Your POV

Tears. Tears. Only tears. Always tears. Every fucking time. I was sick of crying. I wanted to help them but I could only cry for them. I had to do something.

"Mark. I will go and save you." I said like I was 100% sure.

"Not yet (Y/n). Maybe later..." Mark tried to stop me.

"Mark if I don't leave this room they will find me." I gave a reason to leave this room.

"But (Y/n)..." He said.

"No but(t)s Mark,  I am going to leave this room and... "

"And?"

"I-I don't know. Maybe run again? Or hide?" I said.

"That's why I want you to be in this room. It's safe. You need to think first where to go." Mark said.

"You are right, you are always right." I smiled.

"I love you and I don't want to lose you." He said.

"I love you too. "

It was so hard to not to go out from this room because it was terrible, when I was talking with Mark, he was on a torture wall. That is why I wanted to save them, I wanted them to be fine, not to suffer.

"Did you hear that? "
"Hear what?"

"Oh, no! "

Two people were talking from the other side of the door. Maybe they heard that me and Mark were talking.
"Let me check it." There were two men. Dark and Anti-Jack. One of them opened the door. While he tried to opened it, I stood up, grabbed some dust and threw it in their faces and I ran out of the room. I was running until I found safe place to hide.

"What was that?" I heard them.

"Maybe a soul or a ghost?"

"Yeah, let's continue searching." They walked away.

"Phuuu..." I breathed out.

"(Y/n), promise me something." Mark said.

"Anything for you." I said.

"Don't die." He said.

"I won't, I can promise you that. I love you Mark." I said.

"I love you too." His voice was soft. I held the mirror piece to my chest like I was hugging it. I missed him, missed them. I wanted to hug him, hold his hand, kiss him so badly.

"So, you are hiding here?" I looked up and see WishuNight. I was sitting really tight.

"D-Do you want to take me to Réna again?" I asked.

"Oh, no." She laughed a little." As you can see, no-one else is around here. C'mon get up you rat." She was holding her hand out to me.

"Why should I trust you?" I was confused.

"Look, i just want to show ya this place or do you know anything about this?" She asked.

"And will you kill me after that?" I asked .

"I will give you some minutes to run away. "

"Fine." I agreed because she was right. I didn't know anything about this place I was just running from hallway to hallway.

"So, are a demon or what?" I broke the awkward silence while we were walking.

"Four of us." She said. "This place is almost like a labyrinth. I said ALMOST. There are so many torture rooms and you were only in a few." She smiled evilly.

"And why are you telling me these?" I asked. She turned around to me.

"Let's make a deal. I will not tell that your necklace can show Mark and the others AND you will not tell that I showed you around. Deal?" She held her hand out to me to shake it.

"Deal." I shook her hand. "So, do you believe in this mirror piece thing?"

"Yeah, but Anti-Jack didn't believe me." She said.

We were walking for so long now. I wanted to break the awkward silence but I didn't know what to ask.

"And do you know anything about Réna?" I asked.

"I can't tell you anything about her. It's private." She said.

"And... You?" I asked her.

"Me? I-I don't... want to." She said. "I don't really want to talk about myself especially my childhood. "

There had to be something wrong with her childhood.

"You don't have to talk abour your childhood." She said. "Because we all saw it already. "

"You were watching my childhood?" I was shocked.

"Yes. Well only me and Réna, Dark and Anti-Jack did the torture." She answered.

"But I didn't saw you in my childhood. I know you watched it but I only saw Dark, Anti-Jack and Réna." I said.

"Do you remember when you were in the hospital for a surgery? I was the nurse, I killed the doctor who wanted to help you in the first place." She said it like it was an everyday topic.

While we were walking I saw places that I haven't seen before. Long hallways, dark places and etc. These were creepy and rusty.

