Aphmau's pov

I woke up on a very comfortable bed I stayed there for a few minutes not wanting to leave but then I remembered Garte put me in charge of the village. WHY ME?!?! I got out of bed and got dressed. *(I am VERY bad at describing clothes sorry it's the picture above)* I look AMAZING it says classy,proper,and cute on the same outfit besides lords have a dress code here. It can't be an inappropriate outfit or you will be forced back into your room to change. I walked out of my room to the dining room turns out Garte was already there. Then I spotted he was doing paperwork I walked over to him and took it from him.

"Hey I need to do that 'till hazle g-"

He FINALLY saw my face and stopped his sentence.

"What did I say."

"Sorry it's just well I-"

"I told you to rest and relax don't worry."

"I know you can handle the village but..."

"But what?"

"Well....um....I don't think you should do this."

"What do you mean."

"Someone else will take your place."

"What,why?!?!"

"It's my decision to chose and I change my mind it's not you a member of The Jury Of Nine will take your place."

"Who?"

"Daniel The Light Arrow."

"Fine let him take care of the village i'm gonna go for a walk goodbye."

"Bye."

I'm so mad right now I can keep a straight face on the outside but on the inside i'm fuming. I kept walking till someone called my name.

"Aphmau hey!"

"Oh hey, Jack how are you?"

"I'm good, what about you?"

"I'm fine so want to w-"

"Jack wait for me and Kaitlyn!"

He said when he got to me and Jack he stood there panting same with the girl.

"Sorry but when I saw Aphmau I ran here-"

"More like sprited." Said a girl with light blue hair

"Well I thought you could run." Said Jack

"Wait Jack are you saying girls can't run?" I asked

Jack looked at me and I gave him a stare of anger and curiosity even though I wasn't anger or curious just a bit annoyed.

"N-n-not at all-"

"Sure.....so are you gonna introduce me to them Jack?" I asked

"Oh yeah sorry anyways aphmau this is Kaitlyn and Jeffrey*(Yes in this book Jeffrey is alive but they never met before so yeah)* Kaitlyn, Jeffrey this is aphmau."

"How do you know aphmau you never mentioned her before?" Kaitlyn asked

Then I remembered last night then I gave Jack a death glare out of anger.

"I ALREADY SAID SORRY!"

"BUT THAT IS NOT COOL THOUGH!! WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO DO THAT TO YOU?!?!?!!"

"What in Irene's name are you both talking about?" Asked Kaitlyn

"Well...(Explains everything) so that's what happened." I said

"Geez Jack that's mean and to do that to your best friend wow." Said Jeffrey

"I know right" I said

"Well wouldn't it be the opposite way if he did come back?" Kaitlyn asked

"NO IT WOULDN'T!!!"

"How do you know?"

"Because I left a note to say where I was in his room when he came back from gaurd training." I said

"And where were you?"

"I came here when I was near the gates I saw someone get attacked by bandits and helped him turns out he was bringing food since during that time there was a famine there so yeah." I explained

"How can you say that like it's nothing you saved people from hunger-" Kaitlyn said but I interrupted

"Not really I got put in jail since someone else saw it before me and they thought I did it to him even though I didn't the man that brought the food jad to explain it to them 'cause they wouldn't listen to me." I explained again

"Really wow so what happen after th-" Jeffrey got interrupted by Garte.

"You were right I should have listened Daniel couldn't do it please help!" Garte begged

*Sigh* "Fine just in a second I have one thing to ask well two." I said

"Anything!" Said Garte

"1.) What did Daniel do and 2.) May I speak to Daniel in private?" I asked

"Well Daniel couldn't handle pressure of being a lord since I told him EVERYTHING he needs to do like ma- I'm babbling aren't?" Garte asked

"Yes yes you are." I said

"Okay I think you get it anyways to answer your second question yes you may." Said Garte

"Thank you Garte."

"You're welcome Aphmau.....wait.....I REMEMBER YOUR NAME!!!"

"FINALLY IT TOOK YOU FOREVER TO REMEMBER!!"

"Anyways you may finish your conversation Aphmau then come okay?"

"Okay see you soon."

And he then left when I looked back at everyone there mouths were dropped to the floor it was funny I couldn't help but giggle. I was about to talk but then.....

"APHMAU YOUR FRIENDS WITH LORD GARTE?!?!" Kaitlyn and Jeffrey asked in union

"Yes I am I will explain tomorrow since I have business to do right now goodbye."

They just waved and stared at me with suprize and confusion I left them. I need to talk to Daniel to get sense in him.

~Time skip to after all the work and the talk with Daniel~

Wow that was very active no wonder Garte looked and is tired but I can manage unlike Daniel. I walked off to me room in the castle *(Or whatever you call it)* I walked in the room took a bath and went to bed thinking......

'If Jack did come back would it be different or the same?'
