"Let's go and find cover." Eaden said and broke the sad atmosphere. The others nodded and hid behind a house. For some moments, nothing happened. But then, someone yelled. "WHERE ARE YOU, HOMURA?!" Tomoko risked a look. There was a very big guy with raven black hair and he looked pissed. Homura silently positioned herself opposite him. "Hi, Shino." she said. "You poor little bitch! I'm gonna crush you!", "You could've avoided this to happen." Homura replied calmly. "But you ignored my letter... so pay the consequences!", "You're feelin' big, ain't cha? But I'm gonna tell ya something! You are little. Little and weak! So creep back into the hole you came out and just die!" Homura just gave him a smile. "As you say.", "The showdown of guildmasters will now begin..." Raze whispered. "Kanami!" Shino screamed. "You and the ones who remain- Attack!!!" Some people came out of guild's ruin with a battle cry. "Kanami is one of the vice leaders." Silver whispered. "Eaden, take her on." Eaden nodded. "Got it..." She took out her katana and looked around the corner. Kanami was a pretty, blonde-haired woman with bright green eyes. "Okay... let's go..." The blade of her katana was surrounded by black shadows. Then, she revealed herself. "Oh, look the cutie with the toothpecker." Kanami smiled at her. "Who might you be?", "My name is Eaden Diamond." Eaden answered. "Ah... great to get to know the names of my victims before they are forgotten..." Eaden didn't reply. Two guys followed Kanami. "Masato and Takumi. The other vice leaders." Silver introduced them. He typed on his lacrima. "Ichiro... those guys over there are the other two vice leaders!", "Thanks for the info, Silver... We will take'em on." Ichiro walked on the battle field. "A kid?" Masato asked. "Adorable, really.", "A kid, yeah." Ichiro replied. "No danger at all, right?", "Doesn't mean I won't kill you." Masato responded. "Wow, that's rude." Ichiro said. "I don't care. Takumi, wanna have some fun too?" The other guy nodded. "I'd be pleased...", "Not at all!" Iona suddenly stood behind him and held an arrow made of pure lightning closely to his neck. "You will have to deal with me!"
Akira looked through the scope of his gun. He had to take at least a few other people down on case they tried to attack his comrades. Shooting the vice leaders was no option right now, since he had to take the risk to hit his friends instead. So, he aimed on some other members that came out of the guild hall. Some injured, some with just slight wounds. He pulled the trigger several times and shot them.
"They have a sniper!" Masato yelled when he realized his friends collapsing one after another. "Where?!" Kanami asked. Masato looked around and saw something being reflected by the sunlight. "At the church!", "Find him and kill him!" Shino screamed. Some of the guild members nodded and ran into the streets. "Shit, they are not allowed to find Akira." Raze said. Ichiro raised his hand and shot a water fontain into the air. He hoped Akira would see it. He wasn't allowed to stay where he was.
Akira saw the water sign. "Already?" he wondered. At that moment, he heard Ichiro's voice in his head. "They are coming after you, Akira. You can't stay there for now. Come to us and fight yourself through!" Akira nodded. "Alright, thanks for the warning..." His gun disappeared and he stood up. He turned around and ran down the stairs. "Weapon Magic: Dagger Mode!" Two magical daggers appeared in the air. They had fire red blades and crystal grips. He grabbed them and saw the first people coming into his direction. "Found him!" One of them screamed. "Shit. When they are coming all at once..." Akira stopped running. Then, he dodged the hit of one of the wizards and cut him down. Another one came with a knife towards him. He blocked it and ripped hit out of his fingers before he kicked him into his stomach and hurled him against a wall. At that second, a shadow arrow shot through the air and hit another wizard. Akira looked around. Annika was running over the roofs, firing off more arrows. "I'm coming for your support!" Annika shouted, jumped down and created a shockwave. "Thanks." Akira smiled slightly before the blades of his daggers caught fire. "Let's do this! Where is Nicole?", "She send me here." Annika replied and stopped next to the young boy. "I have been hit by some bricks and my head still hurts, so she said it might be better if I come to help you facing this bunch of scumbags.", "Okay... Thanks again for that you came.", "No prob, pal! Let's whipe'em out quick and rejoin the others.", "Sounds likable." Akira smiled as they where surrounded. "8 in total. No match for us, right?", "Not at all." Annika was surrounded by shadows. "Who takes down the most wins, what do you say?", "You want a competition?" Akira asked. "Yeah! Otherwise, it ain't funny enough! Since those rats killed their own guards and some of the civilists of Heather...", "I get it now. Okay, I agree." Akira nodded. "Great! Let's get started then!" Annika focussed the dancing shadows on her fists. "Shadow Punch!" She dug her fist into the stomach of one if her opponents and he flew to the back. Two others immidiatly attacked the shadow wizard. She turned around and punched one of them into his face, the other one got an ellbow onto his chest. She heard something cracking. "That were your bones, as it seems." she said. The guy groaned and shrank back, holding one hand on his chest.  However, Annika didn't intented to let him get away like that. "Shadow Impact!" She pushed the palm of her hand through the air, putting it onto her opponent's chest. A shadow wave came out of her hand and threw him back. He collided with a wall and fell to the ground unconsciously.
Akira made some quick movements with his daggers, sending fire blades through the air. When someone tried to attack him, he dug the grip of his dagger into his ribs, followed by a powerful kick.
In the end, all of their foes where laying on the ground, not able to fight anymore. "I defeated 5." she said. Akira glared at her. "Three. But that doesn't count! I defeated some before you came here!", "Ah ah! You are a bad loser, as it seems.", "Not true!" Akira yelled. "Yeah, right! C'mon, let's go back. The others may need our assistance." Annika suggested. "You are right. Let's hurry."
