Raze indicated Tomoko to follow her. Tomoko hesitated, but then she got moved and followed the Dragon Slayer. Raze lead her up some stairs to a second floor. A small hallway that maybe was three metres wide formed a circle. Standing at the railing at the right, you were able to look down on the first floor. Raze brought Tomoko to a door. A sign was hung out at it. It said "Dark Rose' Guild Master". "Here we are." Raze said. "This is our master's room. Her name is Homura Tanaka." Raze knocked on the door. "Come in!" said a voice from the inside. Raze opened the door and entered the room. "Master." She bowed herself. Behind a desk sat a woman with a fairy- like face. Her eyes were yellow, her hair blonde. She wore a red Kimono- like thing and dark leggings with high boots. Around her hip she had a dark belt with a star made of metal. She looked up when Raze and Tomoko entered the room. "Raze." The woman smiled. "I see, you brought someone with you?", "Yes, Master Homura." Raze nodded. "This is Tomoko Kasai, she wants to join the guild." Homura looked at Tomoko. "Oh. Well, I'm glad to hear that. Do you already have magic or do you have to learn it?", "I already have magic." Tomoko replied. "But... there is something I want to ask you about it. Can you help me?", "I don't know whether I can help you, but go forward with your question." Homura put her hands on her desk. "I use Gemstone Maker Magic. What... what do you know about that magic?" Suddenly, Homuras face froze. "Gemstone Make? That's a rare magic... It's Lost Magic.", "Lost Magic?" Raze looked at Homura. "Is that magic that powerful?", "What... is Lost Magic in the first place?" Tomoko asked unsure. "Lost Magic is a special kind of magic that counts in Dragon, God and Demon Slayer Magic at first, but it is a generic term for rare and powerful magic. Every magic type count to Lost Magic has immense power and was nearly forgotten because there are not many people who can use that magic. Lost Magic has a destructive power, you know. It has been obliterated because of that facts." Tomoko stared at Homura. "Do you want to say... I mean...", "Gemstone Maker Magic is another kind of Maker Magic. It can be divided in three styles, that's what is super rare. As well, you can fuse those three styles to more powerful ones." Tomoko looked at her hands. "Those three styles... Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald...", "Exactly." Homura nodded. "Ruby, standing for fire and passion, Sapphire, standing for water and cold and Emerald, standing for Nature and silence. If you fuse them to other styles, the power of those fusioned styles is way higher than the one of the base elements. And maybe, the final creation, the one which is generated when Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby are mixed together, might be ultra-destructive." Tomoko continued staring on her hands. Homura stood up and went to her. She put a hand on Tomoko's shoulder. "I know that Lost Magic is difficult to master. The key to your success is training. Accidents with magic can happen. But don't desperate from that, you have to keep on trying. It's not just magic, it's your magic! Magic is strengthened by the power of emotion. And when you feel good with using your magic, it would be easy to master it." Tomoko looked into Homura's face. "I can teach you how to get your power under control, but the best way to learn it is doing it in practise." Then, Homura walked back to her desk. "So, then I'll welcome you in my guild!" She took a stamp and turned around. "Where do you want to have your guild sign?", "Eh...." Tomoko looked at her helplessly. Then she turned around to Raze. "Wh-where do you have your emblem?" Raze smiled and rolled up her right sleeve. Her Dark Rose Emblem, the red rose with the black leafs, was on her upper arm. "You can have your sign wherever you want, kid." Homura said. "You just have to decide, where. Don't be afraid, I won't bite ya." Homura smiled. "R-right." Tomoko nodded. "I want to have it on my right forearm.", "Sure. Than give me your arm." Tomoko stretched her arm and Homura took it carefully. She pressed the stamp on Tomoko's forearm. It burned slightly, but when Homura took it away, Tomoko finally had her guild sign on her forearm. "So, now you are an official member of our guild!" Homura clapped with her hands. "I hope you'll like it in here and you'll find lots of new friends!" Raze smiled and took Tomoko's arm. "Come. I'll introduce you to all the other guild members! And then I'll show you a place where you can stay!"
When Raze and Tomoko returned to the first floor, Tomoko saw many people. Eaden was talking to an older- looking girl with light brown hair and a white shirt. She wore a chain around her neck. Raze went straight towards them. Eaden smiled when she saw Tomoko, having her guild mark. "My congratulations. You're now a member of our guild. Are you excited?", "Yeah, totally! I'm so interested in meeting all kinds of new people!" Eaden laughed and put a hand on Tomoko's head. "You're a cute one." The girl next to her grinned. "I'm Iona Sentaku! Nice to meet ya!", "I'm Tomoko! It's also nice to meet you!" Iona and Tomoko shook their hands. "I'm a Lightning Wizard." Iona said. "I heard what happened to you from Alena. What kind of spell did you use that something like that could happen to you?", "Well...." Tomoko looked to the ground. "I... I used the Emerald Style Crystallization...", "What is that?", "I froze their blood.", "Oh." Iona nodded. "I think you killed them, then?" Tomoko nodded slightly and ashamed. "Well, you don't have to blame yourself. You defended yourself against wizards who were in a majority. And by the way, they were from Shiver Dragon, no one would cry after them." Raze said. She put a hand on Tomoko's shoulder. "I think they've totally deserved it to have their asses being kicked!", "Now, you exaggerate, Raze." Iona shook her head. "You're always into a fight, I know, but we can't stand against Shiver Dragon. Our guild has too few members. Remember, Shiver Dragon is one of the biggest guilds around." Raze mumbled some unintelligible things. "Come on. Go and introduce Tomoko to the other guild mates." Eaden said. Raze nodded. "Fine. Come, Tomoko." They went further. At a table were sitting two other people. A boy with fire red hair and blue clothing and a girl with brown hair, banned to a pony tail. She wore very dark clothing. When the boy saw Raze passing by, he stood up and smiled. "Hey, Ice Face. I see you have someone with ya.", "Shut up, Fire Breather!" Raze shouted at him. "Why are you so impolite towards me, Snow Reptile?!" He hissed back. "Because you're damn stupid, Flame Mug!", "Can you please pull yourself together!?" The girl shouted angrily. "You're always arguing, it gets on my nerves all the time! I know Ice and Fire don't like each other, but do you really have to shout into each other's faces when someone else is nearby?!", "I'm sorry, Annika." Raze said. "But I really can't be friend with this..... Fire Mage!", "This Fire Mage has a name!" The boy said angrily. "I'm Silver!" Raze looked at him with a destructive glare, but Silver didn't care about her anymore. He looked at Tomoko instead. "And who are you?", "I'm Tomoko." Tomoko smiled. "Man, you two are creepy when you argue...." Annika stood up and went towards her. She lay an arm around her shoulders. "Don't disgust her, you fools!" She said. "Sorry." Silver lifted his hands. Annika looked at Tomoko. "Are they always that way?", "Yeah, unfortunately." Annika nodded. "You two definitely have to learn how to behave yourselves around Newcomers! You chase them away like that!", "Aren't you the one who's always saying to be careful with strangers, Annika?" Silver asked. "Yeah, but she's a child! How old are you, Tomoko?" Annika demanded. "I'm twelve." She answered. "You see?" Silver put his hands in the pockets of his blue jacket. "So? Do you make exceptions with strange children?" Annika stretched out her tongue and sat down again.