"Okay, we are here." WishuNight said. "Maybe you think that's only a dead end, but when I say you have 5 minutes to run away, you turn around you will see that you have to choose, you have to go right or left. But there is a trick because I hope you were looking around while we were walking. And why am doing this? Because I don't want to see another girl who dies in 5 seconds by Réna. And let me take this." She said and took my mirror piece necklace.

"Give it back!" I said.

"I will give it back if you will run to the right direction. Because one of the hallway contains deadly traps. So i will count to 300 and you will have to run away instatly without Mark's help. Okay? " she smirked.

"You little bastard! " Mark shouted from the mirror piece.

"Mark, trust me. Can remember my promise? " i said.

"Now, i will turn around you'll have to run. " she said.

She turned around so i saw her back.

"One, two, three... " she startes counting.

I turned to run. She was right. Two hallways. Right and left, AGAIN! So i had to make a decision really fast.

Left or right? Right or left? Left. Right. Left. Right.

"Oh, i know!"

"Ini mini myny mo(sorry i don't know how to write it down :( ) ..." i said.

"150, 151..." WishuNight counted loudly.

"Fuck it. " i said i ran left. I was running until... Nothing. No traps, no dead end, just nothing. It was like an endless corridor, so i was running until i saw a familiar place. The rooms where i was first. I had to know the right direction because i was already there, so i ran right.

"300!!" she shouted and i heard her footsteps.

"No, no, no! " i said.

A familiar place again, left. Another one, right. And another one, straight. But then i went into someone, and that someone was WishuNight. So i fell on the ground.

"Well, congrats. " she held her hand out. I got up.

"How did you arrive here before me?" i asked.

"I know a shortcut. I went to the right first." she said.

"What about the traps? " i asked.

"There were no traps anyway. " she giggled. " And you passed the 'exam'" she gave the mirror piece back. "Now go. "

I put it back on my neck, i turned around and walked away. I was walking on familiar places. I was thinking about how long i have been here, because i became hungry. I think the whole place echoed because of my stomach growling. I was walking until i smelled something tasty... Tasty food.
"Food! " i shouted and ran to it. It was a sandwich. It smelled really good and without hesitation, i ate it. There was water too so i drank it. But i felt something, something strange. I heard a girl said something not far away from me.

"That was way too easy." Réna was there, with Dark. I was kneeling on the floor and i lied down and closed my eyes. Pain was in me. There had to be something in that sandwich. Before i fell asleep i said this:
"I will save you, Mark. " and i slept.

- Later -

I woke in a new place. I haven't been there yet, but i saw familiar people. I won't lie, there was literally everyone. By everyone i mean: Dark, Anti-Jack, WishuNight, Réna, Mark, Sean and Signe. My friends were still on the wall, but i wasn't. I was sitting on the ground with chains on my wrists and ankles. I could move and stand up but i couldn't walk far. For example, i stood up and wanted to run but i could only step like 4 steps.

Réna came to me. We were facing each other.

"Why? I don't understand. " she said into my face.

"What? " i asked. We were so serious.

"Why are you the hardest to possess?" she smiled evilly. She grabbed my chin. " But now, you are weaker than my sister. It will be sooo easy. " she let it go and went back to Dark.

"We would start immediately,but i have things to do first. " Réna said and they went out.

"Mark! "
"(Y/n) "

We wanted to hug, kiss each other but we couldn't even reach each other. He couldn't move, i couldn't reach him.

"You can't get them off. " Signe said.

"What do you mean? " i asked.

"The chains. " she said. " It's impossible to get them down. You know, maybe we are souls but these chain are keeping us here."

"B-But there has to be something to get them off, because there is always something..." i said. " Wait. "

"What is it? " Sean asked.

"My mirror piece necklace! With the bottom of it, i can open the chains! " i said happily. I tried it and it worked. When i was free i helped Mark, Sean and Signe.

"Now what? " Sean asked.

"We run. " i said.

Of course the door was locked so tried very hard to open it. For the 10th time it worked. We were out of the room.

