"You are so naive." Mom said.
"You are an idiot." Dad said.
"You deserve more punishments." Jen said.

They were telling me things like these over and over again. I've lost my self-esteem and everything that has kept me alive. Then Jen kicked me in the leg and I fell on the ground. They started kicking me and saying things like "That's what you deserve!"
I was defending my head with my hands and I was curled up but they were still kicking me.

"Please stop!" I screamed as I cried. Even my friends were against me. Then everyone disappeared except Dark. He was just standing there watching me as I stood up.

"Dark-"

"No." He said. "Just shut up."

"What?" I said.

"You won't understand it anyway. I don't love you anymore. You betrayed me, you betrayed us. I don't even wanna see your face anymore." He said these painful words.

"D-Dark... What did I do wrong? I can fix my mistakes just tell me, what did I do?" I cried.

"You don't even wanna admit it? Ridiculous and pathetic." He said. "And don't worry, I found someone better than you."

A girl appeared from the shadows. She looked oddly familiar but soon I realized that she was my main bully in high school. Jessica. I remember that she had feelings for Dark (for some fucking reason) and tried to take him away from me. Jess put her arms around Dark's neck and Dark put his arms around Jess' waist. They startes kissing passionately and there was more. I just couldn't watch it. I wanted to run away from this but my legs couldn't move an inch. I was stuck.

"Aren't you happy?" Jess asked as they stopped kissing for a second. "You are free and I got what I wanted."

They were kissing again and I heard them giggling. I wished they just swallowed each other. I still tried to get out but my legs were glued to the ground. Then they disappeared and memories appeared in front of me. There were a lof of them.

I was little about 5 years old. Mom and Dad took us to a calm field full of green grass. The wind was blowing and it just felt so good. The calm vibes just made me relax also energetic. I was running around with my paper dragon in the air. But soon I had to give it back to my sis because she wanted to play with it. I gave it to her then I went back to my stuff. There was a little hill and I ran to the top and rolled down. It was so much fun. Even the sun was shining.

"Melanie! It's time to go!" Mom yelled.
I walked back near her, well I was running and I ran into her giving her a hug.

"Get off me you demon!" She said as she tried to kick me away but she pushed me.

"Mom..." I said as I felt the tears running down on my cheeks.

"What did I tell you?" She looked very upset.

"Not to talk to you, touch you only look at you." I looked down but then I stood for myself. "But that's not fair! My sister talk to you, touch you hug you and smile at you!! You help her! Why? Am I not important for you?"

"Of course you are not! Just look at you." Mom said. I was sobbing now because I didn't want to believe her even though I knew it was true.

This memory of mine had taught me that my Mom never loved me. But as soon as this went away, the next one arrived.

I was ten years old and Mom told us we can go out for a few hours. I was really happy about because I could spent some time with Jen. I loved her at that time. Mom told us we can go to the town and the field. But I didn't obey her. She said to Jen that she has to look after me. So as I said I didn't obey my Mom and we went to the forest.

"Hey, where are you going?" Jen asked as I started to walk into the forest.

"To the forest." I said.

"But you can't go. Mom said we can only go into the town or the field." Jen said as she was standing a few steps away from the forest.

"And? Should I obey her or what?" I said. "We're out here, we can go anywhere without Mom knowing it, so?" I tried to make her join me.

"But-"

"Are you a pussy or what?" I said. "Your little sister is braver than you, huh? Now that's just hilarious."

"I'm braver than you! A-And better." She said.

"Then come with me." I said. I turned around and started walking into the forest. I didn't care if she joined me or not but then I heard her footsteps.

"Jesus, wait." She said like an annoyed kid.

A few minutes have passed and we didn't really talk, maybe she didn't want to.

"Where are we going anyway?" She asked.

"A Fun house." I said.

"A Fun house." She said. "Really?"

"That's what I just said. I have found a few days ago and I wanted to do some fun." I told her.

"Fun?" She asked.

"Gosh, why do you have to ask so much?" I said.

