Tomoko tried her best, and finally, she was able to imagine what Homura told her. She feld that something was entering her body. "Very good." Homura said. "I can see the Ethernano particles fly around you. Now listen. Focus on a spell you want to use and use the new Ethernano to regulate your energy." Tomoko nodded and and put the palm of her hand on her right fist. "Gemstone Make... Lance!" A blue magic circle appeared around her and her sapphire lances flew towards Homura. The guild master raised her hand. "Light Magic: Shield." A golden magic circle appeared in front of her and the lances hit it. But they had no effect. "Did you feel better?" Homura asked. Tomoko nodded. "Yeah, kinda!", "You see? Well, the secret is... You focus to much on using your energy than using the spell. When you concentrate on using the spell in the first place, you will just waste the right amount of magical energy." Homura patted Tomoko's shoulder. "We're finished. You did well. Do you still want to accompany us?", "Yeah! I want to!" Tomoko nodded. "I'll do my best!" Homura smiled slightly. "Very well, then... Let's take a look for what our comrades archieved meanwhile."
They went inside of the guild hall. Raze and Alena had put several material on a table in the hall. "We have Communication Lacrimas, Explosion Lacrimas, Food, Some weapons..." Raze pointed on one of the Communication Lacrimas. "Wait, isn't that one broken?", "Yeah, you're right." Alena said and sighed. "It must have been damaged during some fights...", "Hey." Homura went towards them. "We have many Lacrimas. Great. I think this is enough. No matter whether one is broken or not.", „Master?" Iona appeared next to the table. "Ichiro and I used one of the communication lacrimas to call the team on mission. Nicole and Akira are returning soon, so I think we're okay here.", "Good." Homura nodded. "Is Eaden back already?", "No, she hadn't returned yet." Iona answered the question in the negative. "Hm... Alright, I think she's just too busy right now.", "Soul went off to look for her." Alena said. In that moment, the door opened. Eaden and Soul entered the guild hall, together with a girl and a boy Tomoko never saw before. The girl was dainty and had brown hair reaching down to her shoulders. Her eyes were bright green. She wore a white top and a three quater jeans. She had a chain with a black cube around her neck. Tomoko estimated she was 17 and she discovered the guild mark on her right shoulder. She seemed to be quite friendly. The guy wore a white shirt, a grey coat and a black trousers. His hair was black with red tips.
"Oh, Eaden. You're back, I'm glad." Homura said. Eaden put her Katana into its sheath. "Some of the guild members of Shiver Dragon lingered around at Nohana's border, I've chased them away." She said and looked at Soul. "I was grateful he supported me for the last minutes, they were really irritating, I must say." Soul smiled. "No problem, Eaden." He took an mp3- player out of his pocket and put his headphones in. His brown hair fell over his right eye, he had some tears in his grey hoodie. "They've damaged my clothes, I'm really pissed." He grumbled and walked away. Homura looked at the two newcomers. "Welcome back, Nicole and Akira." The brown-haired girl smiled. "I'm pleased to be here, master. Well, Ichiro told us what's going on around here. Shiver Dragon is causing trouble? No problem, they'll pay for it.", "You should take a break until we're finished with our preparations. We're going soon after it.", "Master?" Ichiro came over to her, he held a paper in his hands. "I've invented a strategy for our attack.", "Great. It's better you tell us when I will call out for a member meeting." Then, she looked at Tomoko. "You'll stay with Raze and Eaden. I don't wanna risk you to become injured, as our youngest member. Alright?", "Understood." Tomoko nodded.
After half-an hour, Homura sat down on one of the steps of the stairs leading to the second floor and raised her voice. "Alright, members of Dark Rose. We all know why we're here, don't we? Time is up for Shiver Dragon. They ignored our threat. So it's our task to take action. I've informed the Grand Magic Council about what we're up to. They've responded with understanding. Shiver Dragon is a dark guild which's existence was known to them, but they didn't grade them to be dangerous. Now that they've caused trouble, we are allowed to destroy them. Dark Guilds are, as we know, illegal guilds with sect-like daily life or goals that can't be tolerated. So, we now have a plan how to attack. Ichiro, explain you're tactic." Ichiro nodded and went to a blackboard Silver prepared for him, and pinned his battle plan on it. "Very well... Can you all see it?" he asked. Everyone nodded. "Great. Well." He pointed on a cross in the middle of the paper. "Here is Shiver Dragon. We all surround the guild to prevent them to ask support from other dark guilds. Iona and me will start the attack, our magic is far-reaching and perfect for crushing the guild hall. As soon as Shiver Dragon realizes, what happens, we will attack but every single member has to possess one Explosive and one Communication Lacrima. Shiver Dragon has a special construction. Based on the information Silver gave me: There are three vice leaders, all of them S-class mages. They also have five admins. Master Homura should take care of the guild master, Iona, Eaden and me will face their vice leaders. We'll only be able to defy them when we put their leaders out of action. We'll destroy them from the inside.", "Sounds quite simple." Raze said. "Wait a sec." Akira interrupted. He hadn't said anything since he was here, but when Tomoko heard his voice, she somehow flinched. It was unexpected dark. "You threatened Shiver Dragon to attack them, if I'm not mistaken, master." He started. "So... wouldn't they be prepared on an attack? Maybe they even want us to make the first step so they can counter. It's possibly a trap.", "...You're right." Homura mumbled. "But we can't stop now."
