Laurence pov

Aphmau's eye it's red like blood red what is happening to her. She's not a shadow knight since I can't sense her or the evil but her right eye is red like a shadow knights. I don't know what to do should I tell garroth or keep quiet. She held a sword to my neck it was huge yet she held it in one hand without difficulty i'm scared really scared. I want to tell but I don't want the consequences that go with it. I'm torn in two i'm scared for aphmau and what happened to her but she's gonna kill me in the process. I made up my mind i'm telling garroth I wonder how he will react *le sigh* I should go now.

Aphmau pov

Laurence is so nosy can't he just mind his own business.

'Calm down or you will hurt people and you don't want that to happen'

That voice in my head is right it's been right so far I haven't even started on my daily rounds I should get going on that.

*Time skip*

Geez today was boring everyone is getting to be so boring I finished them early so i'm gonna check on zane.

"Lord Aphmau zane is at the gate and he is wanting to see you!"

Well speak of the devil

"Okay Dale lead me there!"

When we got there a bunch of people were at the gates oh no this is I can't have a conversation with zane and all these people here this is gonna make it complicated.

"Well lord aphmau it's the end of the week do you accept to come?"

"Yes I do accept to go zane I will be ready tomorrow okay?"

"Good I knew you would accept to come."

He gave me a devious grin and I wanted to slap it off him but I kept it inside. I heard gasps and whispering in the crowd I didn't care they can ask all the questions they want I won't anwser any of them. So after all that zane left but the crowd didn't they all stared at me with confusion I had to push through the crowd when I fonally did I walked home to pack. After packing everything I heard a knock at the door so I opened it. It was garroth he looked angery and when I was about to speak he grabbed my wrist and dragged me near the place me and laurence talked.

"APHMAU WHAT WERE YOU AND ZANE TALKING ABOUT AND WHY ARE YOU LEAVING?!"

"Cause I can garroth and what me and zane talked about is none of your business okay?"

"WEL IT KIND OF IS SINCE HE IS MY BROTHER AND HEAD GUARD HERE!"

"Garroth calm down I bet everyone from the village can hear you."

"Okay okay i'm calm but why are you leaving with zane?"

"I'm leaving because he asked me to and if I refused he'd hurt the village is some kind of shape and form."

"How would you know that?"

"Come on garroth this is zane were talking about hear and there's always a consequence with everything you do."

"But what if he still hurt the village even if you went what would you do then?"

".....Lets hope it doesn't come to that."

"Come to what?"

"Well.....um......lok at the time i'm tired *yawn*goodnight garroth!"

"Good night lady aphmau."

And then I left I didn't want to say what I would do if that happened because it would be gruesome and not pleasant to hear from my mouth. I just hope he doesn't become to curious and will pit himself in danger. Well I have to get to bed and leave early in the morning so I should get to bed.

~Time skip to the morning~

I woke up unbelievably early it was somewhere around 3:30 in the morning. I packed extra clothes since I only planned to stay there for about a week BUT I didn't know the things zane has planned for me so be prepared. When I finished packing everything I went to the bathroom to see if my eye was covered and thankfully it was. I planned to leave before everyone was awake so I wrote a note to everyone to make sure they don't worry. By this time all the gaurds are taking a break so I can leave without any suspension. When I got to the gate I immediately opened the gate and when I was out I pulled the gate back down it was hard but I did it.

"I see you kept your promise lady aphmau."

"Yes I don't break my promises unlike someone I know."

I said hinting towards zane.

"Hey I have a reason."

"What is that 'reason'?"

"I have higher authority than everyone else."

He said it so proudly and strong as if it's something to be proud of.

"I only here exusises zane what about you?"

Zane growled at my comment he seemed very angered and it was kind of funny.

"Enough chit-chat lets get moving okay?"

"I was wondering when we would get going zane."

"Don't act smart aph--"

"No zane you stop acting smart and get moving I do have my sword you know."

"Are you threatening me aphmau?"

"No just simply stating that's all now lets get moving."

"Okay."

We started to walk and the trip took at least a 2 and a half days with no breaks even though I could tell zane was tired. Every time I insisted we take a break zane said.

'No me and my men can handle this if you can.'

They are real idiots but once we got to Okhasis I saw someone I never thought I would see ever again................................................