"I have an idea. Me and Signe will go this way, Mark and Sean will go that way. " i said.

"But i can't protect you if i don't go with you. " Mark said.

"Wait, you are right. Plan changed. Me and Mark will go this way, Signe and Sean will go that way. Okay? " everyone nodded.

Me and Mark went to left. I chose this because i learned that WishuNight and Anti-Jack always go together and the same with Réna and Dark.

So we were walking, hand in hand. Maybe i couldn't hold his hand like a year ago, but it felt good anyway.

"Mark. " i said.

"Hm? " he turned his head to me.

"What do you wanna do if we escape from this?" i asked.

"Well, spend sometime with you then i don't know. " he said.

"Hehe. " i giggled.

"Look, i want you to keep this if maybe i won't be there to protect you." he said and he handed me a knife.

"But i know you always be there. " i said.

Signe's POV

Me and Sean were walking, holding each other's hand. We weren't floating, we were walking like real humans, on the earth.

"You know what i was thinking about? " i broke the silence.

"Hm? " he said.

"If me and WishuNight were sisters. It would be strange. " i said.

"Well, who could tell? Maybe you are sisters." he said.

"That would be funny. " i said.

"I hope this will be over soon." i thought. Sean could saw that i was not happy. I was homesick.

"Look, when we got back, we will go to a beautiful restaurant to have a wonderful dinner together or if you want to stay home, you will see how i suck at cooking. " Sean said.

He always brings smile on my face, that's why i love him. He knows why i am sad and what i need.

"Okay. " i smiled. "But you know which one i would choose. "

"The restaurant because you don't want me to be embarrassed? " he asked.

"Well, no. I would choose that you cook, because something could make me laugh, and that something is you. " i giggled.

"So, you are saying that i am better chef then a restaurant? " he laughed.

"Totally." i said. "I love you Sean. "

"I love you too. " he said.

Then we saw them. WishuNight and Anti-Jack.

"Get them!" Anti-Jack shouted.

They tried to get us with some magical chains, but they missed. I jumped into WishuNight's body to get it back but she was way stronger than me, so i instantly get out. But Sean was successful for 10 seconds. Anti-Jack only puked 3 drops of the black soul liquid. We had only one option. Run. And we did. Until a dead end, but since we were souls almost like ghosts, we could go through walls, and that's what we did.

"Damnit! " i heard Anti-Jack.

"Melanie and Dark still have a chance to catch them. " WishuNight said. I heard their footsteps became quiter.

"Sean... " i cried. He was suprised about this.

"Yes sweetie?" he put his hand on my cheeks to whip away the tears.

"When will we go home? " i asked.

"Soon. I can promise you that. " he hugged me tightly. My head was on his chest, i felt safe.

"Signe. We have to warn Mark and (Y/n) about that their dark sides are after them. " Sean was worried.

"We can't waste any time! " i said and we got up. We started to run and looking for our friends.

Your POV

Me and Mark were walking in quiet and peace which was strange. I felt like someone was watching us.

"(Y/n)! Watch out! " he shouted and pointed up. We jumped aside but Réna and Dark appeared.

"What have we here? " Dark said.

"Something that we can play with. " Réna said.

Mark tried to possess back his body, but there was like a shield around Dark which was invisible. Réna tried to stab but Mark grabbed the knife out of Réna's hand and threw it far away. She was so angry that she and Mark were fighting already. Dark wasn't really looking at me so i escaped.

While i was i running i saw unfamiliar places and when i stopped, I was in front of a maze. I heard footsteps behind me. Dark. I ran into the maze to left him behind.

I wish i haven't done that.

Oh boy, oh boy! An update finally right? I am so sorry but the oral exams are over but i am ill again. I threw up yesterday and i don't fell well of course. But the book reached over 3k reads!! Thank you so much everyone! It was a suprise for me, literally. And i hope all of you having a wonderful day out there because i don't.
