I stepped from the Helicopter onto the tarmac. "My queen." A man bowed low before me.
"Yes?" I turned to him. I patted my leg and Adolphne padded down next to me. Tiffany stuck her head out and watched in aw as the other chopper landed and one by one my wolves jumped down. The walked to me with their heads bowed low and in complete submission. Everyone minus Diva.
"Your car awaits you."
"Perfect." I smirked. "Do you have my line up planned? With the UN?"
"Of course, ma'am." He bowed again and walked away. A sleek black Lamborghini drove itself forward and stopped in front of me.
"You coming." I asked Tiffany, not even turning to face her. I held my head high as I heard her scramble to step in next to me. I looked at her side ways.
"Devine, where did you get all this?" She asked looking at the tarmac, which proved to be my extremely long drive.
"You truly want to know?" I asked. I walked around to the drivers seat and slid in. I whistled at Adolphne and she and her pack started running towards the mansion. She slipped into the passenger's seat.
"Yes." She looked at the two Helicopters that were wheeling off to the hanger, the gardens we whizzed passed and the many, many pools.
"Well, I believe you will learn when we step foot in my home." I smirked. Underneath my heart was breaking and collapsing. I could feel it. I knew this was the last place I ever saw Chris Evans, the last place he ever truly held me. As I thought about how he had been stolen from me, hatred and anger began to restitch my torn heart.
The car roared to a stop and I got out. I slipped my hand bag into my hand and clicked up the stairs with a confused Tiffany following on my heels.
We stepped inside and she gasped. The massive open room had a giant custom made crystal and diamond chandelier. The black marble flooring gave it a rare and unique look and feel. Crimsons, golds, and black decorated my spacious rooms. We walked through the home and I lead her to my private sitting room.
I ushered her in and then turned the lock and pressed a button dimming the entire room.
"Okay, Devine, what is happening?" She looked at me. "You left for 5 years and now you are crazy rich? I mean you were rich, but even more so. You went missing for over half a year, and yet you came back richer than before. And what happened to Chris?"
"Look, I can't answer all your questions, but lets just say, I was kidnapped by my crazy ex boyfriend, who was a huge mafia boss, who then killed Chris, and then I killed him for killing Chris?" I trailed off.
Her eyes went wide. "So what are you going to do?"
"What I have always have wanted to." I looked out the window. A smug smile played on my lips as I looked on all my land.
"And that would be?"
"I will be queen." I smiled and turned to face her.
Her eyes widened. "What has happened to you?" She watched me sag to the sofa.
"I don't know." I looked at her. She sat next to me. I opened my phone and pulled up the messages between me and Devan, when he left me for his 'business deals'. I handed her the phone wordlessly and then stood.
She read a few. "Devine, these are awful. He's not even hiding the fact that he believed he owned you." She looked up at me. I steeled my gaze out my window. "Why didn't you get Chris to take you back?"
"Because, Devan had something I needed." I walked to the wall and pushed in a panel. I stepped inside the small room and reemerged with a black case.
"De, this is down right abuse." She exclaimed as she continued to read through them.
"Oh, that's not even the whole of it." I touched my bracelet and my suit began to slide down my body to return to its resting place, leaving me in my bralette and panties. She gasped as I pointed out the scars. My eyes rested on the newest one. A brutal knife gash on my thigh.
My entire body was decorated with small scars, big scars, and a scratch or two here and there. "This is my past." I looked at her. "Most of them are from Devan, some are from the Army, some from being an assassin, and some from former partners." I walked to the side of the room and grabbed a robe. I slipped it on and continued my walk.
"So, why this?" She asked.
"Because, I need to world to know, know who I am and that I am truly better than I once was." I watched her face closely. "You disagree?"
She stood and looked me square in the face. "No."
"Good," I smiled a cruel smile. "Because when I am finished, those who appose me will no longer be standing, but on the ground. Drowning in their own filthy blood." I spat the words out and strode to the door. I push them open and tapped in a security code.
"Welcome, Ms. Bennett." My system's robotic voice came through the lines.
"Hello." I confirmed. Tiffany scrambled into the hallway behind me and took in the new wonders my home was presenting. "Could you have my private jet up and ready to be running in a few hours. I have a meeting with the UN."
"Of course, ma'am." She made a note of it and sent it to my planes. "It is done."
"Perfect." I smiled and continued walking until I reached my room. "Make sure I am on time, and make a statement."
"Yes."
"Thank you." I stopped in front of my large room.
I opened the door and Tiffany looked inside. "Whoa."
The expanse of black and gold materials mixed with a crimson dark enough to have been called blood. The expensive bed and bedding took up a bit of the room, but a huge sitting room off to the side of it, along with a giant balcony, gave it the feeling of being much larger than it was.
A large master bath and a huge walk in closet completed the room set up. "So, what do you think?" I asked as I walked into the bathroom to fix my face up. I looked at myself and quickly did my touch ups.
"Where did all this come from?" She looked at me.
"Oh you know, a death here and death there, pays very well." I smirked. "I need to know something."
She turned to me. "What?"
"Are you with me?" I pulled a gun off the shelf and inspected it. "Cause if not, I need to know now." I looked at her.
"Yes." She looked at me. "I want in."
"Perfect." I pulled my lips back to show off a gleaming canine. "Because I am going to need a Princess."
She looked at her clothes. "When do we begin my lady?"
"Tonight." I smirked. I grabbed a seductive gown and pulled it out. The black silk touched and smoothed on my body. "I am meeting someone as well. I will need you to remain with Adolphne to ensure your safety until I can train you properly."
"Okay." She looked through my wardrobe. "Do you have anything but Crimson and Black?"
I sighed and pulled out a silver gown. "I figured the princess should be light, while the Queen dark."
The silver mermaid gown hung on her perfectly and she twirled. As she did that it morphed into a suit and she looked at it smugly. "You knew?"
"Of course." I smirked.
"Who are you meeting."
"A suitor, one who has reached out to me." I smiled. "He has asked that we remain silent."
"Yes, but didn't Chris just die?"
"Yeah, but he sorta set us up prior to his death." I let out a low noise from my chest. "He knew he was going to die."
Tiffany looked at me in horror. "You let him come to get you?"
"Yes!" I looked in my mirror. "I did."
"You knew?"
"Yes."
"Who is it?" She turned me to face her. "And does he know?"
"Chris Hemsworth. And yes he does."
