More in Common, It Seems

[A/N: This was really fun to write! The basic rundown for this story is that Katsu and Namahage both meet at rhe station while planning to well uh, end things to say it in the softest way I could put it, and they both end up agreeing to end things together after realizing they can relate to each other. I mean, Katsu and Namahage both have their issues in their lives in the games so-]
[Anyways, this specific story is all about suicide, so if you don't like that, pleade leave. Thank you!]

I sighed, looking at the doors that led to the train station. I'd gone to this exact one before, but today wasn't like that. I came here today to end things on one final note, and it's not like anyone would care anyway! Everyone likes Don more... I never get any recognition... Plus, everybody seems to forget I exist, so nothing would change, would it? As I walked into the station and over to where the train would arrive, I noticed someone else was there, standing near the edge of the exact railway I was planning to jump into. That person was Namahage.
Usually, most of what he does looks kind of scary, but the way he stood there holding his gohei just seemed...sad. This was really confusing... "Why is he here...?" I wondered. After a moment, I walked over and stood right next to Namahage, looking up at him.
He looked back, seeming way more upset than before... "What are you doing, Katsu...?" He asked. "I thought you were scared of me, like everyone else..."
"I wanted to see why you were here, you seemed sad," I answered, turning over to him. "Plus, if I'm gonna die, I want to make sure I make someone happy for once, don..."
"If you're gonna die...? Is that why you're here...?"
"...maybe, da-don."
Everything was completely silent for a moment, all I could hear was the quiet breathing of both Namahage and I. Soon, Namahage spoke up. "I'll be honest with you, there's a chance no one else will know about this anyway... I'm...also here because I want to die."
Hearing that sent shivers through my entire body. "Namahage...wants to die too?!" I wondered. "W-Why, nanoka...?" I asked. "Why would you want to do that...? You always seem so happy no matter what everyone else thinks... and what about all those kids you have to help act better, ka...?"
Namahage sighed, and it looked like he held onto his stick tighter than a few moments before. "Those kids will learn in other ways, I would never be able to teach them... Life gets hard when you constantly get called a monster and criminal, you know. It just makes me feel like I was never meant to be here, as if I truly am a monster..."
"I can kinda understand how you feel, don... I don't have to deal with what you have to but being overshadowed by my brother and being forgotten also makes me feel like I don't belong either..." I looked away for a moment, before looking back at Namahage. "Do you also feel like no one will miss you, nanoka...?"
"You could say that..."
"I see..." As I looked over at where the train would come from, I got an idea. Namahage and I have a lot more in common than expected. We're both here to die because we just don't belong, and it seems like everyone will just forget us... "Hey, how about we...die together?"
Namahage seemed confused. "You want to jump in front of the train with me...?"
"Yup, da-don! Maybe we'll both feel less lonely in our final moments since we'll be doing it together, like friends!"
"Heh, maybe..."
We stood there for a moment, until the distant sound of the train was heard. I looked up at Namahage, who looked back at me and nodded. He took one of his hands off of his gohei and held my hand as we both looked at the rails.
Soon, we heard the horn of the train.
It was time.
