"maybe I can help" a voice behind them said. They all turned around and spotted Dark. "hey Dark!" Lavender said. "hey sis!" they both hugged. "what are you doing here?" she asked. "exploring the woods" he said. "so can you help us make a plan?" Toad asked. "yeah, but first we need to find the others" he said looking around. Nobody knew much about Dark, but that he was Lavender's brother, and lived in the Dark Side. He always visited his sister, in the Mushroom Kingdom, ounce in a while. He hovered above them, and looked into the trees, but found no one in sight. "I don't see anyone, but I'll look around, you all stay" he said. They nodded. He flew away in search for the gang. Soon he had spotted Rosalina and Luma, walking by. "aha!" he said surprising them. They both gasped, not knowing what to do. They tried to run, but Dark quickly took a hold of them. "you guys are coming with me" he said flying higher and higher. Soon he returned from searching. "found two" he said placing them on the ground. "who are you?" Luma asked fearfully. "he's my brother, no need to worry" Lavender assured them. They both nodded. He looked around everywhere, and soon found them all. Meanwhile in town, Bowser had just landed from his jump. He looked around and found himself being lost. "where am I?" he said to himself. He looked around and spotted Queen Peach, thinking she was Peach. "aha!! finally I'll be able to catch you!!" he said, swooping her from her feet. "What do you think your doing!!!! let go of me, or else!!!" she yelled. "or else what?" he taunted. "Knights hand me the EXTRA MEGA MUSHROOM!!!" she yelled. The knights did as told, they handed her a grey and blue mushroom, with a frown. She grinned evilly, as she touched the mushroom and soon she was a giant. "Poor little Bowser" she taunted, holding Bowser in the palm of her hand. Bowser gasped at his sight, and trembled in fear. She kept him there, and took him to her castle. She ordered the chains on him, and kept him locked up. Back at in the forest, the gang had made a plan. "Okay, all we have to do is find the place you last where in, before getting lost" Dark started. "and then find the portal back home" Lavender continued. They all

nodded, and did as told. They walked through the woods, and as they did, Luigi had found a compass in the leaves. "this'll come in handy!" he stated. Everyone looked in the compass. "this way!!" Dark said, looking forward. They walked in that direction, and soon found the town's road. "finally!" Lavender said happily, as they walked through. "that took forever!" Birdo said aloud. A few people turned there attention to them. The gang soon noticed that all the attention was on them. They also noticed that there plain colors had faded out, and there normal colors where back. They all gulped. "who are you!!" a toad asked pointing his finger at them."they are my slaves, now shut it!!!" Dark said to him cruelly. They all frowned and returned to what they where doing. Dark evilly smiled, and lead them to his lair. "this is my lair, I need all of you to stay here, temporarily" he said. "so you can eat and sleep" he continued. They all nodded and looked around. "make yourselves at home". His lair was a dark cave, dimly lit, with a fire in the middle to keep warm, and soft, stolen cushions. "if you wonder where the cushions come from, there stolen, if you live in the dark side, you have to adapt'' he said staring at the cushions. They all nodded, understanding. "well, you all rest, I'll go search for food" he said, as he flew off into the distance. "looks comfy" Mario said, while sitting on a cushion. They all sat on one or two, and soon fell into deep sleep. Dark returned finding them asleep. He stored the food in some place safe, and watched over the gang, like a hawk. He stayed up all night making sure they where safe.
