Eaden closed the book and put it back into her bag. "Well, Raze, speaking of Summoner Spirits..." She pushed a piece of paper over to Raze. "What's that? A job request?" Raze asked. "Yeah, I just picked it up from the Bulletin Board." Eaden replied. "Read it out." Raze nodded and skimmed through that what was written on the paper. "Another demon is burning down Lilliana?" She asked. Eaden nodded. "Well... sounds like fun to me. And at least, this job gives us 60.000 Jewel." She put the letter down on the table top. "We'll gonna take that one. Tomoko, are you with us?", "What?" Tomoko stared at Raze like she just hit her. "You... you want me to come with you?", "Sure." Raze nodded. "Three is better than two, and I honestly like you." She smiled. "Are you crazy?" Eaden asked her. "If we are going to do this job, it would be too dangerous for her. She didn't get any training yet!", "Master Homura said that the best way to learn how to control your magic is trying it in practise! Why shouldn't Tomoko come with us to show us what she has got?", "You're totally silly, Raze! She won't only get in danger when she comes with us, she still isn't fully cured from her Magical Shock as well!" Eaden shouted. "She can't come with us!", "I don't understand what you're talking about." Raze said. "I believe in her, I know, that she can do this. You know, my feelings are mostly right.", "But... Ugh, you are so stubborn!" Eaden screamed. "Do you really want to let her getting into trouble?", "You know my answer." Raze put a hand on Tomoko's shoulder. "Do you want to accompany us?", "Ehm..." Tomoko looked at her hand. "I... I'm not sure... Isn't Eaden right?", "Oh, come on, don't say that. Eaden just is too worried about you. I'm sure you're gonna make it." Tomoko hesitated. "Well... when you're believing in me that hard..." Then, she nodded. "Okay, I'll come with you!" Eaden sighed and put her hand on her forehead. "Stubborn Lizard!" She grumbled. "When Tomoko would get injured on her first job, Homura's going to murder us.", "I'm aware of that." Raze said. "But I'm going to protect her. Let's go, then!" She stretched her fist in the air. "Yeah... Let's go." Eaden and Raze stood up. Raze took Tomoko's hand and smiled at her. "This will be fun. You're gonna see.", "I'll believe your words." Tomoko nodded and went with them.
The three went to the train station of Nohana. "The train will come in five minutes. But I'm certain that we can't get near to Lilliana with a train or bus. I think, we have to get off the train in Ivoria and fly from there to Lilliana.", "Fly?" Tomoko looked at Eaden. "How?", "It has its advantages to be an Implore Wizard." She smiled.
When the train arrived at the train station of Nohana, the three entered it. They found a free compartment. Raze sat down at a window, Eaden opposite her. Tomoko let herself fall next to Raze. "I'm so excited..." Tomoko said. "I can understand that. I also was very excited when I got my first job." Raze remembered. The train started moving. "Now that you are a full member of the guild, I'll tell you something about it..." She looked out if the window. Meadows and forests passed by. "Once... Dark Rose has been a Dark Guild.", "What?" Tomoko looked shocked at Raze. "Yes. The guild had been founded fifty years ago by a black wizard named Black Kuriarare. For thirty years, the guild had been in his power. Many other guilds were destroyed... But then, Dark Rose was attacked by an alliance of guilds that had been founded to defeat Dark Rose. The whole guild was destroyed." She sighed. "For two years, Dark Rose has been disbanded, until Dark Rose' second master, Cheren Olivera, rebuild it. The parents of Homura, Alena and Iona were part of the guild then, too... twenty years, Cheren ruled the guild, but then, a second war happened. Iona, Homura and Alena escaped. Homura was fourteen, when she ran away. Iona and Alena followed her. Iona was eleven and Alena ten. Dark Rose was destroyed a second time... Homura founded the guild new as its third master, four years ago. Since then, the guild is not a Dark Guild anymore. I've joined it together with Eaden, then.", "Sad background..." Tomoko said. "Unfortunately. But it's over now." Raze formed her hands to fists. "Now, Dark Rose wants to get its old strength back. We all want to show that Dark Rose is good now.", "That's a noble goal." Tomoko said. "Yeah. That's why Homura planned to let Dark Rose participate in the Grand Magic Games this year." Eaden explained. Her Katana stood between her knees. "The Grand Magic Games?" Tomoko repeated. "Yap. It's a big event, taking place every year in Crocus, the capital of Fiore. Many wizard guilds prove their strength there. The winner will be the most powerful guild in Fiore for that year." Eaden said. "Our goal is not to be the winner, it would be nice though, but we want to achieve that everyone knows about Dark Rose' existence as a legal guild. I mean... a second place is enough.", "It depends on how strong the guilds are that participate in the Games. Two years ago, for example, Fairy Tail won the Games, followed by Sabertooth. Blue Pegasus, Mermaid Heel, Lamia Scale and Quatro Cerberus participated as well. That all are tough guilds. Last year grand magic games were boring. The participants where guilds like Dwarf Gear, Scarmiglione and Dullahan Head. Scarmiglione was the winner, though..." Raze said. "I hope this year's Grand Magic Games will be interesting.", "So do I." Eaden nodded. "
After a while, they heard a loudspeaker announcement. "This train will end in Ivoria because Lilliana is cordoned because of a demon attack. All passengers are requested to leave the train.", "You heard that?" Raze asked. "Yeah, I'm not deaf." Eaden nodded. "Let's get off the train."
In Ivoria, they left the train and looked around at the station of Ivoria. "There are quite many people here." Raze analysed. "Come on, let's leave here and go to Lilliana." They left the station. On the streets of Ivoria, Eaden lifted her hands. "I'm calling you, Warrior of Heaven. Listen to my voice and help us. Lend me your power, WING!" A magical circle appeared in the air. Light was forming on it and materialized. The blue bird from the picture in Eaden's book flew down to the earth and landed in front of Eaden. "Hey, Wing." Eaden stretched out her arm and stroke the beak of the bird. "You've called me after a long time, Miss Diamond." The voice of the bird sounded like gust of wind. "Yeah. I need your help, Wing." She said. "I hope you don't mind carrying us to Lilliana?" Wing folded his wings. "Surely I don't." He settled down on the cold asphalt. "Great. You're a real friend, Wing!" Eaden jumped on the bag of the phoenix. "Come on, guys! We can't waste our time!" Raze climbed on Wing's back. Tomoko stared at the giant bird. "Ehm..." Raze hold her arm out to her. "Don't be afraid! I'm going to pull you up here!" Tomoko took Raze' Hand and the Dragon Slayer pulled her up to the back of the bird. "Well, take care! We take off!" Eaden shouted. Wing spread his enormous wings and shot with a shrill scream into the blue sky.