Soon we arrived to this abandoned fun house. A few windows were broken, the bricks gave up and there were a few holes and the pattern started to fall off. It was hard to open the door so I needed help, but not Jen's help. I grabbed a metal bar that I left near the door and break the door with it. It broke into pieces because it was just so old. I walked in and smelled the air. I ran up the stairs and started running through the corridors.

"Catch me if you can!" I yelled. I heard her footsteps coming so I started running faster. I threw vases and dead plants to make her slow down. Soon we finished because I had a purpose to run around.

We were out of the fun house after a few hours and she was confused.

"Why are we staying here again?" She asked.

"10." I started to count down. She looked confused.
"9." I continued. "What are you doing?" She asked.
"8." I said. "Can't you just tell me?" She wasn't patient.
"7." I said. "Just already." She couldn't even stand in one place.
"6." Almost the half of it. "Gooooosh." She said.
"5." At the half. Jen still looked annoyed and confused.
"4." Close to one. Jen looked at me like an angry girl.
"3." I said. "I'm not even gonna say anything about it." She said.
"2." Near the end. She looked back at the fun house
"1." I took out a remote control and she looked confused even more.
"Fun."
I pressed the only one button and the dynamites started to explode one by one. I set them up when I was running. There was a lot of explosion. I was okay with this fun house but destroying it was more fun. The bricks were falling after another, the windows shattered into glasses. Jen looked surprised but in a bad way. She put her hands over her mouth. The big explosion made her fall on her back and butt. All she could see was me standing there watching the big explosion with the remote control in my hand and the explosion made my hair go backwards just like when the wind blows. It felt so good and I felt so free.

"This used to be a fun house." I said. "But now it's full of evil clowns."

"What are you doing?" Jen started to go backwards a bit.

"It's time to start the countdown, I'm gonna burn it down down down." I turned around and faced my sister. I had a creepy smile on my face. This made me crazy.

"Melanie, stop it." She said. She was scared.

"I'm gonna burn it down." I said.

"Stop!" She screamed.

"Are you scared or what?" I said normally. I wasn't crazy, I just messed with her.

"No." She said and got up.

This was a good memory of mine and there was another one that I didn't wanna watch. It was when Jen kept me underground but I was out for a month. I had no choice but to watch it.

I was standing in front of the mirror. It was my first day outside after months or years. I washed my face and there was something in my pocket. It was an eye patch. Since Jen stabbed my left eye I needed this so I put it on. I had cuts on my face and my whole body. I was just crying then so much. I touched the mirror and I felt that some else's hand was on the other side. I still saw myself but in another version. More human version. My right eye was bleeding but I didn't care, it happened more and more times. Her left eye was bleeding and she didn't look how she wanted to be. I couldn't help myself but to talk.

"Somebody, please help." I said and just cried more. I knew I was free but I was broken inside.

"I HATE YOU!" I heard Jen's voice and suddenly something broke the mirror. A knife broke it and Jen was the person who threw it. I turned around to see her. She was in tears because she had to kill her boyfriend because of cheating on her. "I hate you so fucking much."

"I feel the same way." I said as she left and I turned back. I picked up a mirror piece that looked a lightning. I looked into at and there was something strange with it. I could see Dark, Anti-J and Wishu. I gasped because it may help me to find them and rescue them.

I didn't wanna see other memories anymore but they were coming nonstop. More memories from my childhood with my abusive parents. I yelled stopped and even cried out because I wanted to forget them. I just couldn't stand them so I started to move my legs and hardly I could move them and ran out. Moon was still there and she was waiting for me. I walked to her and jumped on her and we started going. We were going slow first and I just looked back at the cave.

"Fuck you." I said and I headed straight to the castle.

I can promise you that the next chapter is gonna be the battle yaay! I just wanted to share a few ideas that were a little lost and I really wanted to get them out because I thought there were so good. I know, this chapter was a bit useless but I just really liked and what do you think about the first one (there was just a little) and last one, did I break the fourth wall for ya? Some nostalgia from The Dark Side *wink* no. okay *hides in the closet*
