Without even knowing when and why,

I fell in love with your blue eyes.

Your eyes as deep as the ocean,

as beautiful and as dangerous.

When they looked at me,

It felt like they could see through every wall

I've built around me.

There was something breathtaking about it.

Something I didn't understand,

until I drowned in them.

Your love wasn't there to save me,

so now, they scare me.

They once looked at me

like I was the only thing they could see,

and that gave my heart a reason to beat.

But no matter how much we try to hide some things,

we forget that our eyes speak.

And so, I ended up drowning all over again,

when your eyes stopped looking at me the same way.
